White held his breath as the lance charged towards Ivory. If it wasn't for Lance, Ivory might have been impaled. Instead it returned back to Lance's hand after retreating. Ivory had then gone and sent a shadow of Skull out of dark energy after him.
This raised an eyebrow from Skull. A shadow of himself. "How interesting." He said in boredom. This battle, to Skull, was becoming more annoying then anything else. He wanted these people to just die already. Currently Skull was limited to the abilities this body had. For the most part, all this body had was strength. He himself, had some abilities, but currently he was limited in this body. So, Skull decided to do something sneaky.
Skull, if Ivory remembered, was known to carry other fissures with him. He had two of them now. So this is what he did. Ignoring the shade, Skull gave control of his body to one of his children with the command to charge towards Ivory. He sent another of his children to charge towards the slow to get up golem. He command it to take her body. Meanwhile he would head towards Lance. However the point of this was to confuse the enemy. Which Skull was the real one?
It all happened at once. As Ivory summoned her shade, two shadows traveled down from behind the visor. They both shot off along the ground like a heartless does inside the floors. Skull and the fissure did the same. Skull, the body, charged towards the shade literally running through it despite the pain it must have caused. It continued towards Ivory, holding the same menace.
The fissure who went after Princess Leliana appeared out of the ground in front of her as she was slow to raise. With its back to Darius it quickly shot up, aiming to enter into the golem through the mouth. If someone was going to save her, it would have to be Darius.
White on the other hand was surprised by the move. He stepped back, leaving Lance to take on the oncoming fissure. He had no clue that Skull had fissures up his sleeve, or that the one in front of them was real. However as it rose from the ground, it took a much different appearance then what White was accustom to seeing in fissures. This one was very humanoid. Much more so then the one Smiles and Ivory had seen in the past. The fissure had very much a human physique, with the muscles, and shape of a human man. Something that was most likely supposed to be hair covered the head, and instead of ripped arms, the fissure had two pointed blades. The fissure had yellow eyes, the same as the other fissures. It moved with speed that was double the speed the body that Skull had. The two blades swung with that same speed and with the same surprising strength that the body of Skull carried. One was aimed at Lance's head, hoping to make the teen bring up his own Lance to block the attack. At the same time, the other blade arm shot forward with a swipe at Lance's chest.

Since Ivory had created a shade of Skull, it was meant to go after the one it took the form of. However, the technicality only went as far as the body appearance. The shade wouldn't know of the body control change. So, when the new fissure took over Skull's human body while he left his body behind, the shade intercepted the charging fissure that looked like Skull in his human body.
When it was crashed through, Ivory was left with no other choice. Skull just wasn't going to give her a reprieve. 'This doesn't look good!' she thought. Right now, she wasn't really able to fight much. Considering how fast Skull was moving, she had barely enough time to bring up the void spheres to circle her body. They wouldn't harm Skull but it would keep him from hurting her. In turn, she couldn't attack him. It would buy her time to get back and away from him.
While Ivory was busy trying to get away, Darius and Leliana were busy recovering from the surprise. Leliana was trying to get back up, Darius stood nearby as he had just barely moved aside to avoid her. As he was doing so, he saw something like a shadow coming. Having dropped his broadsword in his surprise and to allow him speed in flight, Darius extended a hand and called forth the keyblade. In his hand, his right hand, it appeared as it had in the between world. However, as soon as it had, it changed form.
The key end took on the form of a white dragon with it's maw open. The maw end making the key and teeth end of the keyblade. The rest was scaled and at the end where the handle was, the tail curled downward while a wing extended upward the other drooping so that it made the other half of the key end of the weapon. Color wise, the main body was white but the spikes were gold and the claws and teeth were silver. The eyes were bright blue. The weapon seemed to glow a little as if reflecting the inner light of Darius's heart but reverberated.
The weapon just seemed to work on its own by slashing at the fissure that just tried to enter Leliana's body.
Lance and White were definitely up the wrong creek. It looked like Skull had just split into two maybe three other beings. Before them appeared a fissure Lance was sure they had never seen before. It looked almost human and on the arms, it had blades. "Well, those don't look like any fun." No sooner had he said this, as White backed off much to Lance's confusion, Lance was under attack. Skull seemed to be making an attack for his head. Having been trained harshly by his grand uncle, he knew that despite this, he had to anticipate some other attack that might come if it were a feint.
Thus, he held his lance vertically, just saving himself from two nasty swipes. He was pretty damn surprised by the power packed behind the swipes though. Since he had brought his weapon up to protect himself and block the attacks, the power Skull had was enough to send him flying backward, his back skidding on the floor. The momentum at which he was going had sent him thirty feet away from where he had been last.

Three enemies, and only White, Lance, and Mr. Thomas knew about it. White was disturbed by the new fissure and realized that he was running away again. Seeing Lance block the powerful attacks and then get shot backward, White gathered his courage. He couldn't keep running away. He had to fight too. Using the opportunity as it presented himself, White attacked from the side. He expected the fissure to block his attacks, but instead White was surprised to see his attack actually hit!
But what he did not understand was that this was the real Skull. And the real Skull, thanks to Master Issac, was not at all in harms way. White's kantana, even though it was charged with electricity, went through the fissure like it was going into water. What was this? White's kantana actually felt like it was being repelled by some force, and the fissure didn't even seem like it was solid. But the blade that stabbed into White was very solid. It was a quick stab and retreat but one that left White falling to the ground. The fissure then turned to Lance. Disappearing below the ground it shot forward to rise behind Lance. However as it rose, it struck at Lance's feet, swinging both blade arms one after the other at Lance's feet.
The body of Skull paused as it came in front of Ivory, noticing the spheres revolving around her. Skull though wasn't going to just wait. Skull rushed over to Ivory and very quickly aimed a series of punches in one region. The hope was by continuing to attack with a punch equal to the strength of a moving truck, Skull hoped to punch a sphere long enough to destroy it.
The fissure that had came after Princess Leliana though had no chance. When Darius summoned his keyblade, it very easily sliced in half. Golem Princess looked over at Darius in surprise by his weapon. She even gave him a smile, finally coming back to her feet. Turning she looked to see two more enemies. One just stabbed White and was going after Lance! The other was Skull attacking Ivory! Looking over to Darius, Princess Leliana looked to see what he would do. She would go after the other opponent.

Man, had Lance slid for a wild ride! As he had slid, he didn't get to see what other things were going on until he finally came to a stop. When he did, Lance pulled himself up. As he did so, he was able to see White finally take the initiative to attack. What happened though was something Lance did not expect to happen. Instead of White's weapon actually going through, it did but then Skull's body seemed to absorb it like White might've stabbed through water. Skull didn't even appear to be harmed in the least before he had stabbed White!
"NO!" Lance exclaimed as White fell. First Justice and now a long lost cousin? This wasn't fair at all! Then again, life was never fair. He soon realized that as Skull came up from behind. The hairs on the back of his neck immediately prickled. Knowing something had appeared behind him, Lance summoned the ancient armor his ancestor always wore. However, the armor where it gave him protection, did not protect him completely. The swipes still managed to cut into the armor itself. When it did, it left a nasty cut on Lance's right calf, the left one's armor being severely scratched but not cut into like the right one's which had been closer to the swings. Wincing, Lance fell forward and allowed himself to roll. When he rolled, he turned so that he was able to face Skull as he landed on one knee. If his father fought Skull before like he claimed, Lance could easily see that his father hadn't an easy job of it.
Forming a whirlwind around his lance, Lance sent forth a tiny gust of wind no taller than five feet high over at Skull. A miniature tornado that did not have the strength to pull someone into it but the strength to blast someone backward if it made contact.
Darius watched the fissure get sliced in two as if it were butter. It was a small fry so he wasn't surprised. Even still, he had yet to see just how much damage a keyblade would do to the real Skull. The problem was figuring out which one to attack. After seeing Leliana recover from her fall, she looked surprised about the fissure and did not expect to see what Darius had just done. In fact, she was looking at the keyblade in surprise. Registering what she was seeing, Leliana smiled and Darius returned it before turning back to the skirmishes going on around them.
Darius found himself torn between which way he should go. Lance and White really looked like they needed help. Ivory, she didn't seem to be in as much danger as the others. She had some sort of spheres circling her, protecting her from Skull. However, it wouldn't be long for him to penetrate through the spheres. As long as he hammered on one, he'd be able to weaken her protection a bit. Ivory knew this and was doing her best to retreat while Skull attacked one sphere. 'Damn broken arm!' she thought as she felt a piercing pain in the arm when she ran. Well, tried to. She could move almost to a run but not full out. Her body still hurt from the attack that Skull had made.
Thankfully, Darius knew that Leliana was back up. Whoever he went to aid, she would aid the other group. It seemed as if she were waiting to see where he would go. With his new weapon out, and his older brother protective instincts coming to fruition, Darius charged after the one that was attacking Ivory's spheres.

The body of Skull was easily able to keep up with Ivory's run and since he broke into a run as well, his fists hammered in harder then before continuing to bash against them in the very exact same spot. The fissure had no idea that Darius had decided to help his sister. It knew though that as long as it remained in this body, its strength was pretty much unlimited. For the most part anyway.
While Skull's body continued to hammer on, Princess Leliana ran over towards Lance, White, and the silently watching Mr. Thomas. Skull the fissure, focused on Lance, watched him roll after the attack and send a mini whirlwind after him. In the same fashion that White's kantana had simply slipped through Skull, so too did the whirlwind. Instead of blowing him back like it should have, It moved through Skulls body like water, letting him move past it as he glided across the floor over to Lance. The two blades come on again, one aimed in a forward over the shoulder slash while the other shot forward in a straight forward stab.
It was just after this attack that Princess Leliana came rushing over. Weary of the fissure trying to take over her body again. Princess Leliana sent punched the ground to the side of the fissure, hoping to throw it off after its attacks. Sadly she had arrived to late onto the scene. Her attack would have not stopped the fissure's attacks on Lance.
Mr. Thomas had rushed over to White. For once White was surprised to see him do something. "Can't have a....friend.... dying." Mr. Thomas said. White, who was bleeding from the wound in his lower abdomen, really didn't have much to say. Mr. Thomas gathered energy by rubbing his palm together.
Lakari, while he did indeed dabble in many powerful magics and techniques, did have the healing skills that the majority of elf mages had. They could do the basic cure and heal spells. Though he would have rather watched the man die, he still needed him. Healing White took only a small portion of his energy. After it was done, White was slow to rise but he felt a lot better.
"Thanks Mr. Thomas!" White said. Glancing over to his right he watched Lance and golem Leliana attack another fissure, while Darius charged towards Ivory and Skull. Who should he go help?
Mr. Thomas looked over to Darius. "That's the wrong one... Darius has summoned a keyblade, but it wont do the amount of damage he hopes to against a human body. That's the thing about keyblades of light. They weren't made to kill humans."
White was shocked to see that Darius had a keyblade! Well good for him! He was happy for his friend. But if what Mr. Thomas was saying was right, then Darius might need help. Snatching up his kantana he ran over towards Ivory and Darius.
Lakari watched this all. He had done mostly nothing in this battle. No one had tried to attack him really either. Well that was probably because he had yet to attack. At the moment his opinion still had not changed. He would wait to see even if he was needed. And if not... well.... he could always kill some of these people.

Ivory felt dread as she tried to get away from Skull. He kept coming at her, refusing to let her have a break. As she went, she didn't see her brother coming over to rescue her. 'Damn it all!' she thought, looking over at Skull who was beating away at one sphere. As she did so, she spotted Darius coming over and what he had in his hand surprised her. He had a keyblade!
As Darius reached where Skull was, he knew that the thing was a fissure inside of a human body. He'd have to somehow get at the fissure within. That, of course, won't be an easy task. As he came up to Skull's body's back turned to him, Darius took aim and slashed at the man's back. "Leave her alone!" he growled.
Lance was shocked to see the whirlwind he sent at the fissure go through him as if it were nothing. How were you to attack an enemy that did that? There was no stopping it and now, Lance had to wonder if this was the real Skull. The fissure looked like a wraith or something as he glided over the floor past the attack Lance had unleashed toward him. Lance could only look on in frustration. How was he to stop this fiend?
Then, attacks were being sent his way again. This was definitely no easy battle. Everyone was being separated and attacked left and right. Would any of them come out of it alive? Since he wasn't able to move fast enough, Rowen channeled through him to protect him. Bringing up the force field Rowen was known for back in the day, he shielded the youth from the deadly attacks. "Ah, ah ah~! No killing my descendants while I'm around!" came the ancestor's voice. Skull would probably be surprised to see Lance's appearance change from the one he had to someone with darker colored blue hair and bright blue eyes.

White ran over towards the body of Skull, but not before Darius reached the enemy and slashed at his back. The attack hit as much as White's kantana had before. It even cut into the enemy. But it did not slow Skull. Instead Skull dropped to one knee and sent out both of his fists with such power that the air around it made a sound with how quick and precise the punches were. Both were aimed at the enemies near him. His right struck towards Ivory's chest, where an orb was revolving, the other towards Darius's chest.
Reaching the scene, White brought his kantana down in a swing towards Skull's shoulder. White hadn't had time to see if Darius's had dodged Skulls punch or if Ivory's orbs had stood up to his attack. He put all his force into the over shoulder attack. Skull though did not dodge the blow. White's kantana had sliced and cut into the shoulder of the fissure. However Skull wasn't done yet. He suddenly charged into White in a tackle that took White's breaths away.
Skull's body on top of him, the fissure tried to rise its arm to punch him and for once White's luck had not run out. With the kantana lodged into Skull he couldn't move that arm to attack. However he still had his other arm. It came up to punch White with strength that could probably crush his face. And White had no weapon or no way out of such an attack.
Meanwhile, the actual Skull was brought to slight confusion at the sudden change in Lance. It didn't last long, but it was enough of a distraction for Princess Leliana to send a golem sized fist again at the enemy. However just before it hit, Skull disappeared into the floor and shot underneath the Princess. Coming up, its arms changed from two straight blades to two long curved hooks. Skull shot upward and hooked its arms in-between the plates of rock that made up the golem. Pulling down with the same strength that the body of Skull had, Princess Leliana screamed as the rock peeled from her body. Her form suddenly changed back to a human and Lakari raised an eyebrow at the sight of Princess Leliana's skin having actually been peeled of of her back. Red muscle and blood flowed from the grotesque wound, and Skull withdrew the hooks.
Glancing over to Rowen / Lance, it's arms changed to two large war hammers. Gliding over towards Rowen / Lance, it sent hammer arm after hammer arm to try and pulverize the shield that had formed around him.
Lakari sighed. This was getting to be too long. Perhaps it was time he actually did something. Very calmly, Lakari walked over towards White, Ivory, and Darius. As the body of the fissure tackled White, Lakari walked next to it. He simply placed his hand on the body of Skull and the body of Skull suddenly let out a scream. A drastic change overcame the body as the youth was literally sucked right out of the body and into, Lakari. Skull's body tried to shake Lakari's hold, but he already had his grip tight on the shoulder of Skull. The youth drained from Skull and left nothing but an old man with shriveled bones and skin in its wake.

Darius watched as the weapon cut into Skull's body. Oddly enough, that still hadn't stopped Skull. Skull bent to one knee and then struck. He aimed a powerful punch at an orb revolving before Ivory's chest and one at Darius's own chest. Ivory fell back out of her own surprise from the way Skull had hit the orb. It was almost akin to watching a wild animal through a thick glass wall only for the animal to attack it all of a sudden. The orb had been destroyed but Skull was soon busy with the arrival of White.
Darius, whom had made the attack to distract Skull, made to jump back but Skull had hit him hard. Thankfully, the chest plate in that area was thick. However, that didn't mean he was unscathed as he was sent flying backwards into the air at about fifteen feet. When he landed in a heap, Darius coughed and spluttered. That attack had been enough to knock the wind out of him. While he was busy recovering, Skull turned his focus on White and tackled him.
Ivory was having difficulty getting back to her feet. She had landed on her left side and since her left arm was broken, she was having a lot of difficulty shifting her wait without almost screaming in pain. 'I can't get up! she thought, the piercing pain in her left arm preventing her making much movement. Ivory had seen White attack Skull and Skull retaliate by tackling him. No doubt, that wasn't a good sign. She tried to roll over the opposite way but it just sent another shot up her arm of pain, making her stop abruptly to take a moment to recover from the extreme pain. She felt pathetic in this fight.
Luckily for White, Mr. Thomas had arrived on the scene. Ivory though, knew him to be Lakari though so she didn't trust the elf any even if he seemed to be working with them. What Lakari did to Skull though was shocking. She had managed to look over and saw Skull had been gripped by the shoulder. At first, nothing appeared to happen and then, all of a sudden, Skull's body changed. Instead of the youthful look he had, he now resembled a very fragile old man. Nothing but skin and bones was left on White.
Darius by this time, had finally recovered from having the wind knocked out of him. There was a nasty bruise on his chest and there was a dent in his armor where he had been hit. "Alright, Mr. Thomas!" Darius stated.
On the other end, things weren't going too well. Leliana had just received a very, very nasty wound. Having seen it, Rowen winced. There was no telling if anyone could manage to seal a wound as nasty as that one. Focusing on Skull, Rowen saw the fissure's hands had changed form into large looking hammers. "Oh joy, he's trying to get us hammered!" Rowen stated. Lance, whom had been watching the whole thing, nearly had a heart attack.
Seeing what Skull was trying to do, Rowen started running out of range. As he did so, he summoned his bow and arrow. A weapon that hadn't been seen for two hundred years. Stringing an arrow, the projectile began to glow with light. Behind Rowen appeared ten more arrows that glowed the same light. Pulling the arrow back, Rowen let it loose and as he did so, so had the other arrows.

Lakari sighed and White looked up in shock at the sudden power of the elf. He had not known Mr. Thomas had such power! Why hadn't he used it before?! Lakari roundhouse kicked Skull's frail head and knocked it right off!
White found blood spluttering all over him from the sudden decapitation. Shoving the body off of him, White was stunned. Was this is it? Did they kill Skull? Backing off, White watched a fissure form but to his surprise it was the typical fissure that they were all accustom to seeing. It was not the fissure Ivory would know was Skull.
On the other hand, as the real Skull flew towards Rowen as ten glowing arrows appeared behind him. The rush of arrows as Rowen let go of the attack all flew towards Skull. He did not try to dodge, as was beginning to become ritual the arrows all passed through him as if he was nothing more then a ghost. If one looked further they would see that in reality Skull's wraith like body actually did become transparent when the attacks came through, and solidified after they passed.
Continuing on towards Rowen, Skull suddenly came to a stop as the body of Skull's head came off. The wraith let out a screech like none other that White had ever heard before. It made him turn his head towards Lance and Princess Leliana. Spotting the wraith he then knew that it had to be Skull. The wraith fell into the ground, the same way a heartless does when it travels on the ground.
White watched as the fissure's shadow grew twice its size on the ground and as it sprouted from the ground its appearance had changed. There was now, no doubt a very human like appearance. Skull now wore what looked now like a true monster. Skull could only be compared to the skeleton of some sort of creature. It was no creature White had ever seen, and it was made of the same dark material that made all the fissures. But it now had a more physical appearance. With two skeleton like wings, two hammers for hands, four animal like skeleton legs, a skeleton human torso, and a skeleton human head, the fissure let out another painful screech as it charged towards Darius, White, Mr. Thomas, and Ivory. Its hammer arms transformed to six black tentacle arms that all charged in unison towards them. They came with the same power and speed as the other attacks.
White being on the ground, didn't know how he was going to block the attack. Lucky for him he didn't have to. Lakari rose his hand and a barrier wall extended in front of himself, Darius, Ivory, and White. It did more then just block the attack, it sent the tentacles back towards Skull and caused him to get thrown back.
Letting the barriers drop, White watched the fissure quickly get back to its feet. Mr. Thomas turned towards Darius. "We might be needing that keyblade weapon of yours."

Ivory and Darius watched in shock as Mr. Thomas/Lakari kicked off Skull's head. It had been surprising to see just how much power Lakari had. Ivory knew that if he turned on them, they would be in for a lot of trouble. As it already was, they had too much trouble with just Skull alone. If Lakari decided to give them trouble after Skull was finished, if they finished him, they might as well just throw in the towel and die instead. As Lakari had eliminated Skull's body, a loud screech brought everyone's attention toward the remaining fissure. Ivory knew that it had to be Skull but he had changed a lot since the time she and Smiles had seen him in those worlds that let you go back in time.
It had been a lucky thing for Lance/Rowen and Leliana when Skull's attention was taken off of them. Skull sunk into the ground leaving them behind. When he had, Rowen/Lance went to where Leliana was. "Leliana? Are you able to hang in there?" he asked her. He hadn't any healing abilities. Rowen and Lance couldn't heal anyone with such an injury. Lance half considered trying to cover the wound up but thought it would just jeopardize her health if he did so. After all, her muscle was exposed on the back. Foreign particles and germs could easily get in and infect her.
Skull focused on Ivory, Darius and Mr. Thomas. Going after them, Skull seemed to have grown ten times his size. Instead of blade arms, he now developed tentacles of darkness and shot them out at the three. Ivory could do nothing but look on as the tentacles came flying their way. Darius wasn't sure how he was to block an attack like that. The only luck he'd have is to wish he would be able to dodge those in time and not get impaled by those things. Thankfully, none of them had to think on that since Mr. Thomas had figured that out for them all by putting up a barrier. The barrier was so strong, it caused the tentacles to bounce off from their own momentum and send Skull flying.
At this time, Ivory had gotten back to her feet after much struggling. As Lakari dropped the barrier, Skull quickly got back to his feet. Ivory despised the thing for what it had done to Smiles. She also despised it for the cruel things that it had done to numbers besides them. The fissures had to be stopped. However, how could they even hope to kill it? Looking over at Darius, it looked like it was all up to his new weapon. Maybe a keyblade, since one keyblade had made Skull, would make a difference? If not, they were as good as dead here.
When Mr. Thomas spoke to him, Darius tightened his grip on the keyblade, focused on Skull as he recovered from the fall he received. "Might? Try we will need it." He wondered what options to take here. Ivory had dismissed her void spheres, no longer needing their protection but also unable to keep the spheres up for any longer.
"Be careful, Darius. I don't want to lose you too."
Darius glanced over at Ivory. "Don't worry, if I do die, I'll take that thing with me." Turning his attention back toward Skull, Darius spoke to Mr. Thomas and White. "I need to get in close enough to strike him without him impaling me before I am able to. We need to be careful though. One wrong move and we're all screwed. Don't die on me guys and do your best." With that, Darius circled off to the side, holding his the keyblade. He was no keyblade master but the weapon seemed to have a life of its own. It had been directing him a bit.

White was surprised by Mr. Thomas's abilities too. Watching the fissure get thrown off its feet sent a thrill of excitement into him. They might actually win this thing! He had not seen what had happened to Princess Leliana and Lance / Rowen. Currently Princess Leliana was out cold from the pain Skull had caused. There was no way that she could hear Rowen's concern.
Listening to Darius, White nodded. They would definitely need that weapon he had! Darius was the only one who had such a strong weapon. Feeling the dragon blood in his vain pulse through him, White summoned electricity around him. The electricity this time was much more strong then before. It once again took the form of a dragon pulsing around him.
Ivory was injured, White could see. She wasn't going to be helpful in this. "I'll charge in first. Draw his attention. Mr. Thomas can you make sure he doesn't succeed in pulverizing me while I draw its attention. Then you attack once I get his attention."
Lakari, nodded in response. He'd help the white haired boy he guessed. He had a move up his sleeve, but he didn't plan to play it just yet. He'd wait till Skull was finished.
Getting the answers he needed, White was ready. He was scared, but he trusted his friends. He had no reasons to mistrust Mr. Thomas. Not after him blocking the attacks of the fissure. Skull was already making another charge towards them. There was no time to be scared. White went ahead and charged. The electric dragon around him giving him additional speed and strength. Letting out a screaming battle cry of his own, the electric dragon let out a real dragon roar as it had back in the Deep Jungle.
White swung his sword before he reached the enemy, and the electric dragon in front of him rushed forward. To White's credit the attack hit. In this form Skull could not go through an attack. However it did little damage to him with his full form. It made him pause for a second as the tenticles rose and charged towards White. Lakari was there to stop the attack forming a barrier. Once again the attack rebounded and knocked Skull off its feet again. This gave Darius is opening to attack.

Rowen cursed under his breath when he received no reply. The pain had knocked Leliana unconscious. Well, at least right now she was out cold and not feeling it. The wound was truly nasty to look at. How they were to mend something that grim, Rowen/Lance wasn't even sure. Looking over at where Skull had gone, it seemed the others had finally found a turning point to bring everything into their favor now. Rowen/Lance truly hoped so. Lance was no keyblade wielder and knew that he wouldn't be of much help in this fight. Right now, his heart was hoping that they could defeat Skull once and for all. It would allow him some peace of mind knowing that his mother's killer was dead. Pity White and he couldn't kill the one responsible for Justice's death.
Remaining put, Rowen/Lance stood between Leliana and the commotion before them. He would protect them both from the danger. Leliana couldn't protect herself in this situation and Lance knew that White would want her safe. So, he would keep himself positioned here until she was taken to a safer place.
Ivory knew she was of no help in this fight. Mr. Thomas, White and Darius seemed like they'd be able to handle this. At least, she really hoped so. Otherwise, they were all as good as dead. Since Skull was so focused on them, Ivory wondered what became of the girl and Lance. She hadn't seen them make anymore attempts on attacking Skull. Was that a bad sign? Maybe they needed healing? Ivory couldn't heal serious injuries well but she could at least give some reprieve from whatever injuries they might have.
So, while White, Mr. Thomas and Darius went on the offensive, Ivory carefully ran around the whole battle area and headed over to where she could see...well, that certainly wasn't Lance. He looked like him but his hair was darker and his eyes were a bright blue, not a hazel. Lying on the floor was the girl she had seen in Enchanted Domain. As she neared them, Ivory's stomach gave a turn at the sight of her injury. Her skin in the back region had been peeled off to expose the muscle underneath it. Ivory couldn't help but let out a gasp at the sight of it.
It was then that Rowen/Lance took notice of Ivory. "Yeah, she's in bad shape. I can't heal her so I'm not sure what to do except make sure she doesn't get hurt." Ivory gave a nod as she came up closer, bending down on one knee next to Leliana's unconscious figure. The poor girl, such a nasty wound!
"I can't heal serious wounds like this but...I can provide some healing at the very least though it won't be mended as well as someone with greater healing skill." Rowen/Lance gave a nod, acknowledging that he had heard and was okay with her doing that. His eyes wandered towards the battle, his expression grim as he had no choice but to look on and just protect the women. 'You know, Lance, you really should consider yourself lucky. Your friends are fighting while you get to be with the girls~!' Rowen teased Lance mentally. Lance was utterly appalled by the perverted nature his ancestor had. 'You're sick!' had come his response, Rowen just smirking slightly in response at that.
Darius looked to White when he spoke. He would be the distraction to let Darius in closer. Once White had his attention, Darius would attack. "Alright, sounds good. Just don't get creamed!" he replied. Watching White charge up and then rush at Skull, Darius, whom had circled to the side, was sure to keep a low profile. He moved slowly so as to not make sudden movements like White was doing. Once Skull would focus on White, Darius would get in closer.
Sure enough, White's plan seemed to be working. Before White reached Skull, he had swung his sword at him. When he did, an electrical dragon ran right for Skull. The attack had even hit but the damage didn't appear to be all that big. Darius felt uncertain but knew they had to try something. While Skull tried to attack White, Lakari had thrown up his barrier again, causing Skull to go flying backwards once more. When he had, Darius saw his opening. The fissure was down and would take some time to get back up, no doubt. So, that' when Darius had hurried over. He had been gradually getting closer to the fray from the side anyways. Now that he had this chance, Darius wasn't going to blow it. Coming up to where Skull was, Darius leapt at the fissure and stabbed downward, the keyblade glowing brightly with light as if it sensed what it was about to do.

Artemis watched the battle and was with Ivory the entire time. He tried to give her advice when she needed it, but for the most part she was alright. Her arm was probably broken, but that could be mended with time. Skull was still alive, and fighting as well, but things were looking better. Coming around, Artemis saw the damage that was done to the Princess. That wound really was nasty! Any help was better then no help though!
However what caught Artemis's eyes was the person who stood where Lance was. There was no doubt in his mind who that was! "Ivory! I need you to let me take over your voice for a moment. I need to speak to that man directly!"
Skull on the other hand had realized the keyblade, but too late. His eyes widened as Darius leaped and attempted to do a downward strike against Skull. Watching, White watched the keyblade strike the fissure, and the creature let out another screech. Was this it?! Was it finally going to die?!
The keyblade did not kill Skull. However the attack that Darius used did do something that only a keyblade could do. With the strike, and Skull not being able to make his body transparent in this form to dodge the attack. The keyblade struck, and Skull quickly disappeared into the ground. Coming up a few feet away, gone was the grotesque form, and the fissure was once again back to the form that it had appeared in the past. It lost much of its human forms, and instead simply appeared as a more humanoid like creature with yellow eyes.
Skull was not done yet though. It had lost the strength, but it was not going down without a fight. Skull ran towards Darius, its arms forming into sharp claws. Going on straight offense, it struck swipe after swipe, trying to not let Darius get in an attack. White charged from behind the enemy, aiming a swipe at the enemy's back as it was busy trying to attack Darius.

Ivory knew her arm was broken. It gave her terrible pain every time she tried to move it. Not only that but it just dangled at her side while a part of the arm seemed to bend awkwardly outward to indicate a broken bone. It hadn't broken through the skin though. When she reached where Leliana lay, Ivory had bent down to do her best to heal the girl. Extending out a hand to her, Ivory's hand became engulfed with a shroud of dark energy. It wouldn't harm Leliana though as she touched her with the hand. When she did, the dark energy engulfed the injury.
Watching the dark energy work on Leliana, she could see that where the attempt wasn't the best, it was enough to help heal the girl some. In fact, some skin had formed, connecting to the opposite side. However, it wasn't fully healed. The injury still bled in some areas where her healing couldn't prevail considering how more extensive the healing process needed to be in those areas. 'At least I did something. I was feeling helpless,' she thought to herself.
Her thoughts were then interrupted by Artemis. As he spoke, she blinked to look over at the mysterious man standing there. He couldn't be the keyblade master from before. His hair was too dark of a blue to be him and his eyes were different. Being the observant type, Ivory was able to tell these differences. That and the attire was completely different. For one, this guy was wearing armor and not a black cloak. Artemis was requesting to use her voice to speak to this man directly. Confused about what his reasons could be, Ivory complied. 'Er...alright.'
Meanwhile, with White, Darius and Lakari it seemed things were turning up for the better. As Skull had been knocked off his feet, Darius went in for the strike. It was to no surprise of Darius's when the initial strike hadn't killed the fissure right off the bat. Skull was too strong before Darius had hit him. So, Skull would've survived the first strike. That was what Darius had figured but never the less, he went ahead with the strike. The weaker the enemy was for them, the better.
As he had landed his hit on Skull, the fissure let out a screech. Darius wondered if he was going to be almost deaf once this battle was through. He watched as Skull sunk into the ground again like a Heartless. Seeing it move a ways away from them, Darius could now see it come up in a different form. Where Ivory would've recognized this as the original Skull in the past, Darius wouldn't. All that mattered to him right now was getting rid of Skull once and for all.
Skull appeared to be of the same thought except he wanted to eliminate Darius. Forming claws, Skull rushed at him and swiped repeatedly. All Darius could do was get thrown into the defensive. After having received a slice across the helmet, Darius did his best to block the swipes. He didn't get every single one though and was eventually scratched here and there. He hadn't time to see what White was doing as he did his best to try and get away from Skull's onslaught.

Artemis took control over Ivory. Having his own voice Lakari could not change Ivory's. She would carry the same sort of tone that he carried with what he said, but not his own voice. He knew that Rowen would not now he was here, but what he was going to say should show Rowen that someone else was speaking besides Ivory. "We cannot let Lakari leave. Sain would not want that and neither would Red. I think he will go after you. Be ready. But do not draw him out of his illusion to the others. Wait for him to make the move." That was all Artemis had to say. It felt weird controlling Ivory's voice, but Artemis felt it important that they not break Lakari's illusion to the others. To Ivory he said, "I think your right. If we call him out he'll attack us. We won't be ready for an another battle after this. But if he goes after one of us, we need to be ready."[/i]
White on the other hand was ready for this battle to be over already! He brought his kantana down in another over the shoulder slash. His kantana sliced into the fissure and it forced Skull to quickly pivot to dodge the rest of the attack. However the kantana had done real damage and had made Skull stop his attack on Darius. Now Darius had an opening to attack!

It was odd for Ivory to feel her lips moving but not of her own accord. They were being controlled by Artemis as he used her voice to speak out to the man before them. She could do nothing but watch, gazing at the man as he had turned to look at her in surprise. Her voice was still the same but her words were not her own. There was a sign of confusion on the man's face before a gleam of recognition showed. By the sound of it, Artemis knew him and it looked like he knew Artemis.
"Well, your words sound familiar...but your voice and appearance are not what one would expect..." Rowen trailed off, giving Ivory a once over. Yes, he was fairly certain there wasn't anything to give him any indication of who he was speaking to. No doubt, someone he knew during his time. It couldn't possibly be Jean though. Jean refused to channel through the living stating that she had no business meddling with their time. "Anyways, yeah, I figured he'd be up to something after. I don't trust backstabbers. We'll be on the look out."
Ivory heard Artemis respond to her then. 'I just want all of the fighting to end, I'm tired of it all.'
Then, on the other end where the battle was raging, White got in for a strike. When he did, he had cut into the fissure but forced him to pivot to avoid the rest of the attack. That left an opening for Darius. Seeing this, Darius reacted quickly and brought the keyblade up with a forward stab at it.

The attack struck true as only a keyblade could against a creature like Skull. The keyblade stabbed into Skull and Skull felt pain. So great was the pain that it took his breath away. The keyblade that had been stabbed into Skull caused something like blood to flow from the creature. It was not red, but black and leaked from Skull like any wound would.
White watched Skull's yellow eyes grow once more and real pain showed on his face. Way to go Darius! He had done it! They had done it! Was this finally it then? Was Skull finally going to die?!
Skull tilted its head as it fell to one knee struggling to remain standing. Looking up at Darius it spoke, the first time without a human body. The voice it carried was a boy's. "I just wanted.... to be whole... like everyone else." The pain was finally too much and Skull fell to the ground, a keyblade sticking out of its back. Like all heartless did when they died, and even humans, Skull began to wither away as it finally disappeared into nothingness.
White glanced over at Darius, surprise on his face. They had done it! "It's over!" White said in relief. He couldn't believe that they had finally succeeded in stopping the fissure!
"Unfortunately not yet." Ten paces behind them, Lakari extended his hands, and White looked over in confusion as four barrier walls suddenly sprouted up around Darius, a fifth coming down on the top, trying to seal him in. Whether it did or not remained to be seen. But not a moment later, Lakari closed his hands into fists and random sections of the walls shot forward in the form of long square pillars at alarming speed. Lakari was trying to kill Darius the same way he had killed Sain so long ago.

Darius watched as the keyblade struck Skull. He had managed to stab into the creature. Oddly enough, some sort of odd substance leaked from the fissure. It reminded Darius of blood except that it wasn't the right color. Skull's eyes appeared and from what Darius could tell, he was in a lot of pain. Had they finally done it or did he have to make another strike? Watching the fissure carefully, Darius saw him go down on one knee, struggling to stand.
Eventually, Skull looked up at him and spoke in a voice that Darius was surprised to hear. It was the voice of a child. Skull had just wanted to be whole like everyone else. Where Darius felt some pity toward the creature, he didn't have enough for it to make him feel terrible about what he had done. The fissure had killed many people and hurt many people. It had even taken the life of Lance's own mother and killed many keybladers besides. The fissure had to be stopped and that's what they did.
As soon as Skull finished saying that, he fell to the floor with Darius's keyblade sticking out of his back. The body of the fissure withering away like any Heartless or Nobody would do. Making sure that it had been the real deal, Darius walked over and collected the keyblade before turning to White. There was surprise written all over his face and honestly, Darius was stricken too at their luck. They had done it! It was all over now! "About time!" he said with a smile.
Then, everything went downhill from there. Mr. Thomas had spoken. Confused, Darius turned to look over at him with furrowed eyebrows. What did he mean by that? Well, Darius found out soon enough. Walls had suddenly appeared surrounding him. As he looked up, a fifth one was coming down! Mr. Thomas was encasing him for some reason! Darius reacted only on instinct then. Leaping with all of his might, Darius felt the dragon's blood reacting to his moment of need. As he raised the keyblade, Darius began to glow white as a pillar of white light came surging downward to smash the top wall, creating a hole at least five feet in diameter.
Flying through this, Darius said a marvelous string of curse words. "Crazy son of a-!" he stated, landing on the ground and turning to see what would have happened if he had remained. "Run, White!" he exclaimed.
"Looks like our slippery friend has decided to attack," Rowen stated to Ivory and Artemis. Not waiting, Rowen headed toward the fray, eyes narrowed. Ivory got to her feet then and looked over at the scene.
'If you wish to seek revenge on him, Artemis, I will let you take control of my body for this moment. Just...don't get us killed, alright? We still have to figure out how to get you out of me so you can have your own separate life and body again.'

Lakari let out a chuckle, watching Dariius blast out of his Nightmare Cage. Twenty years really did make him sloppy. Announcing his attack! Bah he should have known better then that. Still it did make him let out a chuckle. Perhaps he should keep his word. He had said he wouldn't harm Lance's friends. Simply smiling, Lakari watched to see what they would do.
Artemis was more then happy to take his revenge. "I'll do what I can, but if things look dangerous I'm not going to put us in harm's way."[/i] Taking control, Ivory's whole body posture would change. Artemis stood with a slightly different posture then Ivory did. He was also a tad bit more graceful in his movements. Speaking through Ivory he said. "Let's go Rowen."
Being careful of Ivory's injured arm, Artemis dashed forward. His run was even different from Ivory's. He leaned slightly forward when he ran increasing his speed with just the arc of his body. Summoning Ivory's nagata in Ivory's working hand, he ran past a shocked back peddling White, and leaped into the air. Bringing the nagata around he stabbed it towards Lakari's chest. Continuing his rush he let himself actually slide between Lakari's feet, leaving an opening for Rowen if he was charging behind to attack.

As Darius landed, he looked back at Mr. Thomas. He was confused as to why he had just tried to kill him. Was it because of Arya? Had the elf hated them for Arya's death? He wasn't even sure how to explain this situation. The fact the guy was smiling disturbed Darius to no end. "What the hell was that for?!" Turning to White, who was back peddling, he saw Ivory and Lance wait no...Rowen coming their way. "Look out, White!" he exclaimed seeing as White had nearly gotten run over by them.
Ivory averted her pace and leapt into the air. Honestly, Darius was surprised to see his sister move so fluently. It didn't at all seem like something she'd do. Maybe he underestimated her? Then again, why didn't she do that earlier when Skull was still alive? It didn't make any sense to him. The fact Rowen was here too, channeling through Lance's body also puzzled Darius. While they attacked, Darius looked over at White then.
"Where's Leliana?"
Ivory took the backseat then as she permitted Artemis to take over her body. It was only right that he gets revenge for what Lakari had done to him. She knew that he had been severely angry at the memory and always was one to make himself known whenever he saw a hint of the elf. Ivory had felt bad learning that truth. Thus, she was letting him take over to allow him to get his revenge. Ivory knew that she'd want to do the same if she felt the way Artemis did. That and she didn't like the things she saw Lakari doing when she traveled with Smiles into the worlds that took you into the past. That elf had killed a child and was power hungry.
Ivory listened to Artemis as he spoke. What he said was enough for her. 'Alright, I believe you.' She did too. All the times he could have taken over her body, he hadn't. Where he sometimes teased the hell out of her, he had proved useful with advice he gave or things he knew of those they had seen during her travels. Watching from the background, Ivory herd him speak to Rowen, the man from earlier. Without further hesitation, Artemis had them dash forward. The run he had was different than her way of running. It was much swifter than what she was accustomed to. As he reached where Lakari was, Artemis leapt upward and came down with the naginata in attempts to stab at he elf's chest. Once he did that, he slipped through Lakari's legs.
Rowen, who had heard the other's beckoning, followed suite. Charging up an arrow, stringing it, Rowen waited for the black dragon armored figure to attack the elf. Once they did, Rowen came over to where White and Darius were, passing them and unleashing an arrow once the figure was out of the way.
