About the Character
Personality: M’Lyn is mostly cold and silent, someone who rarely talks casually with others. Usually, she’ll engage in conversation when something piques her interest or is for the sake of a mission, leaving all sorts of bonding with others aside. This makes her incredibly efficient and work-focused, making it her priority for a mission’s success or accomplishing a task. M’Lyn is also sharp-witted, able to come up with accurate conclusions, as well as being able to retort to any sort of jab headed her way. And yet despite this, M’Lyn has a noticeable inability to understand jokes or sarcasm at times, taking everything a bit too seriously or literally.M’Lyn is easy to anger, mostly perceived whenever a plan or a mission fails in any of its steps, or when someone messes up. Her anger is thankfully not triggered due to jokes, which might be a blessing in disguise, given that M’Lyn possesses quite a bit of force.
In the recent years, M’Lyn has been somewhat gotten used to acting a little more nonchalant, learning a little about not taking things too literally, and being slightly more open to others. She’ll protect those she holds in high esteem, no matter the obstacles. Given that Keepers of the Moon are very protective of their own family, M’Lyn follows in the tradition word by word, keeping those she holds close to her as safe as possible, yet not crossing the point of overprotection.
Character Appearance: M’Lyn stands at 5’6ft and weights around 130lbs. A rarity among Keepers of the Moon, she has slightly tan skin, and dark-blonde long hair, ears and tail. She wears facepaint in both cheeks, and ties her hair with a red ribbon loosely at almost the very end. Being a Keeper of the Moon, M’Lyn has sharp canine teeth, a noticeably thin tail and sharp-end ears.
She wears Miqo’te’s Adventurer gear, and nothing else worth noting.

- (THM) Thunder - Throws 3 electric orbs that hone into the enemy, dealing beginner thunder damage and also dealing beginner of damage overtime. Duration - 2 posts; Cooldown - 3 posts.
- (CNJ) Stone - Creates 3 stones that then hone into the enemy, dealing moderate earth damage. Cooldown - 3 posts.
- (CNJ) Medica - Restores a bit of HP to self and all allies. Cooldown - 3 posts.
- (ACN) Ruin II - Shoots 5 light bullets than hone onto an enemy, dealing heavy non-elemental damage. Cooldown - 5 posts
- (SCH) Lustrate – Heals a chosen ally for all of their health, while removing minor ailments that may have been inflicted. Cooldown – 5 posts.

- (GLA) Fast Blade - M'Lyn attacks with a sword with a series of slashes and swings, that gain more power as each hit connects, starting at beginner damage and capping at heavy. If the attack is blocked, parried or avoided during the attack, the power count is reset. Cooldown - 4 posts.
- (GLA) Interject – M’Lyn jumps with a shield in hand to immediately block an incoming attack of any kind directed to an ally. If the damage dealt by the attack is Heavy or larger, then the guard is broken, but the attack deals Moderate damage instead. Cooldown – 2 posts.
- (ARC) Heavy Shot - M'Lyn shoots a charged arrow that pierces most defenses while dealing heavy damage to a single enemy. Cooldown - 3 posts.
- (PGL) True Strike - M'Lyn closes in with a sliding kick and then attacks with her fist, dealing moderate damage. If the attack connects from the rear, dealing heavy damage instead. Cooldown - 3 posts.
- (NIN) Death Blossom - M'Lyn throws 5 daggers in front of her in a fan shape, which can hit multiple enemies, dealing moderate damage. Cooldown - 2 posts.
- (DNC) Bladeshower - With a pair of chakrams in hand, M'Lyn spins around, dealing damage to all nearby enemies. Cooldown - 3 posts.
- (DNC) En Avant – M’Lyn dashed forward quickly towards an enemy, dealing moderate damage two times to whatever enemy she dashes towards. Cooldown – 3 posts.
- (LNC) Impulse Drive - M'Lyn charges forward with a spear, knocking enemies backwards while dealing moderate damage. Cooldown - 2 posts.
- (WAR) Heavy Slam - M'Lyn uses a greatsword to first strike with a rising swing, dealing moderate damage, and then slamming the sword into the ground for additional moderate damage. The rising swing can hit airborne enemies. Cooldown - 2 posts.

(SCH) Eos - A small faerie comes to M’Lyn’s aid. Much like the Topaz Carbuncle, it’s agile and small, but does not gather aggro.

- Fey Blessing – Restores a large amount of health to nearby allies. Cooldown – 3 posts.
- Fey Illumination – Reduces the damage taken by all allies by a small amount, while also increasing any healing abilities’ potency. Duration – 2 posts, Cooldown – 5 posts.

Job Switch
M'Lyn's abilities depend on what weapon she currently has in hand. Given her versatility with her weaponry, changing abilities back and forth is no issue. Of course, changing them at every second ends up being exhausting.

Red Mage
A unique job able to execute both physical damage as well as magic damage. M’Lyn grabs a powerful rapier from her Technological Arsenal infused with Aether, which increases all of her stats for the duration of the style. Yet as powerful as the form may be, it has severe drawbacks. Duration – 4 posts; Cooldown – 10 posts (cooldown starts as soon as the form finishes)

• The post when the ability is used COUNTS towards the Mana count.
• The Mana count is reset whenever M’Lyn uses an ability that generates the opposite Mana Type, but the effects are IMMEDIATE.
• The more Mana of a type M’Lyn generates, the bigger the effects. That is to say, she’ll either restore more health, or deal more damage to herself.
Character Racial Abilities:
Being a cat-like race in the world of Eorzea, M'Lyn has sharper sense of hearing and vision, as well as increased agility and dexterity. In particular, being a Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te, M'Lyn has a little bit of night vision, but only up to a few meters ahead of her.
Likewise, she has a clear disdain for water, and will avoid swimming at all costs, yet if the situation requires it, she'll swim just fine.
Character Strengths: Having a lot of battle knowledge, M’Lyn can easily teach others how to fight to their best abilities. She’s also a quick-learner, whether it be for battle-related topics or anything else (except technology, for whatever reason).
Character Weaknesses: Lack of social interest, hard to work with at times and also can be a bit clueless.

- (RDM) Verfire – M’Lyn infuses the Aether in the rapier with Fire magic to deal immediate heavy fire damage to an enemy. Can be used from up-close or from a distance. Generates Black Mana. Cooldown – 3 posts.

- (RDM) Balance Gauge – During this form, M’Lyn will constantly gather either White Mana or Black Mana. After using an ability, either black or white particles will gather around M’Lyn, either restoring a little of her own health or dealing beginner damage to her. (Passive)

Character History
M'Lyn is a Miqo'te originating from Gridania, Eorzea, with her real name being Lynhye Nhade, a Miqo’te born within the Coeurlclaws. Refusing to follow their rules, she fled the bandits that were her “family” and leaving her past behind, becoming an Adventurer and finding refuge in a tribe of Seekers of the Sun. Once within their ranks, she chose to call herself Lyn of the Marmots, or “M’Lyn” for short.
While she originally intended to learn Thaumaturgy in Ul'dah, the place her new family lived in, M'Lyn was quick to learn different battle strategies from other Adventurers she interacted with, soon becoming a "Jack-of-all-Trades", and surprisingly, master of all. Because of this, plus her curious affinity to the Aetherflow thanks to the gift of "The Echo", she gained quite the bit of fame. At the same time, she was contacted by the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, who enlisted her help to defeat primals, with her first victory being over Ifrit, the Primal of Fire and Fury.
While she was entrusted with taking care of other business in the name of the Scions, as well as defeat the Primals that threatened against the balance of Eorzea, an unexpected event forced her out of her world of origin, and into an unknown one.
At first clueless and unsure on what to do, M'Lyn was quick to catch the attention of the people living in the world she'd arrived in, and was thought to be a menace, which led to her quick chase. Without any other option, M'Lyn had to fight back, but it was then when she met a member of the Twilight Brigade, who in turn saved her and invited her to their HQ. She impressed the Twilight Brigade with her vast battle prowess, and also her looks.
Thus M'Lyn was quick to join their ranks.
She was assigned to a sub-unit that specialized in travelling and gathering intel, as her interests were mainly finding a way back to Eorzea. She lends her team her power as a "Weaponmaster", helping with battles, infiltrations and struggles.
Strangely enough, M'Lyn has grown rather fond of her unit, despite her personality, and sees them as the family she never truly had.
