Arkyron walked through the doors of this place yet again. His heart responded to this place... He was supposed to be here... Somehow, his dreams were related to this place... But how? "Hello? Is anyone here?" he asked, aimlessly wandering. Dumb question. There was always someone here.

Arkyron didn't like the feeling his dark senses picked up from this person's presence. It wreaked of evil... Regardless, he had a sense of honor, and preferred to show even the most vile of people a degree of respect. "I'm Arkyron Drakos, but you may simply call me Arkyron. Tell me, what brings you here, Nathan?" Arkyron asked, curious, yet wary.

Arkyron didn't trust this person... He had a dark presence about his heart... "Well, for your information... I've come here searching for answers... I've been having... odd dreams lately... and I think this castle may hold the answers I seek..." he responded. He wasn't sure he should have said that, but nonetheless... If he spoke true... Arkyron needed any assistance he could get...

Arkyron took them into his hand. Cards? What good would these do in battle? He'd been here before, but still, never had anyone mentioned any cards... "Well... I'm sure for whatever purpose you're here, that it was indeed meant... However... If it's my trust you seek... You'll have to wait, as I'm a wary person..."

Arkyron nodded uneasily, and approached the door. He didn't trust this charactar at all... something wasn't right... Yet, he didn't really have anyone else to help him... Looked like he'd just have to rely on him... "Well... I guess I don't really have a choice but to trust you..." Arkyron said, accepting it reluctantly. He then held the card out to the door, and opened it. When he walked in, he was amazed... It was almost an exact replica of his home... "You... what kind of trickery is this!?" he demanded.

Arkyron nodded, and turned his head away somewhat embarrassed. "I apologize, as I've seen much betrayal lately... It's no fault of yours... Fine then, in we go," he declared. Walking into the light, he came upon a place he didn't know himself. All around, darkness abounded, and strange creatures, the Nobodies, arose. "Wha-... I don't remember this place at all... How... Oh... Xaynkror..." he said, trailing off.

Arkyron continued to walk through the dark abyss-like place. "Is this... Xaynkror's side of our memory? Is this his birth place, perhaps?" Arkyron wondered aloud.
"Who knows my name?" a voice, only too similar to his own sounded. "Who are you?" 'Xaynkror' approached, swords in hand. Arkyron knew this to be the Xaynkror from his memories, as he did not possess keyblades... Xaynkror stopped in front of him, blades drawn, and leapt into battle.
Arkyron deflected, yet found it hard to repel his memory. "Why is he stronger than me, though he doesn't have the keyblades?" he demanded. "Shade, I need your assistance!" he shouted, calling upon the card.

Arkyron hesitated. He didn't like this one bit... Shade seemed to know almost too much about this place... Nonetheless, he need his help, and leapt back into battle. He held onto the cards for now, saving them as a last resort. It didn't take long for that to happen, however, as 'Xaynkror' soon pinned him to the ground, forcing him to use them. He was concerned though... What memories could Shade have? They had to be powerful belonging to such a being...

Arkyron watched in amazement. This creature... It seemed to wield incredible power... He could feel it ebbing from its life force. This was what Shade had kept in store? It was... it was even more powerful than himself... It made him glad Shade was on his side.

Arkyron couldn't see much. There was a blinding flash from the creature's weapon, and then 'Xaynkror' was gone... Leaving a light. Stepping through, Arkyron found himself in another hallway, much like the entrance, except there was a stairway. He walked up them, and found himself at another door. Then, he pulled out another card. "Do... Do I dare unlock the secrets hidden further within my heart?" he thought aloud. He then thought for a moment, and couldn't decide... It scared him... Yet he fealt a need to go on...

Arkyron scowled a little, somewhat annoyed that Shade would dare interfere with his decision. Nonetheless, he needed Shade's help to get in or out... "Tread lightly, imp..." he retorted. "My trust with you is already shallow... I recommend you not push it..." At that, Arkyron turned to walk towards the card, watching shade closely out of the corner of his eye. Just what are you up to...? he wondered.

Arkyron stopped for a moment before he reached for the card. He thought about Shade's words... Was... Was Shade telling him everything? Or was he merely toying with his head? Did Shade want him to continue, or was Shade trying to aggravate him into a conflict. "What else do you know?" Arkyron demanded in a fierce tone. "I think you know not only about this place, but something about me even I don't know. Tell me, or let what little trust I have in you be wiped away! What is it you really want from me?"

Arkyron didn't take well to that. What if he was walking headlong into a trap? "Fine... just know that I'm watching your every move until you let me in on just what it is you want..." he retorted with venom. At that, he took the card and threw it at the door. When it opened, he stepped in. The room within was his homeland. He walked over to 'his father', hardly able to believe his eyes... Yet, soon, 'his father' disappeared altogether, along with the village... Soon, all that was left was the landscape... "No... What... What's going on?" he thought aloud. Then, he reluctantly took out Shade's card. "What is this!?" he demanded. As he did so, the room faded to complete white.

Arkyron looked at Shade, puzzled. "Insufficient memories...?" he thought aloud. "But... This is my home... I remember everything exactly the way it was... But... Still this happens... It looks like there are more puzzles to my past than even I can understand... Shade... I understand that once, experiments were done on memories of the heart in this castle by Organization XIII... Do you know what was found?" he asked. "Perhaps the answers we seek to this problem can be answered with their research..."

Arkyron hesitated a bit. Something didn't click right with his mind... Nonetheless, he ignored it, and pressed on. "Yes, we'll continue from here... but be warned, as I'm watching you closely..." he stated definitively. At first, he didn't see a way out, but then there was an unmarked door way. "Here's the exit..." he stated, walking out into yet another identical hallway. "Well, here we are... Yet another identical hallway... Or so it would seem... Something feels different about this one... There's a presence up ahead..."
And so there was. For as Arkyron found as he climbed the stairways, there stood Rukayron. "Well well well... Look what the cat dragged in! My goodie-goodie brother Arkyron!" he taunted, rearing his large broadsword. "I'm sorry to say I can't allow you two to go any further... Martieve's orders."
"MARTIEVE IS HERE!" Arkyron retorted. "TELL THAT SLIMEBALL TO SHOW HIS FACE! He has multiple debts to pay..." he said, running his right hand along the new scar on his arm. "What are you two doing here!?" he demanded.
"Now, where would be the fun in telling you that now?" Rukayron retorted snidely. "I'd rather just strike you down here, and let you find out the hard way." At that, his hair waved in the air a little bit, as large pillars of flame erupted around him, signaling the start of his usual battle routine. Only this time, Arkyron noticed, he not only enveloped his sword in flames, but in darkness. "Atleast you have a friend this time," he taunted. As Arkyron drew his keyblades, Rukayron lunged at Shade, hoping to catch him off guard.

Rukayron was easily caught off guard by Shade's onslaught. "You... you have those accursed things too!?" he exclaimed in surprise. "This should be very fun for me," he said, smirking. He then launched a volley of flames at Arkyron, who blew them aside with a gust of wind.
"Rukayron... Is this really what it's come to? You're my brother, and you want to kill me! How much sense does that make to you? And to your heart!?" Arkyron demanded, as he threw Fate's Crossing at him, hitting him square in the chest, knocking the breath out of him. "What happened to the Rukayron I used to know?"
"He accepted darkness as his existence," Rukayron retorted evily, vanishing through a dark portal.
Arkyron turned to Shade. "That wasn't as long, or climatic a fight as I thought it would be... Nor did I really accomplish anything... Are you okay though? I didn't see him hit you, but I wasn't sure... He's tricky like that sometimes..."

Arkyron hesitated, thinking for a moment. What other memories could Shade have? After that last one, he wasn't so sure... But, he didn't want to seem selfish... "Alright, we'll give your memories a shot..." he said with hesitation in his voice. Though you should tread carefully... he thought to himself, still not dismissing his keyblades out of a lack of trust.

Arkyron followed Shade shortly, somewhat uneasy. "This place... Is it Traverse Town? Or rather, your memories of it?" he asked. "It seems... different, somehow... I can't put my finger on it..." He walked further, starring at the sky. He sensed a large mass of darkness... The Heartless... "Can you feel that? The large amount of heartless here? There's a powerful one amongst them, rather than just the lackies..."

Arkyron was confused. "A... memory, of a memory?" he repeated. This castle only got stranger and stranger the deeper in you went... "So, you plan on confronting them with your own heartless?" he asked. "That's all fine and dandy... but what if they turn on you? It's not likely... but it's happened before... Once, my brother summoned a horde of heartless against me, and I turned them on him with my own dark abilities... It was actually funny."

Arkyron turned away for a moment. Is that what this is about? Darkness? Is he just another one of those people who try to persuade people into using the darkness? Arkyron wondered. "Yes... It's my blessing and my curse... It's saved my life, while claiming millions of others... I'm responsible for the destruction of innocent worlds... And I regret that I didn't have the wisdom and insight to stop myself..." he said with sorrow.
"But then... I met her... She... she showed me that I was more than that... She... showed me that I still had a heart... and a purpose. Because of one girl, the girl I love to this day, I was able to shed the control darkness had over me, while retaining its power for use in battle. Since then, I've only used the darkness in life or death situations... And to protect her..." he said, trailing off.
