It had become clear that Orion had become what appeared to be wild. Nothing else seemed to matter to him. All he seemed to be able to focus on was the idea of killing Ivan. Nothing else mattered to him, not even his own pain. Surely, he had to feel pain? The way Orion fought on, the injuries he sustained from the fight didn't even phase him. It was sort of like Ivan except Ivan wasn't the type to get himself hurt that much. Sure, Orion and Damien had struck the man but he didn't willingly allow himself to get hurt.
As the battle progressed, Damien finally felt himself able to move again. Getting to his hands and knees, Damien pushed himself upward but it was difficult. He had staggered quite a bit before finally finding balance. He still bobbed and weaved where he stood dangerously. Lifting his head, he could do nothing more but look on.
Just when it looked like Orion was finally winning, something had stopped him before he could make the final blow. For some reason, Orion looked like he had just been knocked back by some invisible force. Damien had suspected an outside force since there was no way that Ivan could have done it. Having been raised by Ivan, he had seen what he could do in battle and that wasn't something Ivan was capable of. Not only that but Ivan had also been knocked back by that unseen force.
Then, a solitary figure stepped into the circle. Aiden, on the floor looked over at the man. No, not a man, an elf! Damien's eyes widened a little in realization. It was one of those elves again! He wasn't with the other one, the one that had hurt Damien. Already, Damien checked the crowd for him but he didn't see him. That didn't mean he wasn't here. As the elf spoke, Damien finally realized who they were. They were the ones that started that long, nasty war that had thrown the worlds into the very state that they were in now.
As Lakari spoke, introducing himself, he finally turned his attention onto Ivan and claimed that he had saved the man's life. Well, if you could even call Ivan a man. No normal man could survive damage like he had when Orion and Damien had struck him. Now, according to Lakari, Ivan owed him his own life to do with what he pleased. Ivan, though he knew it, had ties to someone else that he couldn't willingly leave.
"Be that as it may...where I am aware of that...I am bound to a god who holds power over me. In order to have control of me, you would have to defeat the god that has held power over me since my creation!" Ivan answered him. He wasn't disrespecting Lakari but he was telling him that in order to hold power over Ivan's head, the only way he could do it was that. "Otherwise, I will not be held accountable if the one that controls my life as it is has me do things I cannot resist." Ivan's and the other three heads were technically not as independent as beings such as Lakari or Damien or Orion. The heads, though they had some individuality, still performed actions that they had no control over.
Even as Ivan had said this, a sort of eerie feel fell over the crowd and the entire area. There wasn't anything to suggest it was coming from any type of source but there was a clear indication that there was some sort of power there. That power was making it known that it was present and held sway over Ivan when he had mentioned it. However, the one that did hold power over Ivan wasn't physically there. The Dark God, himself, was actually somewhere else right now.
Of course, hearing such a thing unsettled the crowd. Even Damien took pause. '...A god that controls? So the god we thought we were supporting isn't the one we thought?' Damien thought. His stomach gave an unpleasant lurch with that realization. So, everything he really had known had been a lie! All this time, he was being fed lies! Damien felt anger rise within him even more. All because of Ivan, he had been lead to believe what he was doing was for the greater good. All this time, it had been nothing but a lie. Everything was a lie! His whole life had been a lie! A new found fire in Damien's hurt burned furiously then. Sadly, he was in no condition to act upon it now. He was far too hurt to be of much of a threat in this situation. What was he to do? Nothing...for now. It stung, it stung a lot to know everything he thought he knew was wrong. Where could he even turn to now?

Orion was quickly finding the pain to be too much. He thought he vaguely heard some voice that sounded familiar in the background. But laying on his back he couldn't even stand up to see who it was. So instead he simply let himself shut his eyes. The pain was too much and he thought if he shut his eyes it might help. He didn't expect that he would blackout, but that was what he did.
-----------------
Laraki listened to Ivan's response and even felt the so called presence that came over them. Oh he felt something, but Lakari did not for once second believe it was a god. That was why his lips were curled in a cruel smile. Then he laughed. It was a wicked laugh and one suggested that he knew something that Ivan and even everyone else around him did not. Of course Lakari thought that was true regardless of anything or anyone else.
He looked back at Ivan. "A god eh?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. Lakari just smiled and shook his head. He even shrugged his shoulders. "A powerful being perhaps. But there is only one god in this universe you foolish priest." Suddenly Lakari's smile was gone. His face was quite serious, even on the verge of being angry.
Strolling with all the time of the world Lakari walked up to Ivan. Almost as if to emphasize his power he raised his hand. When he did Ivan was suddenly brought up into a chair made out of the same shield barrier that Lakari had used to force Orion and Ivan away. This shield though did not have the repelling properties that others had. This was more of a single shield of see through energy.
As Lakari neared Ivan those who were nearest to him backed off, almost as if they were afraid of this man. Lakari grabbed Ivan by the shirt to hull him to his feet. "There is one Destroyer in this universe and it is me! And I will kill anyone or anything that stands in my way. I've been killed countless times and have killed countless of creatures that have called themselves gods. Not one of them have been able to stop me!"
Lakari placed his hand on Ivan's shoulder. If he made contact with Ivan the same thing that happened to Orion would happen to Ivan. Lakari was attempting to enter the Black Blood into Ivan's body. The substance was something that took the powers one had and corrupted its very nature. In Orion's body it had corrupted the own powers that were 1/4th of the good god. The result the shadow armor that was now accessible to Orion. However the Black Blood itself was a virus. It would kill Orion from the inside if Lakari wished it too. He was attempting to do the same thing with Ivan. What it would do to the man's abilities or the nature of the dark god if it connected, Lakari didn't know. In fact Lakari didn't know that the Black Blood even had that ability on the good god. He was simply doing this to gain control of Ivan.

Damien staggered toward where Aiden was. Aiden was the closest in proximity to him so it was to him that he went to first. As he approached where the teenager lay, he could see Aiden push himself up. It was clear he looked to be in pain from that zap. It was nothing like how Damien felt since he had received the full extent of the zap.
"Y-You...alright?" Damien asked him. Aiden groaned before looking up at him, wincing in the process.
"Y-Yeah...hurts like hell though!" Aiden answered him. Damien gave a nod before staggering to where Orion had been laying down. No doubt, those injuries wouldn't be pleasant to wake up to. Why was he even helping Orion? It didn't make much sense to Damien. Maybe it was because they were technically in the same boat? Damien certainly wasn't happy where he was anymore. Everything he knew turned out to be a lie. His whole life had been a lie. The only thing he could seem to do was just check on Orion. Then, figure out what the hell to do afterward. Orion and Damien had pretty much made it clear where they stood. Damien's assisting Orion in that fight before Orion had changed made it clear that they had somewhat of a similar view where Ivan was concerned.
As Damien reached where Orion was, he noticed that Orion seemed to have fainted. Damien hadn't any healing abilities so if they were swarmed upon right now, neither of them could do much about it. The good Damien would be able to do them was teleport them to safety. He looked over to hear what the elf was saying to Ivan. Damien had certainly felt that eerie vibe in the air, one of a power he didn't understand but for some reason felt familiar. How could he recognize something like that? Damien didn't think he knew anything with a vibe like that.
Ivan laughed when akari called him a priest. "Priest? What priest would go around destroying worlds? I am no priest, elf!" Ivan retorted. "Obviously, for you to scorn the existence of a real god means you have not heard of the legend of the Four...you are no god!" Ivan mocked. It's all he could do right now though since he had technically been defeated. Ivan knew what he said must have annoyed Lakari for he had suddenly decided to display what power he claimed to have. A chair had suddenly formed underneath him, holding him up. It was some sort of strange barrier.
Lakari neared where Ivan was, holding him up by the shirt. Ivan just looked him right in the eyes, his gaze unwavering. When Lakari spoke, Ivan chuckled. "You might have died several times but a true god wouldn't actually die! You may have a life where you die and come back but a true god never actually dies! My god has never died!" It was all Ivan had room to say before Lakari had reached out and touched his injured arm.
The result was that Lakari had twisted the powers that the Dark God had made in Ivan further. He had made him stronger. The twisting though had reverted Ivan to a state he had been in before the Dark God made him more intelligent. Ivan's appearance was changed to the point where his eyes had turned completely black. he energy that came off of him was of a dark purple aura. Seeing this change had made people back off more.
"You might control me now but when you contend with the power of the Dark God, you will lose in the end whether it be your life or your sanity!" Ivan stated. His voice sounded twisted and dark. Somehow he was still sane but obviously the effect the dark blood Lakari had used was something nasty. Where it twisted the Light god's power with one of the 4 warriors, one of the 4 warriors of the Dark God wound up taking on a much more violent appearance and his power had been twisted and increased. The Dark God was humoring Lakari into thinking he had entire control on Ivan for now. It was only a matter of time before their powers clashed but not right now.
What Ivan had said sounded cryptic. The people around them wanted to do nothing more but get away. A number of them couldn't help but look on. No one dared to move for fear of the attention of those in the center of the circle focusing on them. Dark God? They were told they were supporting a god of light!

Lakari was angered by what Ivan was saying. This thing dared challenge him! Lakari was thinking of just killing the man now. It would probably save some complications in the future. However Lakari had wanted a knife at the Order's throat. He still had one, at least he believed he did, but perhaps turning Ivan would not be it.
Seeing the transformation that had taken over Ivan by the black blood he was surprised. He had expected a different sort of transformation. It really was interesting, but it did nothing to help him in any way. In fact it seemed to just boost Ivan's strength if anything.
"Yet you and your dark god fear the power of four heroes who might possibly stand against you, priest?" To Lakari Ivan was a priest. He was a religious fanatic that believed in a higher power that he himself had probably never seen. Oh he could claim to have felt it, but Lakari did not believe in the immortality and divinity of this "Dark God".
Lakari had more knowledge of the legend Ivan spoke of then what Ivan probably thought he had. Lakari was an ancient being, and one who had spent many years studying prophecy. In his experience prophecy was never set in stone. It always had the potential of turning out in a way that written words could not convey.
"I welcome the clash against you dark god. But unless your mythical power plans on making an appearance I have much to do. Let us leave priest." Lakari waited to see what Ivan would do. Would he go willingly? Also would this so called dark force actually show up? Lakari waited.

Well Orion was out cold. Unaware of everything that was occurring he found himself in a dream. It seemed like a dream anyway. He was sitting in his room back in the Enchanted Domain. He was enjoying a bowl of soup from the cook. It felt good that his only care in the world was to feed his rumbling stomach. He didn't have to think about his princely duties or his nagging father.
"You're not a prince any longer." A voice said behind Orion as a mirror image of Orion appeared. He had Orion's face, features, tone of voice, even posture. He was a splitting image of Orion except for one thing. There was a smugness to him that Orion didn't have. He walked with confidence in himself. He was dressed in the royal and expensive robes that Orion often wore around the castle.
Orion looked down at himself and realized that he was in dirty rags. His hair was long and when he brought his hands to his face he felt long hair covering his face. Looking down into his soup he saw his reflection. It wasn't Prince Orion. Oh it had his eyes and lips and nose. But his reflection was a bum.
"I don't understand." Orion said confused.
The other Orion took a seat and kicked his feet up on the table. He leaned backwards in his chair and grinned. "Don't you remember? You're nobody now. Not a single person in the world cares about you."
Orion shook his head. He couldn't believe that! What about his mother? And Max? And Julian? They all loved him didn't they? "I wouldn't be so sure. You tried to kill one of them remember?"
Gazing off in the distance Orion tried to remember. Was that true? Had he tried to kill one of them?! Raising his hand and pointing a finger at the other image of him he opened his lips to claim that the person across from him was a liar. But as he raised his hand he noticed his hands were red with dried blood! Then the image of stabbing Max suddenly appeared in his head. Orion let out a scream and awoke to pain.

As Ivan spoke, he could see anger cross the elf's face. Ivan cared not whether the elf killed him or not. The Dark God could always create him again. After all, Ivan was what the "four" were to the Light God except not as much as what the four were. The "four" were a piece of the Light God's powers entirely. Ivan's group was pieces of the Dark God but not so much. They were merely his creations that he had formed for the sole purpose of contending with the four in battle. Where the four were the pieces of light, Ivan and the others were the pieces of darkness. They were their opposites.
As Lakari spoke in response, Ivan gave a chuckle at the word "priest". Lakari would learn eventually that Ivan was really no priest. For now, the Dark God was merely humoring Lakari. The fact someone could say he believed in no god existing and thinking he could control everything deeply amused him. Yes, even now, the Dark God was watching everything play out.
"The Four are minor setbacks created by his brother. The Light God is no more but exists in the souls of the Four. He is what gives them their unique powers. The Dark God has done the same for I and the other three. Call us priests if you will but you will see in the end that we are far from that."
Lakari sounded bored by the time things had been said and done. He still didn't look intent on believing that there was a higher power that would clash with him. If there was, he was foolish enough to dare the god to come. As Lakari finished speaking, Ivan simply got to his feet, smirking back at the elf almost mockingly. He was under Lakari's control but Ivan knew the reason why. The Dark God was toying with Lakari. Making Lakari believe he was right about there being no such god since it was the greatest deception. How long before it got boring depended on what Lakari was doing.
"Where to?" Ivan mused.
Damien and Aiden gave a start when Orion had suddenly screamed. Aiden fell back and Damien had to catch his balance before he risked falling over as well. When they recovered from the shock of the scream, Orion had finally opened his eyes. No doubt, waking up to a world filled with pain.
"...We need to get out of here..." Where could they even go though? Also, why would Damien bring them along? That puzzled him as well.

Fairly uncertain of everything that was going on all Orion felt was ache. He didn't know that Aiden and Damien were practically hovering over him. If so perhaps he would have had an issue with it. But at the moment all that mattered was the stupid pain that he felt. It hurt to breathe! Since when did that happen!
"Follow and find out." Lakari said as he created a corridor of darkness. He turned his back on Ivan and stepped through it. If Ivan were to follow he would have to do it pretty darn quickly. The corridor of darkness would only stay open for a moment.
Once Lakari had left the people around seemed to be in a bit of shock. No one spoke or really said anything as they waited to see what Ivan would do. If he did decide to follow, well they'd probably be shocked for a few moments. Then the crowd would no doubt explode in voices and conversation. Things had pretty much just flipped on everyone in the group.

As Ivan had stood, he had allowed himself to smirk in amusement. For now, the Dark God was toying with Lakari. That's the only reason right now that he hadn't clashed with the elf. He would allow him to go on thinking the Dark God didn't exist. At least, for now until later. Not right now though.
When Lakari answered Ivan's question, he watched the elf leave through a portal. Ivan didn't seem to pay anyone else any mind as he wandered in right after the elf. The eerie vibe both gave off left the room as the two had exited to god knows where.
It left everyone in a blunder. Ivan pretty much was "taken over" in their eyes or "deserted them" in their eyes. There was a lot of murmuring and discussion amongst them. On top of it, Damien, Orion and Aiden had fought Ivan beforehand. The three had pretty much turned their backs on everything. Also, Orion most of all admitted to wanting to take the organization down.
While the three of them remained where they were, the doctor had walked out of his section of the barracks. He had heard a fight was going on and knew that he would probably be needed. When he had come upon the three left in the circle, the doctor shook his head when he spotted Damien.
"You honestly don't know how to keep yourself out of trouble, do you, Damien?" he said to him. Damien looked over at the doctor and made to protest but he just shook his head to silence Damien. "Get me stretchers...now!" People nearby looked amongst themselves. Some even spoke asked how he could heal three people at a time like this.
"It doesn't matter to me. Injuries are all the same. I'm a doctor, I just do my job. I don't care who is affiliated with who...now get me those stretchers stat!" A few men appeared carrying stretchers. Where Orion's words had bothered them, they were still willing to help the doctor and Damien. Damien might have fought Ivan but they didn't blame him entirely for doing so. Ivan had mistreated him a lot in front of their eyes. Each of the three was placed on a stretcher and they were carried off to the hospital wing.

Orion awoke to soreness. His first thoughts on the matter aligned themselves with another hard day of training. "That old man really likes to ride me hard!" Orion thought to himself as he opened his eyes. When he noticed white walls he realized that he was not in his room in the tower.
His memory of the morning's events returned to him. His teacher had not been the cause of the soreness he now felt. That was due to Ivan. "Well they didn't kill me yet at least." The last thing Orion remembered about his fight with Ivan was that he was about to win in a power struggle against the man. Then something had slammed and thrown him backwards. After that things got a little fuzzy.
Attempting to stand to take a better look around, Orion found pain striking his abdomen. "Woh! Easy now!" A female's voice said to his side. A nice young nurse helped Orion into a sitting position. She was dressed in a practical nursing blues and Orion's eyes fell on her red hair, pale face, and brown freckles.
"The doctor just left to see your friends. They had just awoken. Wait here while I go let him know you're awake." Orion watched the swaying of her hips as she left.
"It is time for you to pay your due's young prince." A voice said from the back of the room. Having not seen anyone in the room it's sudden sounding made him almost leap out of the bed. A figure strolled forward from the shadows of the room. She was dressed in a black cloak that hugged the curves of her body, but a black hood hid her face.
"Um... who are you?"
"You don't need to know that. However my father has given me this to give to you. He has also informed me to remind you that you owe The Emperor a life. He has chosen that life. If you fail to meet your end of the bargain your own life will be forfeit."
The figure took out a white envelope from inside her cloak and with a flick of her hand she sent it across the room to hit him straight in the chest. Even though it was just a card inside a white envelope it still hurt Orion. The figure had some strength to throw an envelope with such force.
Only with a hint of remembrance did Orion open the envelope. He vaguely remembered the two elves that had visited him back when he was piss drunk. He did remembered making a deal with one of those elves, but he forgot just what he had asked for exactly.
Opening the envelope Orion took out a small notecard. The name he read made his mouth open in shock!
"Why! What purpose...?!"
"Is everything alright?" A male's voice said from the doorway that the nurse had left. The doctor had arrived it seemed. Orion was looking for the figure that had just been there a moment ago, but his eyes found only the shadows on the floor.
Where had she gone?! "Um... I'm alright. Just a bit sore." Orion told the doctor as he came into the room. He placed the card with the name 'King Lion Lotus', his father, underneath the blanket.
((OOC: Hope it's alright that I control the doctor. You can have Darius and Aiden enter too if you want. I just figure Orion would still not be a 100% just yet after everything lol))

(OOIC: It's perfectly fine XD I don't mind when you use NPCs I create lol. They're for both of us to use. Unless I say otherwise, all of them are fair game to control XD) Damien had been resting in the room he had been put in. His electrocution he had endured hadn't been very pleasant. Unlike Aiden's case, Damien's had been prolonged. It was a wonder he had managed to survive it considering he was a water user. One would think he would have died from it. Just how did he manage to endure things like he did? It didn't make much sense to him but he guessed it had to do with the heavy training he had through the years. That's the only thing he believed could explain it all.
As he lay there, Damien tried to get his thoughts sorted out. No one had tried to arrest or kill him. Why didn't they? Damien was in cahoots with Orion when he had attacked Ivan. Shouldn't he be in shackles now or dead? Why was he allowed to live? Was it because everyone was divided? What was going on with the barracks right now? Surely, Ivan's leaving had left it in some kind of disarray? Just what had Ivan meant anyway about the four? If Damien was one, what did that mean?
While he had been pondering this, just lying on the bed he had been left on to rest, someone burst through the door. Aiden was looking back at him with all smiles. "Hey, Damien, rise and shine!" he told him. Damien frowned at the youth. How could he be cheerful at a time like this?! This teenager drove him nuts!
"Shouldn't you be resting, Aiden?" Damien questioned him. Aiden waved a hand at it as if the whole thing were nothing to worry about.
"Please, I've had worse back in my day!" Aiden stated. Damien doubted if there really ever was a "in his day" for Aiden considering the kid was still so young. "Say...why don't we go see how Orion's doing?" Aiden asked him. Damien gave Aiden a flat look. Sure, he might have helped Orion in that battle but the two weren't friends. At least not to Damien's knowledge anyway. Orion hated him and at the time, Damien had aided him because they both had wanted the same thing. They both had wanted Orion dead.
"Orion wouldn't want to see us. Besides, he needs his rest more than any of us." Aiden frowned at Damien. Placing his hands on his hips, Damien was suddenly reminded of Romi whenever she got angry. Damien blinked up at Aiden as the kid spoke.
"Please! We should at least check up on him! It's been what...a couple of days? He needs to be checked on!" Aiden stated. Damien groaned at the teenager. How could someone have so much energy like that? Damien couldn't understand it.
"It might be better to let him rest!" Damien growled. Before Aiden could object, the door opened and in came the doctor. He wandered over to where the two were. Damien still lying on the hospital bed and Aiden standing there. Both looked at him wondering what he had wanted.
"I see you're awake...and quite lively at that..." he said, glancing at Aiden whom looked as if he hadn't even been zapped two days ago. Aiden had been the first to recover only because he had the less damage out of the three. "Good to see you're both awake." Heading over to Aiden the doctor looked him up and down, Aiden pretty much doing the same thing. The teenager was rather bold.
"I see you're in good enough shape now. You'll be the first to leave if you so choose." With that, the doctor then turned to Damien. Damien met the doctor's gaze as he approached the side of his bed. "You're lucky. Not many survive getting zapped by that many volts. On top of it, you had opened your wound again. Had to stitch you back up. Tell me, how are you feeling now?"
"Fine." Damien was somewhat sore but he wasn't the type to admit pain. He was as stoic as ever. The doctor just gave a knowing smirk before heading back toward the door. As he did so, the nurse that had been tending to Orion had come in.
"Sir, he's awake!" she told him. The doctor gave a nod.
"Alright, I'll go in and check on him." With that, the doctor had left the room. Not telling Damien if he could get up and leave if he wanted to. Regardless, Damien felt healthy enough to be able to move again but he didn't plan on it. Not until Aiden started up again.
"Orion's awake?!" the teenager exclaimed excitedly. The nurse smiled and gave him a nod. Aiden gave a loud "WHOOHOO!" With that, he darted out of the room before the nurse could even stop him. Aiden's intended direction, no doubt, would be to see Orion. Damien grumpily pushed himself up off of his bed. That damn kid was probably going to make matters worse!
"Sir, you really should lay back down!" the nurse urged but Damien ignored her. He headed right out after Aiden.
By the time Aiden had reached the room, the doctor had already entered the room to speak to Orion. Just as he had done to Damien's door, Aiden burst through it all smiles as he rushed to the side of Orion's bed. If he got to the bed in time, he might just tackle hug the older guy. "Orion!" Aiden exclaimed cheerfully. "You're awake!" he stated. Just as he weaved around the surprised doctor, Damien had also entered the room looking very unhappy. No one would notice him though since Aiden was the one making the scene.
Just as Aiden reached the edge of the bed, he made to leap out at Orion. Damien, thankfully, got to Aiden just in time by grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulled him back before he could do just that. "Oh no you don't, you crazy kid!" Damien growled as he did that. Aiden looked surprised as he was suddenly pulled back. The youth looked up reproachfully at Damien.
"H-Hey! Who're you calling a kid?" Aiden exclaimed before looking back over at Orion. "I was only greeting him!"
"Greeting? More like tackling! Neither of us is in any condition for you to go around tackling!" Damien stated/ Aiden just gave them all a sheepish grin.
"Uheh! Whoops! S-Sorry about that." Poor Orion, he now had company he probably didn't even want.

Orion hadn't expected an onslaught of people to come into his room. When he saw Aiden coming straight for his bed. Orion braced himself for a leaping tackle by the kid. There was nothing he could do but brace with his condition. Thankfully though an unlikely hand saved him. Seeing Damien grab a hold of Aiden's shoulder, Orion's eyebrow raised in slight surprise.
Since when did Damien want to see him? It wasn't like they were friends. In fact, Orion was pretty sure the two were close to enemies or rivals. Listening to the short interaction between Damien and Aiden, Orion didn't have time to speak or ask on their welfare. The doctor and the nurse had stepped around Damien and Aiden. The nurse turned to Aiden and Damien and gestured for them to give the doctor some space.
He approached Orion and with a gentle push of his hand he made Orion lay back down. "You've suffered multiple injuries young man. The worse was your torso. I had to sew more then three dozen gashes and slash marks. The amount of pain those cut alone should have caused... Add that with some broken ribs, I'm surprised to see you even sitting up so soon. I did my best to heal those wounds, but I cannot heal pain and fatigue. You pushed your body to the max young man."
From everything that had happened Orion was surprised to hear just how hurt it seemed he had been. He had felt none of the pain the doctor spoke of. "Thank you for healing me." Orion told him.
Around the doctor, Orion spotted the nurse shushing Aiden with a finger to her lips. Aiden was an interesting kid. He didn't mind him really.
"There's one more thing..." The doctor said, pulling Orion's attention back to him. "I don't know how to tell you this, but when I took a sample of your blood we picked up a very peculiar substance in your blood. I've never seen its kind before and I've been spending some time studying how it interacts with your blood. How do I put this... It seems you've been poisoned, and I have not the clue as to how to fix it because I don't know what it is. But it is eating the cells in your blood."

As Damien held onto the back of Aiden's shirt collar, the youth frowned over at him. "Say, why are you in here anyway? I thought you didn't want to bother!" Aiden asked him. Damien returned the look as he looked down at the blue haired instigator.
"Because if I didn't, you would've done something stupid by tackling Orion whom needs to heal." Damien had left it at that, not meeting Orion's obviously confused gaze. He had aided Orion but they weren't exactly friends. In fact, considering the things Orion said in his drunken state and how he acted earlier only revealed the two weren't exactly on the best of terms. However, Damien would treat him with respect. They had, after all, fought the same person with the intent of killing Ivan. So far though that only seemed as far as their interaction with one another went. Aiden seemed to be the only one of the three that got along with the others. Well, it was debatable concerning Aiden and Damien. Damien seemed to have taken on an older sibling sort of role by keeping Aiden in line.
As the doctor moved around them, the nurse arriving and also stepping around them, Damien made sure to keep a careful eye on Aiden. Aiden had started to flail his arms in attempts to get out of Damien's grip but with no such luck. Damien's side hurt as did his body but nowhere near how Orion must have felt. Still, it wasn't any fun restraining another person when even the least bit sore. He grimaced a little as he hung onto Aiden. The nurse had turned to them and motioned for them to give the doctor and Orion some space. Damiens tepped back, pulling Aiden along with him.
"H-HEY!" Aiden shouted at Damien. The shout alone was enough to make the nurse turn around and shush him. Aiden gave her a sheepish grin before looking back up at Damien and glaring at him. Damien simply ignored him as the doctor spoke. Orion certainly had received many an injury. It was a wonder that he was up and about already. Damien would have expected him to still be out of it. The fact he was even sitting up was a wonder in of itself.
The two then listened as the doctor informed Orion that he had something in his blood. The doctor had taken a sample and was studying it. Apparently, it was a kind of poison. The way the doctor made it sound, it wasn't a good prognosis.
"Wh-WHAT?! He's POISONED?!" Aiden exclaimed. Damien gave a sigh but didn't silence him. He knew Aiden seemed to like Orion a lot much like how he liked Damien a lot too.
"Y-You can try and find a cure...right? Right?!" Aiden asked.
"...That's easier said than done, Aiden..." Damien stated as he looked between the doctor and Orion.

Orion didn't know what to say. How in the world had he been poisoned? And by whom? Was he going to die? "Things are tough, but I'm not ready to give up on life yet!" He thought to himself.
The doctor cleared his throat after Aiden had interrupted him and shot him with a load of questions. "As I was trying to explain, I will study this in more detail. I would recommend that you stay here while I work to try and learn more about what this substance actually is. What I can tell you is that there is no simple way to get rid of the substance. I cannot just amputee a body part and stop the substance from spreading because it has already spread throughout your body. We are past the point of catching it in the act."
Pausing he looked to Orion. The young man's face had gone white. This really wasn't sounding good at all! "Is there anything you can do to stop it?"
The response Orion received was a shake of the head. "I cannot. But perhaps someone else can. This is beyond my ability and knowledge. I can tell you that I estimate that you have about a year before your blood count lowers to fatal levels. I do not think this substance itself will kill you. By loosing your blood cells your immunity will fall to such a level that by a year a simple cold virus will likely be to much for your body to overcome."
He had a year?! Only a year?! Orion was in shock. None of this even seemed to feel real. "Y...you mentioned someone else?"
"Yes. There is a man named Doctor Shutter. He was from a world long gone now, called Frozen Tundra. I met him on my travels in the Kingdom of Cornelia on the World of Fantasy. He set up an office there in Immigrants Town. He is a unique kind of man, and often spoke of his various interactions with different sorts of unique cases. I cannot guarantee that he can help you, but that is the best I can do."
To Orion it seemed like he had no choice. It was the only lead he had now. He would have to go there. "How long before I can leave then? I should go there as soon as possible."
In response the doctor stepped forward and examined Orion's injuries, pulse, and inspected his heart. "A few more days at least. Some good rest and some time to gather your strength. In the meantime I will send word to Doctor Shutter that you are coming."

Aiden looked stunned. He didn't think he'd be hearing such news. He had just gotten to know Orion and had even latched onto him like he had Damien. He didn't want Orion to die so that's why he had made the outbursts he had. Damien didn't stop him when he did since he knew Aiden seemed to like Orion. Damien and Orion might not get along but he respected the fact Aiden got along with Orion. As the two of them stood there, Aiden finished with his bursts, the doctor cleared his throat and began to talk again.
He wanted to study the substance further and wished that Orion stay here in order to learn more about it. There was no easy way of taking care of it now though. According to the doctor the strange substance had already spread throughout Orion's body. Damien furrowed his brow as Aiden piped in. "Like cancer?!"
When Orion asked if there was anything that can be done to stop it he only received even more bad news. The doctor didn't know how and the only thing he had to go off of was the idea that someone else might be able to help. Unfortunately, it couldn't be certain if they could cure it. Damien and Aiden both heard the doctor inform Orion that he only had a year left to live and that was just an estimate. It could happen sooner or later. Orion's time was short.
True, the substance might not be able to kill Orion himself but other foreign pathogens such as just a simple cold could easily kill him once a year was reached. Since a lot of foreign pathogens were everywhere, Orion would be lucky to be still living if they managed to turn him into the "Bubble boy". Even then, his survival rate would be risky.
Orion seemed to be trying to keep himself from exploding with what he found out. It was a lot to take in when someone told you that you only had a single year left to live. The doctor then told Orion that Doctor Shutter whom was from Frozen Tundra had been known to deal with unique cases. If there was any hope for Orion it was to see that doctor. As soon as Orion figured out where Doctor Shutter was, he asked the doctor how soon he could go.
At this, the doctor examined Orion, Damien put a hand over Aiden's mouth when the kid made to ask another question. There was a slight muffled protesting on Aiden's end but Damien managed to keep him quiet enough. When the doctor was finished, Damien let go of Aiden finally as the doctor told Orion that he could leave in a few days. Considering the shape Orion was in Damien could see why it would take that long.
Flocking to Orion's side of the bed, Aiden peered back at him. "Time's precious though! Can't we go-?" Aiden cut himself short as his eyes fell on Damien. "OH! I KNOW!" he shouted forgetting how close he was to the other two. "You can teleport us there, Damien!" Aiden asked him as if this were the perfect solution to the problem to save Orion time. He didn't even ask Damien if he could help teleport Orion. He just said it as if Damien would do it. Damien furrowed his brows, looking at Aiden when he said that.
"What are you going off about?" Damien stated. It was obvious by his tone of voice that he was annoyed with Aiden. Yet, despite his annoyance, throughout knowing Aiden he had never hurt the boy. Maybe traumatized him with his portals but that was it really. For some reason Damien had more of a tolerance for someone as young as Aiden as opposed to those around the same age as himself.
"Come on! You know exactly what I'm talking about!" Aiden retorted. "You know, that handy dandy teleportation ability of your's? No one else has that! Not to my understanding anyway...it would be useful! AND it would save precious time!" Aiden argued, not giving Damien room to speak. Aiden may be forward and forceful here but his heart meant well. Aiden wanted to help save Orion time since the more time he spent the less time he had to live. Aiden wanted to help Orion find a cure sooner rather than later. What better way to use someone that had the ability to make travel more convenient?
"And I would help you because...?" Damien questioned Aiden. Aiden frowned over at him seriously.
"Oh come ON! Get the rods up your bums out already! I'm not saying you two have to like each other. Anyway, can't you help someone if they only have one year left to live regardless of who they are? Come on, Damien! I know you're better than that!"
Damien rolled his eyes at Aiden. This kid seemed to think they were heroes or something. Honestly, he didn't know why Aiden latched onto him and he certainly didn't understand how the youth latched onto Orion as well. For some reason, Aiden seemed to idolize them.
"If you don't, I'll tell Romi!" Aiden stated simply. The way he said it so casually made it sound like a threat. Damien narrowed his eyes as he looked hard at Aiden for a moment and then sighed. Turning away from Orion, the doctor and Aiden, Damien spoke.
"...Fine then. Get as much rest as you need. When you're ready, I'll teleport us there." With that, Damien walked out of the room. He didn't like the idea of being in the company of someone whom obviously hated him but leaving the world seemed like a good step to finding his own way. At least, that's what he had believed he was left to do. Speaking of which, he still needed to check on the state of the base. Surely, the other three of the four heads heard about the situation? What were the people going to do to them too? Damien and Orion made it clear they were foes of Ivan. Orion more so a foe toward the organization.
"...An organization of lies..." Damien murmured to himself in the silent hallway. Surely others were coming to that same conclusion? Ivan had revealed quite a lot to everyone in the midst of that turmoil. All along, they were working for a cause that meant them all ill.
'...And I foolishly handed that damned book to Ivan! All because I was blind to what he really was...thinking the bastard was my own father and only wanted to receive some form of acceptance from him for once...' Damien thought angrily. All along, he was raised to be oblivious to that whole thing. Raised to be nothing but a killing machine and a dog that did tricks when ordered to. Now, his life meant nothing. What could someone like him possibly do? Everything he thought he knew was a lie! Damien hated himself for being so foolish to be had since childhood. Where had his own family been anyway? Where were they? Had Ivan killed them or had he just simply found Damien and spirited him away on them? Who were they?
Aiden, as soon as Damien left looked over at Orion. "That was easier than expected...anyway, we'll get to that Doctor Schmutter, Orion! You have my word on that one!" Aiden didn't even realize he had said Shutter wrong.

Orion's mind hadn't even gone into problem solving mode yet. He was still pretty much in shock and denial. He felt sore, but he had felt sore before. His body had always healed eventually from injuries he received. This was different though. Orion had never had something like this happen to him before. He almost wanted to tell the doctor that he felt fine though. How could what the doctor told him be true?
In the silence, Aiden and Damien conversed. Orion picked up on the conversation only when he heard his name. "Wait what?" He asked to no one in particular.
Hearing Damien declare that he would teleport them to this other world in a few days, Orion raised his eyebrow. Damien wanted to help him? Why on earth would he want to do that? Wasn't he still a part of this evil organization? Watching Damien leave and Aiden approach his bed side, he noticed the nurse and doctor head out as well. It was just Orion and the kid again.
"Um... thanks kid. I uh... I think I should rest for a while. I have a lot to think about." Orion's head was still spinning from all of this.
-----------------------
The doctor closed the door behind him, leaving Aiden and Orion alone in the room. The nurse followed him in stride as he headed back towards his office. As they walked the nurse gave him a raised eyebrow. "Why didn't you tell him the truth about Shutter?"
In response the doctor simply shrugged. "What else is there to tell?"
Crossing her arms, the nurse narrowed her eyes. "I don't know, maybe that he isn't a real doctor. There's also the fact that he isn't mentally stable. And don't forget that when we worked with him he always tried to keep his patients." The nurse emphasized the word keep with in air quotations.
"That wouldn't help him. The man is a genius. He is the only person I know who might be able to do something about it. I could keep him here and try and discover a cure myself, but I'd just be wasting time. Besides I exaggerated the amount of time the man has left. He has two months, not a year."
The doctor left the nurse standing in the hall with her mouth wide open. He continued on to his office.

Damien didn't exactly like Orion but neither did he hate him. Sure, he proved to be what Damien had suspected of him but right now he had thrown himself into the same boat. For now, he would cooperate with Aiden and let the kid at least help Orion through him. A year to live? That really sucked. He had no idea that Orion's time was actually much shorter than that. None of them did save for the medical staff that had just discussed it.
Walking out of the medical wing, Damien gazed at what met his eyes. People were still here but not as many. It looked like a number of them had left while others simply talked with one another. None looked his way, not yet. Quietly, Damien headed into their midst despite his injury. Considering he was sore from having opened up his side again, Damien felt he could muster walking around a bit. No training though. That would only open his wounds again.
As he walked, people finally looked over at him. Some went into a hush and simply watched him go. None tried to intercept him and none said any curses. Were they afraid of him or what was their deal? Why hadn't Orion and he been arrested? As he pondered this, finally someone seemed to muster the courage to come before him or just simply noticed him just now and decided to approach him. Aware of them, Damien stopped in his tracks to look over at the young man. It was that same guy Damien had spoken to the first time he came to this base.
"...Sir...What are we to do? Lord...er...Ivan, sir, had gone willing with the enemy. Has he deserted us? What of the organization sir? Are we really serving a Dark God without knowing of it? Ruining our chances of helping mankind and the worlds?" Damien sighed as he was bombarded with so many questions.
"Yes, Ivan had left us. What he said sounded true. All this time, we've been had. The only suggestion I can give is live your lives as you would and leave here. If you don't, you'll surely be killed. If the other three heads are still around, I'm sure they too care nothing about our lives."
"But what of you, sir? Where are you intending to go?" the man asked Damien.
"...I don't know."
"Don't you want to save your father?" someone else butted in. Apparently, that person hadn't seen the battle a few days ago. Damien furrowed his brows as he looked back at the person hard.
"That man, if you can call him a man, was never my father! That bastard simply raised me as one of his most prized pawns! He only needed me to be his dog to do his bidding!" Damien growled at the person. His burst seemed to catch those nearby off guard as they all went silent and looked over at the three standing there.
"I'm...sorry, sir." It had been the youth from before speaking again. "Sir...some of us had left because of...well, they were scared. Do you intend on getting them for treason?"
"No, if they want to run, let them run. There's nothing left here of this organization except those that think serving the Dark God for reasons against what we intended is right. Otherwise, you are all free now to do with what you will with your own lives. I will not hold any of you accountable...still, I wonder...why did you not arrest myself and Orion? We had shown treason by defying Ivan. Why are we not arrested and executed?"
"Because sir...you two had fought a man we all feared...and hated. A lot of us had seen what he did to you...and you showed a lot of heart for those of us he abused when he was here. You received punishment in the place of those he hurt. You've...gained a lot of our loyalty. We couldn't arrest you, or Orion, for doing what not many of us had the guts to do. Pity that you hadn't been able to kill the man."
Damien looked stunned at the guy. So, he had earned loyalty of people just for that? It confused him greatly. In his eyes, they should be treating him like a monster and a traitor but they weren't. What to do with the lot though? Surely, they couldn't remain here of all places? The other three heads would be searching for them. In fact, while they were all here, time was short.
"...Well then, if you are that loyal, I advise taking the transports and relocating to another area. I think it would be best to separate for the time being so we can lie low for a time. Gather numbers undercover like we've been doing but know that our motives are now different. If you all stand with us then we should work on defeating the three heads and Ivan. I don't think taking them on right now is wise so that is why we will gather numbers in secret. Before I forget..." Damien took out a transmitter and handed it to the man. "I want you to appoint several division leaders. You are to be the main division leader and are to report back to me everyone's status. Obviously, the other division leaders will go to a different location, another world preferably, and gather numbers there and train in secret. I expect a report on status every week. Now that I've left you with this task, what is your name, soldier?"
"Jesse, sir. This is a great honor sir, thank you!" Jesse said to him. Damien gave a nod before turning toward the mass around them. There were still quite a few promising numbers.
"I don't expect you to be out of here today but I do expect you to be all up and out of here in the next few days. If you don't leave as soon as possible, the three heads will be upon us and there is also no telling when that elf will be back with Ivan. I know I needn't tell you what will happen should it happen..." Jesse gave a knowing nod. "You're dismissed...good luck, Jesse and I expect a full report by the end of this week." Jesse bowed and immediately, preparations for people to move out began. Honestly, Damien wasn't sure if he could do this sort of thing but maybe there was a chance? Honestly, he wanted revenge. He wanted to kill Ivan and the three heads for what they did to everyone. Ivan especially for what he had done to Damien.
Once that was settled, Damien headed back to the hospital wing to rest up.
-------------------------------------
Aiden looked over at Orion once the others had left. Orion didn't seem to register all that had happened. He looked like he was still stuck on the fact that he was going to die in a year. Aiden waited as Orion spoke to him. Orion had then requested Aiden leave him to his thinking and claimed he needed rest. "...I'll let that kid remark slide for now. Just so you know, my name's Aiden, not kid!" Aiden replied before heading for the door.
Before he reached it, he turned around to face Orion again. "Hey, don't lose hope now, okay? There's a chance you can pull through this. I'm not sure how but you gotta believe, okay? Anyways, see ya around, Orion. Rest easy and don't let it bother you." With that, Aiden reluctantly left the room. He hoped what he said would reach Orion. He didn't want to come back and find that he had committed suicide or something.

The days past fairly uneventful. Orion had few visitors. Some of the people he had gotten to know here visited to try and cheer him up, but they often found Orion to never be in the mood for talking. Orion fell into a robotic mode where he spent the majority of his time simply answering people's questions when they came to see him.
Physically he was healing. Well the outside of his body anyway. His strength was beginning to return. Heck if the doctor hadn't told him that he was going to die, Orion would have figured that he was stronger then he ever had been before.
At last the day that Orion was cleared to leave came on the fourth day of the meeting with the doctor. The nurse came into his room with a tray of oatmeal, fruit, eggs, and a box of juice. From the window Orion could see the sun rising. He was sitting in a chair that sat next to it. He had been cleared to get up and walk around on his own yesterday.
"Breakfast's here." The nurse said with a smile. She always tried to cheer him up when she saw him.
Orion's face didn't peel away from the window though. He watched the sun rise. His hair had grown longer compared to the day he had arrived. It now stretched down to his shoulder. Accompanying it was a full white beard that now hung three inches from his face. He looked older, more like a middle aged man than a twenty one year old.
"You excited to finally get out of here? You're going to be traveling to a whole different world! Isn't it exciting?" The nurse tried to cheer him up. She placed the tray on a small table next to the chair.
Not yet taking his eyes off the sun, Orion replied to the nurse. "As sure as the sun is going to rise everyday, so too is the inevitability that I will die."
Unknown to Orion the doctor had also arrived. "But that day could very well be eighty years from now." He told Orion.
Slightly surprised that Orion had not heard the doctor's footsteps, he turned away from the window to look at the doctor and the nurse. "We both know I have a year. You said so yourself."

The past few days, Aiden pretty much willed away bugging Damien. He had let Orion rest but occasionally checked up on him. For someone that was only just barely older than himself, Orion was looking more and more like a middle aged man or bum. Of course, he never told Orion this but it was obvious that Orion didn't seem to care about taking care of himself. No doubt, he was depressed about his situation. Aiden had brought the topic up with Damien despite knowing that Damien and Orion weren't on friendly terms. All Damien kept telling him was to not pester Orion since no doubt, the news he got was what had been bothering him.
Damien, on the other hand, kept checking on the progress of the base. Most members had left by now and were just leaving today. Any with hostilities toward them didn't think sticking around long enough was such a good idea. Therefore, people were more focused on getting out of here rather than remaining. It was too dangerous for good or evil to stick around. The remaining three heads were not a force to be contended with. That much, Damien knew from experience considering how he dealt with Ivan in the past.
It had officially been a few days finally. Now, it was time to teleport from this world and go to the other one. Damien wasn't exactly looking forward to interacting with White. However, Aiden wasn't about to let Damien slip away either. Damien couldn't bring himself to disappoint the teenager either. He didn't exactly like Orion but Aiden liked him. Damien would respectfully teleport him to the other world to make matters quicker for Orion so that Aiden would be happy. After all, what sort of friend would Damien be if he only paid attention to his likes and dislikes only? Not a very good one, that's for sure. Not only that but teleporting would do Damien some good in helping him step out of his previous life and begin the new one. He wouldn't bother Orion on this expedition.
At the present, Aiden and himself were heading down the hallway to where Orion's room would be. The doctor and the nurse would already be speaking to Orion. The two might show up at the near end of the discussion.

Orion, descendent of White but certainly not White, had started in on his breakfast. The doctor hadn't known what to say to cheer Orion up so he had instead focused on checking Orion's health. He check Orion's heart, breathing, and chart. "Well you are free to go as soon as you finish breakfast. I'd like to keep you a few more days, but you seem well enough physically."
Taking a bite of the scrambled eggs, he nodded to the doctor to show that he understood. "Soon as Damien and Aiden arrive I'll be leaving."
The nurse nodded. She at least was listening to Orion. "Well if you ever need anything you can come find us in the village. Were going to set up shop there."
"I also sent word to Doctor Shutter. Word should arrive by the time you reach him. Good luck Orion." The doctor and the nurse headed out. They left the door open though because it seemed like someone else was coming in.

Aiden lead the way but all the while, he kept glancing over his shoulder to keep an eye on Damien as if he feared Damien would turn around and leave. He had the right mindset to keep an eye on Damien but there was no need. Damien would stay true to his word even if he and Orion weren't fans of each other. Hopefully, things would remain calm and neutral. Damien didn't feel like getting into a conflict again after what they had all been through.
As the unlikely pair reached the hallway where Orion's room would be located, Aiden and Damien just saw the nurse and doctor exit it. What could have transpired within went unknown to the pair of them. Aiden, excited to see Orion again after a while, ran through the now open doorway all smiles. He knew Orion wasn't happy but someone had to be the cheerful one to try and lift the spirits of those around them. Aiden took it upon himself to be that person as he spoke.
"Hey, Orion!" Aiden said happily. While Aiden had Orion's attention, Damien slipped into the room wordlessly. Folding his arms, he said nothing as he simply glanced at Orion before looking at the rest of the room. He wouldn't interfere in the conversation between the two if there was one. It was clear here though that Orion wasn't happy. His hair and beard seemed to have grown considerably longer.

Orion put down the fork when Aiden entered the room. The kid's cheerfulness seemed to battle against the dark negativity that surrounded Orion. When he came up to Orion, the young man couldn't help smile just a tad. It was Aiden's cheerfulness and innocence that made Orion think of him as a kid.
"Hello Aiden." He told him. Standing he felt a little out of sorts dressed in a hospital robe. His clothes were in a small wardrobe ready for him whenever.
In the corner of his eye Orion caught movement and turned to see that Damien had entered the room. Orion looked past Aiden and simply gave Damien a nod. "The uh... doctor's cleared me to leave as soon as were ready. I just need to change out of these clothes."
Orion still felt depressed about his situation, but he was greatfull that Damien was giving him a chance to teleport to the new world quickly. He didn't have much time to spend on traveling across space. "Don't have much time for anything really..."
