Arkyron smiled, easily thinking dreamily of Hikari. "Well, after I shed the control of another man, who's heart is also steeped in darkness, over me I fled to The World That Never Was... There, she literally saved my life, and over time, erased the evil in my heart... Without her... There's little to no light within me... Actually... I'm going to propose to her soon..." Arkyron said. He wasn't sure why he was talking to Shade about this, but it felt good to let it out.

Arkyron took the card and smiled. "No card produced copy could take her place Shade. I'm not that shallow," he said, simply putting it in his pocket. "However, it could be a saving grace in the battles ahead... I'll just hold on to it." I'm no fool Shade, you're up to something... he thought to himself. Then, he summoned his own keyblades, awaiting the first heartless foolish enough to appear before them. "So, this... "Guard Armor"... What exactly is it?" he asked out of curiousity.

Arkyron listened intently to Shade as he explained the Guard Armor. It didn't seem like a very fearsome foe... Yet, he'd heard of it before... Someone in Traverse Town, the real Traverse Town, said they had seen it... It was indeed somewhat strange... Then, he let Shade finish his countdown, prepared for the onslaught. "This should be interesting..." he remarked. Not near as interesting as what you've got up your sleave though, I bet...

Arkyron was amazed at the sheer size of Guard Armor, yet he couldn't help but feel it looked somewhat silly... Then he heard Shade tell him to look for the golden card. He nodded in agreement, but had already thrown Fate's Crossing at the heartless in a Strike-Raid-like attack. It hit the beast's left arm, but barely seemed to damage it. He then waited for it to return, and ran off looking for the card. If I were a shiny golden card, where would I hide? he thought.

Arkyron darted to and fro, searching for the card. He flew up and looked near the bell tower. Nothing. He looked near the Gizmo Shop entrance. Nothing. He looked in the square... nothing... Then, a gleam caught his eye. A Shadow stood nearby, clutching something in its claws. It did an odd little dance, then fled. "GET BACK HERE!" he shouted, giving chase to the creature. Why do they ALWAYS have to run? he thought.

Arkyron pursued the Shadow through the alleyways, trying to corner it, but to no avvail, as it simply was able to pass through everything. Finally, it stood, starring him down in bold defiance. He launched a burst of dark energy, slaying the creature, and quickly went to examine what it had been holding. It was indeed the card that he needed. Yet, when he turned around to return to Shade, he found a large group of shadows. "I just can't catch a freaking break!" he shouted, preparing to slaughter them all.

Arkyron stared down the shadows. There were alot of them, but he wasn't worried. He simply laughed a little bit, and unleashed a gale, blowing them all into the sides of the wall, eradicating almost all of them, and stunning what were still alive. Then, he too realized Guard Armor's foot was about to give out, and launched a burst of dark energy at it, then threw the card to Shade. "Sorry for the wait! Alot of small problems!" he said.

Arkyron smiled, and went for the head, bashing it repeatedly with Fate's Crossing and Banishment. "Not so tough now, are we?" he taunted the creature, also beating the rest of its nearby disassembled body. Then, just for extra measure, he summoned a large tornado, being careful not to hit Shade, but also trying to come as close to obliterating the Guard Armor as possible.

Arkyron considered it... But he still didn't trust Shade... What if Shade turned the card on him later? It was definitely something to think about... He didn't have much time though... He had to decide quickly... Though he was hesitant, he finally decided to do as instructed, and went for the rest of the body instead.

Arkyron warily took the card and placed it with the others in his pocket. He was still very concerned though... His faith in Shade wasn't growing in the least, and he wondered just how much of the truth he'd shared... Nonetheless, he wondered if maybe he should trust him... Shade could have easily attacked him with the card... but he hadn't... Arkyron knew Shade wanted to manipulate him to his own ends, but he wasn't sure as to how the man would do so... "Where do we go from here? Is this the end of your... memory of a memory, as you called it?" he asked.

Arkyron nodded in understanding. "Alright... But... One last question... Where would that be in all this mess?" he asked, pointing to the multiple doorways. This, could or could not be a problem... he thought, awaiting his "ally's" response. How did he know Shade wouldn't just ditch him here though? He supposed that was a possibility, but then he remembered Shade saying something about needing him for something...
It disturbed Arkyron, knowing that Shade had a plan, and yet hadn't shared what it was, or what he hoped the results to be... He couldn't help but worry... And what once Shade achieved his goal? Would he still help Arkyron reach his, or would he simply attempt to eliminate him? He supposed only time would tell...

Arkyron smiled for a moment. A card that could change his destiny? Perhaps Shade was telling the truth... was he maybe just trying to make Arkyron's faith in him weak so that he could learn to trust him? Or was it truly a ruse as Arkyron feared? Regardless, he pocketed the card without looking. "A card that can change a destiny..." he thought aloud, not paying Shade much attention. He quickly realized he was spacing out however, and reverted his attention to him. "Lead the way," he said cockily.

Arkyron followed Shade, hoping he was right. Yet, it unnerved him a bit that the only sound that could be heard was that of their shoes meeting the ground... It was indeed far too quiet... In preparation, Arkyron again summoned Fate's Crossing and Banishment to his hands. The black and white blades gleamed, ready for battle. "It is, too quiet..." he said, looking around. Suddenly, he stopped, cocking his head to the right.
He thought he saw something... but there was nothing there. Instead, he swung Fate's Crossing over his head, turning to see he'd only knocked over a Shadow. "This is only a scout!" he exclaimed, looking for the others. "Where are they coming from!?" This could be bad... but also could be a chance for Arkyron to see if he could truly trust Shade... Arkyron would stand and fight, but would Shade as well? Or would his companion leave him for the next floor?

Arkyron was amazed... How did Shade command such power? Had he perhaps used a card like the one he'd given Arkyron? Thinking of, it, he pulled it out, and saw that it was merely blank. At that, he was tempted to strike Shade down there and then. Regardless, he nodded, and quickly followed.
Once they reached the hallways, he stopped, and applauded sarcastically. "You really had me going Shade. I thought for a while you were actually being honest," he said, holding up the blank card. "So, what's your real plan?" At that, Fate's Crossing and Banishment again appeared in his hands, and he went into an offensive stance. "Face it, I know now you're just using me to get something you want in this castle. Now fill me in, or you'll quickly regret it," he demanded.

Arkyron was caught off guard by this. So, Shade had been decieving him... This could go badly. He struggled to move from his binds while listening to Shade, yet found it to be a futile effort. That didn't keep him from trying though... As he listened, his eyes widened in horror. No... he thought, terrified. He couldn't bare to lose her... She was the only thing that mattered.
He didn't know whether or not Shade was telling the truth, but he wasn't about to take a chance... He finally quit fighting, and shot Shade one final rebellious glance. "Fine. Just leave her out of this..." he said, his face turning to one of defeat. He knew it would be futile to try and get his way out of this... For now, he had to do what Shade said...

Arkyron grunted in fury, as he dismissed Fate's Crossing and Banishment, catching the card. So be it Shade... but watch your back, for I don't plan mine to be the one with a blade in it... he thought as he stepped to the doorway. Then, just as he was about to use the next world card, something caught his eye... "Wait one minute..." he muttered, examining the wall of the hallway. In it, there was an unusual mark, different from the other floors... "Look at this, and tell me what you think of it... To me, it looks like it could simply be damage from a previous battle, but in a place like this, you never really know..." he said.

Arkyron nodded, and began to walk back to the door, but something about it that wall called out to him... What was it? He managed to shrug it off however, and proceeded to take the card from his pocket. As it flashed, and the door opened, he stepped inside, looking around curiously.
The place that unfolded before him was the very place from his dreams... Machines lined the walls, with various different computer monitors, and odd specimens. It was all to creepy to him, kind of like that deja vu feeling. As he walked through, he stopped, recognizing one of the specimens. It was his sister, Crystal. The site of her reminded him of that brutal day... but what was she doing here? He didn't remember her or any of his family ever being in this place... As he looked around, he noticed a monitor that read what he made out to be her statistics. "Subject C-9, The Serene Key," he read aloud. "This is very odd Shade... I've only seen this place in my dreams... I don't recall ever being here at all..." he said to his manipulative companion.

Arkyron nodded. "Yes, she's my sister..." he said sadly. "She was killed not too long ago... She was a keybearer... I actually obtained the Banishment keyblade as a memento from her death..." Then, Arkyron saw another nearby machine. He walked over to it, curious as to what might be inside. What he saw horrified him. For inside, lay himself. Floating in a strange liquid, monitor buzzing. He looked over to it to see what it said. Yet, the only thing it displayed was "Subject A-5: The Vessel. STATUS ERROR."
Arkyron actually fell backwards, staring at it in horror. "This... it can't be... me!?" he exclaimed in horror. "Shade... we have to leave this memory before I lose control of my emotions... the power of darkness that would unleash would obliterate you, as well as likely most of this floor..."

Arkyron quickly burst out, instantly dropping onto his knees in fury and confusion. "It... IT DOSN'T MAKE SENSE!" he shouted, pounding the floor with his fists. "That was the same place from my dreams... but... but WHY!?" he stood up, wielding both of his keyblades, and began to destroy the surrounding decorations in his fury. Finally, he lost all will to do so, and simply dropped to the floor. "Why...?" he repeated one last time.

Arkyron reluctantly took the card, and approached the door. "We're half-way there..." he said. "This place has thirteen floors and twelve basements. Or so I've heard..." he finished. Then, he let out a sigh, and opened the door. As the light shined and he stepped through, he found himself in his memories of Agrabah. "This... this is where my sister died..." he said. He began to walk towards the old building that had housed the place, but this was apparently his memories of the aftermath. "This is my memories of the aftermath..." he said. "That means very little fighting..."
