Riley looked at Nazo. " But Nazo, we're supposed to be doing this together." He said. Nazo looked back at him. " I'll be fine, by the time I'm done you'll probably be ready for the next memory. I'll catch up, there's just something I have to do here first." Riley looked at Shade, hoping for her to convince Nazo to let them stay. " Nazy is a big girl now, she can fight her own battles. Besides my memory is next, think of how much fun that will be!" Riley was terrified of what Shade memory had in store, but he knew it was no use running. Shade always caught him. He hugged Nazo. " Be careful." He then followed Shade through the door into the next memory. Nazo watched them leave before looking back. " Time to pay my creators a visit." She walked off back to her old chamber.
Through the next door awaited Shade's memory. Riley had every right to be terrified. The place was a lot like Riley's first memory, but at the same time very different. It looked liked they entered some void of some kind. Instead of the place being black and red like the last place, it was a dark purple. There seemed to be no ground, just a bunch ofmfloating rocks. The way the sky looked made the place seem like a vortex. There were many different monstrosities around the place. Shade looked around the place and laughed. " Now this is home!" She said. " Much better than Nazo's old place."
Just then a dragon appeared before them. It's body was like nothing ever seen. It didn't have normal scales like most dragons, or a normal body. It's scales had the reflection of countless different heads. Each scale reflected the image of a different head. It gave out a loud roar before lowing it's head next to Shade. Shade petted it. " Aw did my pet miss me?" She started rubbing it's head. " Mommy missed you too, yes she did." She turned to the others. " I want you to meet my old pet, Gerious. He was a gift from my... Riley? Riley where did you go?"
Riley was hiding behind Jennifer. He looked from behind her once he realized the dragon wasn't attacking. " Oh..."

Jason took one more glance back at Nazo before he was dragged through the next door by Jennifer. He quickly got back on his feet once they stopped and took stock of their surroundings, what little there appeared to be. Despite several creatures being within sight, he couldn't make any of them out clearly. He figured that is was probably for the best.
Jennifer barely made it through the door before she stumbled and nearly fell. The absence of Light was nearly a solid wall hitting her after the brightly lit city they had just come from. She steadied herself just as the strange dragon appeared, but she quickly gave up on trying to comprehend the exact nature of the beast to look for Riley. She found him directly behind her, hiding from the dragon. "Riley, you do realize that Jason and I don't stay still long enough in a fight to make a good wall right?"

Riley rubbed the back of his head as Jennifer told him her and Jason weren't good walls. " I knew that," he lied. " I was just.... making sure you didn't run of that's all." Shade shook her head. " Well I'm glad you're so brave Riley, because Gerious here is going to take us to the next memory." Riley looked back at the door. " What's that Nazo? Okay I'm coming! Sorry as much as I would love to come Nazo needs me." Riley tried to make a break for it but Shade cut him off. Shade picked Riley up and carried him over to the dragon despite his protests and squirming. " But don't we need to wait for Nazo? We can't leave her behind! We should wait here for her! We're not in that big a rush! Would you look at the time, it's pasted lunch! We should sit here and have a nice quite lunch!"
Shade shook her head as Gerious laid down. Shade placed Riley on top of the dragon. " Nazo can take care of herself. She's already killed those gods, besides I'm pretty sure I would be able to hear her too. You are right Riley it is time for lunch, brave boys need to eat don't they. It looks like a rough road ahead." Riley looked ahead of them at all the monsters and demons and other demonic creatures. " Is it too late to be a coward and not go?"
" Yes it is," Shade said tossing him a thin slice of pizza. She sat right behind him and wrapped her arms around him, sinking her fangs into his neck again. After draining some of his energy and fear she let his neck go, but didn't let go of him. She then looked at Jennifer and Jason. " Hop on now, if we stay here too long Riley might faint." If Riley had the energy he would have glared at her.

Jennifer and Jason shared a look as Shade grabbed Riley yet again. Neither one doubted his power, but they were starting to doubt his courage. In the end it didn't make much difference as long as he was there when it counted. Jennifer shrugged as she turned back to the odd dragon and gracefully mounted behind Shade. She was very worried about the next two floors, since the only ones left were hers and Jason's. She just hoped that everything would be alright.
Jason jumped up at the rear of the group just after Jennifer, but the area was affecting him some. His face showed signs of worry, though in truth he was terrified of what was about to happen. He had tried so hard to keep that part of him locked away, and it seemed that he was about to be forced to face it again.

Having some of his fear drained made Riley less afraid of what was to come. It was only now he realized the bigger problem for him. They came here to track down the keyblader, but his mother said Ren was also here. The keyblader had been a problem for Riley ever since his adventure with David and the others. Everytime he encountered her, she tried to take over his mind like she took over Ren's. There had to be a reason for this. Whenever he asked his mother what could be the reason she would always avoid the question. His father just said it was tied to his heritage, and that was all he could tell him. There was something they weren't telling him, he could feel it. He also had a feeling he would find out the hard way. He rubbed his neck when Shade finally let go. She drained a lot of his energy, too much in fact. " Shade I feel... funny." He said almost falling asleep.
Shade smiled. " Aww is my little Riley tired?" She asked. " You can sleep if you want, by the time you wake up we should be at the next door." Before she even finished Riley was fast asleep. Shade put her arms around him so he didn't fall off. She looked back to make sure Jennifer and Jason were on board. Afther making sure she turned back and apoke to Gerious in her native demonic language. At her command the dragon rose and started flying them through the void.
After sometime the door was in site. It was on a long floating rock. Shade commanded Gerious to land them there. After landing, Shade picked up the still sleeping Riley and carried him off over her shoulder. Good thing Riley was very light. She waited for Jennifer and Jason to get off. She looked at them. " Sorry my memory was so boring, but nothing much really happened until I met Nazy and Riley." She said. " One of you two is up next. So which will it be?" She then looked back where they came from to find Nazo flying to where they were. When Nazo landed they would find her armor was covered in blood, not her own. " So Nazy, how did it go?" Nazo just looked at Shade, then at the sleeping Riley, then back at Shade. " What did you do to him?"
" Me? I did nothing." Shade said. Nazo crossed her arms. " Alright alright fine. I may have gone a little over board with draining his energy. But I can't help it, it tastes too good." Nazo sighed and then looked at Jennifer and Jason. " Your memory is next right?"

Jason glanced at Jennifer and sighed, then stepped forward and nodded. “We should probably go through mine first. We’ll need to keep moving once we’re through, because I don’t know what would happen if the memory of a world’s heart is stolen while we’re in it.” He hesitated a moment as he gathered himself, then opened the door and went through.
The other side opened onto a paved street in a modern city, skyscrapers jutting into the sky blocking most of the view. The rest was clogged with smoke and fire, while the air was filled with sirens and screams. Barely visible in the distance were several Darkside Heartless, fighting against figures too far away to be seen, the only proof of their existence being streams of fire and boulders being launched toward the hulking creatures to little effect.
Jennifer shuddered as she joined Jason in the memory, recalling her own comparatively minor version of these events. “This is the Capital, isn't it? What were you doing here?” Jason looked around at the destruction and drew a shaky breath as he quietly answered. “I was here to kill the head of the Elemental Council. He was the one that caused the Dark clan to rebel fifty years ago, by manipulating the other members from the shadows. ” Jennifer recoiled as if struck, and he continued in the same tone. “I was the one that brought the first Heartless to the city, though I quickly lost control of them. Someone else, another Darkness user, took them and summoned the rest.”
Jennifer stood frozen in shock for a moment, processing what her friend had just said. He turned away in shame, fully expecting to be shunned once more. Instead, she hugged him from behind. “So that’s why you never told us where you were. You had no way of knowing what would happen, and yet you still let this eat at you all this time.” Tears stained the back of his armor as she continued. “Even if you had known, you aren't the same person anymore. You've become stronger and kinder, a better man in every way. Don’t dwell on what happened. Look to tomorrow and to what can be done to make it better.”

Shade and Nazo followed them to the next memory. Riley had told them their world was destroyed, but they were never told the details. Now it looked like they got to see it first hand. Shade didn't come from another world and Nazo didn't care if her world was still around or not. Still no one should have their world destroyed.
When questioned about this memory Jason revealed that he was the one who brought heartless into the world. " So that's why you've been acting differently," Shade said. Her eyes started glowing as she tried to read the auras in the area around them. She was really trying to ignore the problem, she was never good at cheering people up. Nazo looked at the area around them, then at Jason. She didn't know him that well, but Riley trusted him and considered him as a friend.
" You... can't let the past hold you back from the future," Nazo said. " Just because you used to be something in the past doesn't mean you'll always be that way. Look at me, I was created to kill everything. I used to hate everyone because I was used as a weapon of destruction. Now I'm best friends with Riley and married to Shade. I..... care about them. Shade used to just be a bully and now she's leader of the goddesses on our world. Even Riley has changed. He used to, and sometimes still does, doubt his power and ability. Now he's saving worlds and killing gods left and right. We're... here for you Jason. Let's get through this, all this together. Okay?" She wished Riley was awake, he was better at this then she was.

Jason stood perfectly still as the others tried to comfort him, eyes hidden by his bangs as he stared at the ruined street. Then he closed his eyes, raised his head, and did something he should have done two years ago.
He forgave himself, and left that person he once was behind him.
The sirens and screams flooded back into his hearing as he opened his eyes once more and gently pulled Jennifer’s arms from his chest as he turned back. She stiffened for a moment, thinking that he was rejecting her, but relaxed and smiled when she saw that his eyes shone with the crimson fire of resolve. He glanced at each of his companions briefly, nodding to Nazo as he did, than looked back to Jennifer. “You’re right, both of you. People can change, and I’m not an assassin anymore.” His voice was still quiet, but now held another note, resembling power hidden by a dark curtain. “Let’s-”
Jason cut off suddenly as the sirens abruptly ended. He looked up in alarm, eyes widening as he remembered what was to come. “We need to hurry. The sirens were destroyed about ten minutes before the world was. This way!” Without another word he sprinted toward the center of town, where a large park appeared to be largely untouched by the surrounding chaos.

Nazo smiled a bit as Jason accepted their words and forgave himself. She was glad she was able to help someone. There were more pressing matters at hand, as the sirens were destroyed. It seemed that their time was extremely limited after that checkpoint. Nazo flew low to the ground and quickly followed Jason. Shade was close behind still carrying Riley.
Riley was still fast asleep. Shade took entirely took much energy from him in the last memory. How long he would stay asleep was anyone's guess. Shade even tried shaking him a little, but he gave no response. She could still sense his aura, which meant he was dead. " We have to find the next door," Shade said. " I'd hate to find out what happens when the memory of a world being destroyed ends with us still in it."
