Eventually the cannonfodder waves ceased, leaving Serious Steve wanting as he also followed Viorella's gaze toward one of the rooftops. From their point of view it'd be harder to see against the black sky, but the miasma of dark energy could be felt once there were no longer any distractions. It roughly looked like a person, but after a moment the darkness seemed to wane and dissipated back into the Darkness from whence it came. "That one... was interesting," Viorella noted simply.
"Making friends as always~" Fasilli remarked, his gloved hand now wrapped in bandages.
Serious Steve Steved and hefted his mallet.
"No, that's fine. If what Hatty claims is true, I'd rather avoid the consequences of entire realms being torn asunder in your rampage," Viorella replied thoughtfully. "Still- the soul of that one is so... primeval. Felt like I was looking at The God of Death himself- I miss that actually," she continued so casually.
"Maybe once his assistant manager calms down, you can visit again. But this is most exciting, as I don't recall seeing or feeling something like that the last time I rolled through this pocket of the multiverses," Fasilli twirled his miccane. It was still in his mind a NPC, but one he had not met yet... which meant NEW STIMULATION!
Serious Steve Steved again.
"Yes yes you can go back now to brood," Fasilli waved him off, snapping his fingers and making a portal back to Steveland appear for the little terror to step through.

It had only been a moment, but the Vagabond had managed to also witness the specter who seemed to dissolve into nothingness upon the rooftop. The feeling of darkness was one they were familiar with, able to smell the familiar scent wafting along the lull current that waned throughout the evening.
"That one was...interesting." It had held Viorella and Fasilli's attention, though with both character's the hooded vagrant couldn't tell how deep their interest went—or for what purposes. "Felt like I was looking at the God of Death himself—I miss that, actually." The woman's comment caused the Vagabond to stagger. Such beings existed!? And they'd met them!?
Then again...it was well within the realm of possibility—considering...
If anything—it was to be expected.
"I don't recall seeing or feeling something like that the last time I rolled through this pocket..." Recovering himself while the masked performer reflected, the hooded vagrant shook his head in wonder. The mysterious figure...just how long had they been observing them? With the presence of the Behemoth and NeoShadows, their own visage had had the perfect 'cloak', so to speak...
"Maybe your tour has become popular?" Crossing their arms over their chest, the Vagabond shrugged, thinking aloud. Despite the Districts they'd explored being seemingly abandoned, there had been quite a bit of commotion that they'd all been causing on this world. In that sense, wouldn't it make sense for someone to pop in and want to investigate?
The dark presence the Vagabond had sensed from the short-lived figure on the rooftops hadn't caused them alarm. That would be too hypocritical, considering their own 'situation'. The researcher took time before making early judgements. Then again... They had run into quite the rare Heartless in this area, though—which throughout many of the Vagabond's journeys (or at least, the one's he could recall), certainly wasn't usual.
The question remained: had it been caused by their mysterious 'observer', or the proximity this world had with the darkness?
"Either way...I'm intrigued~ Meeting the two of you was good fortune. I knew something good would happen!"

"Normally most people feel the exact opposite- also usually followed by 'oh my god, this character is broken because I can't use more than two braincells to fight such an awesome dude,'" Fasilli rambled on for a moment, actually hovering slightly above the ground as he kept twirling his cane over his head.
"I enjoyed this meeting also," Viorella agreed, petting her new Wyvern as the few remaining tamed Heartless scurried over. "You also mentioned this world was always night?" She asked Fasilli.
"Correct, something about it being closer to the realm- world, plane of darkness- whatever you wanna call it. Just one of the multiverse mysteries- sounds almost like a world alignment chart if you ask me but this reminds me. There's another world I feel like you might enjoy visiting if nothing else to see the lord of the underworld of that one," Fasilli stopped twirling his cane and thus stopped levitating.
"There's others?" Viorella's eyes widened with surprise.
"Why yes! Kind of a sourpuss from what I hear not unlike Krukai except Krukai could be argued is a Lawful Neutral type. Hades is more of a... chaotic neutral? Ambitious definitely... anyway I think I should begin the contract work to get a summer home done here," Fasilli replied before pulling out a whistle and blowing it, another portal appearing and depositing... several Steves with construction hats, gasmasks and spears- and why were there bagpipes playing? There was also a white clad officer looking Steve.
"Scottish Structure Steph! Oh and Commander- I forget you exist frequently. I have a job for you all. Please build a castle suitable for any Dragomir Noble," Fasilli addressed a Steve with a little tuft of pink hair poking out from their hood. They Stephed in response which very clearly sounded more feminine in nature.
"I think blood fountains would be excessive and also probably not be a good first impression for the locals," Viorella replied. "I would still enjoy dark stone, red and... I'm feeling gold would be fine," Viorella added as Scottish Structure Steph started sacribbling on a clipboard. "Also some kind of garden or stables for exotic creatures," Viroella added once more. The bagpipes sound definitely seemed to be emanating from Steph.
The Commander in Steve Steved.
"To protect the work force of course- not that it matters since I went to extreme lengths to make death a mild inconvenience to you all. But still, the work will be slower if the workers keep getting sent back to Steveland. So make sure that doesn't happen," Fasilli explained and with that Scottish Steph Stephed, yelling at her workers who started to scurry off in a random direction alongside the gasmask wearing spearmen, and Commander Steve.
"Won't they need materials?" Viorella questioned.
"Trust in the process my dear- Steph will find a way. Speaking of finding a way- I grow bored of the lack of chaos. Shall we venture onwards? That invitation extends to you also my friend," Fasillia asked The Vagabond curiously.

"Normally most people feel the exact opposite—" The Vagabond chuckled at Fasilli's ramblings, though he could understand why some might be weary of the masked performer. Their powers were nothing to scoff at if you found yourself on the other end, after all.
"I enjoyed this meeting also," Viorella agreement affirmed the hooded man's take on events. Her questions about Traverse Town's constant state of nighttime caused the Vagabond's shrouded gaze to turn up to the stars. Noticing one of many seem to disappear as Fasilli elaborated, the vagrant felt that he had known some of this information, but wasn't sure from where...
Not for the first time, the conversation soon began to fly over the Vagabond's head—until they discussed 'lords of Underworlds'. That part of the conversation grabbed his attention. An Underworld lord probably deals with many fallen hearts... The hooded vagrant's self interest had been piqued, causing his hidden eyes to pull away from the stars and back to his new acquaintances.
"I grow bored of this lack of chaos. Shall we venture onwards?" Fasilli seemed to want to leave Traverse Town, the tour wrapped up somewhat prematurely. The invitation was tempting...as the Vagabond was sure that following these two would lead to something that could aid his research. This world's heart is curious...but it isn't going anywhere.
He could travel freely with his Dark Portals and something in the Vagabond's gut told him that following these two could lead to exciting adventures! "Thanks~ I'll come along." Flashing a 'peace sign' with his gloved hand, the Vagabond's smile would most likely go unnoticed due to the hood shrouding his face. Truthfully, he knew he'd been to many worlds...but he could only remember a few of them.
Maybe they'd go someplace new, or somewhere he'd forgotten that would help jog his memory!
