The peaceful, sleepy Traverse Town lay quiet, the perpetual night sky above twinkling with pretty stars and most of the residents in their homes for the moment.
Good thing, too, because someone was about to appear out of absolutely nowhere.
Literally out of the air came Mithi Hino on the first step of hir journey, appearing in the sleepy little place right in front of a massive door. Tch, who the heck lives here? Some race of giants? ze thought to hirself, looking it up and down with a hand set on hir hip.
Well, whoever lived there, Mithi was about to find out. Well, giant or not, I just hope someone here can put up a decent fight. A grin crept up on hir lips at the thought; ze hoped ze could find a strong fighter, maybe a teacher... though the thought of spending that kind of time with someone made hir vaguely uncomfortable. Keeping company wasn't exactly hir strong suit.
Look, be awkward later, moron, Mithi told hirself as ze shook hir head, wrapping hir cape around hirself so that hir weapons couldn't be seen by any passers-by. For now, you've gotta job to do. And you better do it right... for his sake. With that thought, ze turned and began to slowly walk through this unassuming little square. Definitely didn't remind hir of anywhere in Sekai no Beca, but that was to be expected.

A dark portal open as Ren and his followers Sasuke and Nore walked into Traverse Town. It had been quite some time since they have been here. Last time they were here they had to fight some lightning mage named Spark. But now Ren was here to regroup. His twin was back and now with more allies than ever.
Ren was outnumbered by Riley before, but it didn't matter back then. Ren had more powerful allies before but now most of them were killed by him. Ren needed a new plan if he didn't want to lose his advantage over Riley. " Spread out," he told them. " We need a new ally. One who I can teach. We need someone new, unexpected. That's how we'll beat Riley. We'll train more people and the alliance will be stronger than ever!"

[OOC: Slightly lame post, I know, but I promise they'll get better as things go along!]
Ugh, this place is dull, Mithi thought to hirself, taking a look around after wandering for a bit; it was all so quiet and homely and lovely. Not the kind of place ze needed at the moment, though ze might have appreciated the quiet another day. Nothin' around so far as the eye can see; just some houses and massive doors and kids coming out of portals. ...Wait, huh?
Mithi took a moment and blinked to ensure ze had, in fact, seen what ze had just seen. Yes, not all that far away, some kids - a little thing with long, red hair, a just as little thing (if not littler) all in black, and a (also little) person with wings and a tail - had just walked through a portal. Wonder if they're from 'out of town' like me, ze wondered, deciding to just watch them for a moment.
The redhead's mouth was moving like he was talking, but though ze strained to, ze couldn't make out what he (though he could have been a she, the figure was pretty short and the hair was really long) was saying. Ze thought ze made out something about an 'alliance,' but ze couldn't be sure. Dammit.
Just walking up to a bunch of kids and asking 'hey, out of sheer interest, where did you three just come from and how did you do it?' was probably more than a bit weird, ze reckoned; but damn it, ze wanted to know what the heck that portal was and why the blonde one had wings and a tail. With that thought in mind - and also the fact that ze was meant to be battling as much as possible, and maybe these kids could fight despite their sizes - Mithi decided to say something.
"Hey, that's some trick you three've got there," ze called conversationally in a strange, masculine yet feminine tone from where ze was, taking a few steps towards them but remaining a ways away. It probably wouldn't pay to get close per se. "I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're not from around here, huh?" Mithi folded hir arms, not bothering to arrange hir cape so it covered hir guns, the strange world-travelling stone on hir left hand glowing gently.

Bishop had ended up in traverse town a few days prior, dropped off by gummi ship. He had hitched a ride illegally and was not unhappy with where he had ended up. As he walked the the birghtly lit streets, he found many taking a few steps back from him. He shrugged this was normal anywhere he went, somehow someone so small could make so many fear him. He found the whole thing funny to watch, but didn't like it. He did feel unappreciated for what he did for many people, but it was part of the job, he had the smell of death on him all the time, plus he looked damn strange. He looked around carefully, looking for something out of the ordinary, and then well he saw it. A large portal with people pouring out of it. He felt power pulsing through the air as many strong willed individuals began bathering at this point.
He stopped and watched with slight curiosity at the new arrivals wondering what he should do. He had never seen these people, nor heard of the, but it wasn't as small lf a universe as many made it out to be. He was however worried whether if this was friend or foe. He circled the group from a distance, he saw something approach the group. It looked like a heartless and it spoke like a man and a woman, he didn't even know if it was a he, a she or an it. He sighed a bit, this day was getting more and more complicated.
The whatever it was tried to make conversation, but it was apparent that these people didn't seem the type to talk, they seemed scarred and battle hardened, and that never boded well.

Mithi watched the three newcomers with interest, setting a hand on hir hip; in all honesty, ze was glad that they were all pretty tiny and different looking. (Not to mention one of them had wings and a tail. Really, that point couldn't be emphasized enough, wings and a tail, like beasts in ancient tales!) It made hir feel a bit more comfortable, being 'different' hirself.
Speaking of different, though... Out of the corner of hir eye, Mithi noticed a figure stalking around further away. The person seemed to have something large attached to their back, dressed in strange armour that didn't seem native even to this alien land, with strange-coloured hair that looked like it was a lot lighter once.
That wasn't the interesting part about him, though. What was interesting in him was the aura, the atmosphere he gave off even at this distance; there was a certain kind of... grief in his looks. A kind of tiredness, like he'd seen too much too fast. Poor kid, Mithi thought genuinely, something in hir subconscious - maybe the fact ze'd been a parent once though ze didn't know it, or just that ze was much older than he looked - feeling quite sorry for him. No-one so young should have such a damn sad feeling about 'em. Wonder what his story is, anyway.
Realizing ze was staring, Mithi turned hir eyes away from the boy and back to the three who'd come through the portal, waiting to see if they'd respond to hir question.
