Aiden furrowed a brow as he looked back over at Orion when he had stated that he was fine. "But-!" The teenager made to say but Orion had made himself walk at a much more brisk pace. The sudden change of pace made Aiden quicken his step to keep up with him. The forest creeped Aiden out and he didn't want to end up lost in this place by himself. Orion had caught up with Damien and then walked right past him. Aiden and Damien looked at Orion's turned back with confusion. No doubt, Aiden's words had must have struck a nerve since Orion seemed to have forced himself to walk faster.
Orion had made it ten paces ahead of them before slowing down, breathing heavily. The two caught up with Orion. Damien said nothing but he did give Orion a disapproving glance. If he hadn't been so preoccupied with Orion acting like a lunatic, he would've noticed the fog or mist much sooner. Aiden, whom was too busy worrying about keeping up with the other two, bit his lip. "Er...did I...say something wrong?" Aiden had asked Orion only for the older male to point out something, the fog.
All three were now looking around in wonder. Where did this fog come from? It didn't act like normal fog given the fact that it wasn't damp, it didn't rain and it certainly wasn't warm enough to cause fog to build up. Furrowing his brows, Damien walked a few paces ahead of the others before pausing to look around them.
"I'm not sure of what defenses they use here but obviously, this must be one of their protective barriers. It's not a normal fog..." Damien stated, glancing around. None of them were aware of the elves watching them but there was an eerie vibe as if they were being watched. Aiden stepped forward to stand next to Damien and glanced around.
"I don't see any of the elves though. Are you sure this could be the right area?" Aiden questioned Damien.
"Either that or we just walked right into another hell without knowing it...or both." Damien responded, Aiden giving a disgruntled look.
"That's...not helping."
"Just be on your guard."

Orion would have answered Aiden if he wasn’t so infatuated by the sudden appearance of the fog. Just where had this come from? ”Sh…Should we keep moving forward?” Confidence shaken, Orion didn’t know what to do. He was not the type to get flustered often, but he could not explain just when the fog had appeared. The unknown shook his confidence.
“I don’t know where we are… But this forest keeps getting creepier.” There was a sort of eeriness to the area. Orion couldn’t help but feel like there was something out there. Glancing behind him, Orion swore that he felt like someone was watching them… That or something… Either way he didn’t think standing still was a good idea.
Turning back towards Damien and Aiden, Orion looked to them to hear there answer. Damien had strolled a couple paces past Orion and was glancing around in wonder. Aiden seemed to be doing the same as well. Looking past Damien, Orion laid eyes on a strange shadowy figure in the distance. ”Hey, is that a person?” Orion asked, pointing at it. When he did the figure shot forward away from them!
”Hey wait!” There was no time to wait. Orion ran forward chasing after the figure. Damien and Aiden would have to just catch up. Orion wouldn’t get too far though either way. With the poison in his system he’d only make it maybe forty to fifty feet before he was winded. But he didn’t think about that. Nor did he feel the tightening of his chest as he had prior to the mist appearing, when he had shot past Aiden to prove he still had energy.
The elfs at the watchtower glanced at each other in confusion. Who was on the outside of the wall?! No elf was supposed to be on the outside of the wall unless he was banned! There hadn't been a Banning for over a thousand years! And only an elf could move through the mists in a way where it was actually possible to walk through them either to the front of the wall or out.

The note of uneasiness in Orion's voice did not go unnoticed. Hearing how scared or uneasy Orion was made Aiden feel even more scared. By around this time, Damien would find himself looking back at two obviously scared men. Well, one was a teenager but still! As Damien had heard Orion, he turned to look over at him with a raised brow. Should they keep moving forward? Well, every fiber of his being was telling him that this wasn't such a good idea but Aiden and Orion had wanted to come here. It was that or turning back and finding no cure, allowing Orion to die.
"...Why is it that I've suddenly become the one leading you two on when you were the two that wanted to come here?" Damien questioned them both, his tone of voice void of anything negative or positive. Aiden just stood in place, looking all around as if he expected something to pop out. There was no denying the fact that they were all being watched by something. Aiden and Damien could feel someone or something was staring at them from somewhere. It wasn't easy to tell though where the gaze or gazes were coming from though in all of this. As Orion spoke, Damien gave a slight sigh.
"Y-Yeah, it's creepy alright!" Aiden said, sticking close to Damien and Orion. When Orion had moved to turn toward them, Aiden had jumped a bit to look over. His heart beat started to calm when he realized that it had only been Orion moving. Well, it would have if Orion hadn't scared the wits out of him again by speaking up, mentioning a person. Turning to look in wonder, Aiden saw a figure dart away from them when it had been pointed out. Damien, having also seen it, furrowed his brows.
Without waiting, the figure darted off trying to get away from them. Damien wasn't sure if following the figure would be a good idea but it was worth the shot. Orion had a good head start on all of them though. Having seen and reacted first to the figure, Orion was able to take off at a run after the figure to give chase. Damien and Aiden brought up the rear as they too tried to chase the figure. "H-HEY! W-Wait for me!" Aiden called behind Damien and Orion, bringing up the absolute rear.
Damien was hot on Orion's heels. He couldn't see anywhere ahead since Orion was blocking his view but he was intent on locating this mysterious figure. If it really was an elf that would explain their reason for running away. Then again, they could be running after anything. Damien was wondering if following the figure was such a good idea but what choice did they have? This could be a means of finding that cure. Then, Damien could probably wander off and do his own thing once all was said and done after helping out with figuring out if there were any truth behind Orion's dream. As they ran, Damien called out after the figure.
"HEY!"

Orion ran after the figure, but he did not account for his own health. As a result he was forced to begin slowing his pace when his test began to tighten. Damien, who wasn't too far behind him, no doubt would catch up in any moment. When Damien shouted out "hey" they had reached within fifteen feet of the figure. They were gaining speed! Well Damien was anyway. Eyes glanced at them from behind two black holes in a forest green wooden mask.
Upon closer examination Orion noticed that the figure was wearing a dark green cloak that was tied around the figure's body with a red sash. Brown gloved hands hid the colored skin from Orion's view. But none of that mattered to Orion. It was the two pointed ears that stuck out of slits of the pulled up hood that made Orion's heart skip. "An elf!" He shouted the discovery in surprise.
From the watchtower, the state of the guards could only be describe as restless. The current events had them worried, and for a very good reason. The elf that Damien, Orion, and Aiden followed was leading them might seem like random directions in the eyes of the humans. The elf they followed was jolting left, than right, then continuing north, than left again. In the actual spring of things the humans weren't moving as far as they seemed either. The mists covered only about forty feet around the wall. Normally people caught within the mists would continue walking in actual circles. They'd never leave the mists, eventually being forced to stop. Once they stopped the elves normally would exit and finish off the strangers in their domain.
The reason for their worry was the unknown elf down below. Whoever it was, they were actually leading them in the right direction. The question that remained to be answered was what direction was the elf leading them in? Towards the wall or towards the exit of the mists. Only elves, or those with elvan blood, were unaffected by the mists.
Back down below the chase continued. Orion quickly learned that the elf they followed was playing with them. Orion, now running in line with Aiden because his strength was continuing to wean, watched Damien seemingly gain ground on the elf only to loose it again as the elf let out a burst of speed that stretched the distance back to fifteen feet. "Damn!.... He's...playing...with...us..." Orion said through his labored breaths.
Things continued this way until all at once things stopped. The elf suddenly came to a stop just as the mists around them disappeared. Back at the watch tower the elves gained there answer. For the first time in centuries a group of humans had managed to escape the mists, all thanks to the betrayal of an elf!

Damien was used to running a lot. In the past, he had to at times. He had to be physically fit to be in his position. No one could be out of shape in his position or people would easily get killed off or captured. Of course, Damien hadn't ever experienced being captured before. His instant portal ability often frustrated those whomever tried. It amused Damien greatly whenever he watched from somewhere else as his foes tried to figure out where he had gone cursing him. So, while Orion was slowing down, Damien was still moving at a surprisingly good speed for a human. He was no elf in terms of speed but Damien was a bit faster than a regular human being. Damien's forte wasn't his strength but his speed and evasion.
As Damien had given a shout, the figure had turned their head to look over at them. Whomever they were they had a mask over their face. There was no mistaking the pointed ears though when Orion pointed out that the figure was an elf. What a strange strike of luck. Even still, that didn't mean the elf would purposely help them. Damien wasn't expecting it of the elf but the least they could do ws try to communicate with it. Did it even understand English? Elves were said to have a language all their own.
Damien ran as hard as he could to keep up with the elf. Every time it seemed like they were getting closer to the figure, they'd take off with yet another burst of speed. No way could he contend with the speed of an elf! Still, Damien wasn't going to let up on the chase. He really couldn't understand why he was driving himself so much to do so. Maybe it was because he was bored and had nothing else to do but help Orion and Aiden? That had to be it. After all, wandering on his own with no real set objective didn't sound as thrilling as getting one's self into trouble. Orion and Aiden were definitely looking for trouble. The elves would not take kindly to humans.
As the chase continued, Damien could hear Orion's words coming out in panted breaths. No doubt the chase was taking a heavy toll on Orion's body. Still, Damien couldn't slow down. He had his gaze fixed on the fleeting figure of the elf. He had no idea that the elf had a set pattern to where it was going. None of them even realized that this elf was actually helping them out of this strange magical fog. Damien didn't respond as Aiden brought up the rear. Aiden wasn't as fast as Damien and he was still somewhat young and shorter than the other two males. So, inevitably, he brought up the rear calling out for the others to wait for him without really intending for them to wait for him. It was just a complaint for him.
Before either lost their edge in running, before Orion or Aiden would probably collapse from all the running they were doing, they had suddenly come to an abrupt stop. Skidding to an abrupt halt, Damien saw that the elf had suddenly ceased running. It didn't register just yet that they had come out of the mist alive. He wasn't even sure that the mist was actually a magical barrier that would have had them wandering in circles until they eventually died. When he slowed and stopped, Damien took a short moment to catch his breath before speaking.
"...Hello?" Damien called out to the elf uncertainly. If he had to fight, he was prepared to summon his sword. Of course, that didn't seem like they needed to. For some strange reason, it looked as if they had come to what appeared to be a wall. Damien had glanced at it in wonder for a short second before letting his gaze return to the back of the elf that had lead them here. For some reason something told him that if the elf really wished to lose them they could have easily done so. Had they been leading them here?
Aiden brought up the rear, huffing and puffing but not nearly as badly as Orion might have beem. "Never...ran...so fast and...s-so long in my...my life!" he said overdramatically. Aiden had been trained harshly when he was younger before he ran away from his home but even a run that long wore him down.

Orion was not ready for the sudden stop of running. As Damien's back came closer and closer, Orion forced his legs to stop. As a result he tripped and was sent a rolling across the earth. Stopping next to a mentally prepared Damien, Orion was more focused on fighting back the pain of falling. "That...hurt..." He huffed, complaining about the pain he currently felt on his back and skinned legs. Tripping and rolling on the ground was really the least of things to worry about. Orion just didn't know about it yet.
The elves at the watchtower were in a frenzy. The tall wall, approximately thirty feet tall, that stood in front of Orion and crew was organized into different sections made up of watchtowers. Each watch tower stood a whole twenty feet taller than the wall. There were enough elves stationed at the wall to cover ever arrow slot within the arches of the wall. From Orion's position he just had to look to the left to see the tower portion of the wall, about thirty feet away from their current position. The door to those walls burst open with a bang as a variety of different looking elves piled out of it. All of them had either bows in their hands or on their backs.
Hearing the patter of over thirty people running, Orion glanced up at the wall. What a bad time to do so! One by one the elves positioned themselves at different portions along the wall so that they had a clear shot on them. There had to be at least thirty arrows pointed at them at that moment.
"Xun naut mumbaro!" A masculine voice shouted. From the watchtower the Watch Lord, the captain of the watchtower, addressed the strangers to his land. It took till the owner of the voice was directly in front of their portion of the wall before Orion spotted him. From here he could only see his upper torso and head. Long blue hair was tied into a pony tail of what appeared to be a middle aged elf. Hard eyes were scorned and accompanied a set frown that made it clear to Orion and company that this elf was not one bit happy.
He was donned in what looked like a red coat of some sort with a brown turtle neck underneath. His hand accusingly pointed down at them. "Lu'oh kuuv dos! Dos sila've rivven ghil! Jous dosstan xor el!" The elf spat out the words, his face going red.
Orion picked himself off the ground and raised his hands in a show of harmlessness. "L...look were not here to pick a fight, but we can't understand you." Orion tried to explain. He had no clue as to what these elves were saying. They were speaking in a language he didn't understand.
The elf in front of them lifted his hands. From behind, Orion spotted that the elf wore brown fingerless gloves. Pulling back the hood revealed long strands of short cut hairs. The length was short enough to still be a typical shaggy man's hair cut and just long enough to be considered a woman's hair cut as well. With the mask still on it was impossible to tell the gender of the person, especially with the cloak that was tied around the elf.

Aiden had to stop himself when Orion had tripped and fell in front of him. If he had kept going he would have tripped over Orion and gone flying. Thankfully, he had managed to stop himself although he teetered on the spot before he managed to catch his balance and keep himself from falling over his friend. By the time he had regained his balance, all chaos had broken loose. It all happened so fast that Aiden blinked back at the elves that had shown up. Aiden didn't understand a word of what the elf was saying to them.
Damien blinked as elves came swarming out of the wall and towers above. No doubt, they had probably detected them coming close into the area. What the first elf said though made Damien furrow a brow as he gave the elf a confused expression. Just what the hell was he saying? It was clear to him though that this elf wasn't pleased about something. The elf that had lead them here didn't seem to be in good standing either. Who was that elf anyway?
Behind him, Damien heard Orion speak first. Slowly, Damien looked over at him and saw that Orion was raising his hands in surrender to show he meant no harm. Would they understand that gesture? Bringing his gaze back toward the elf that brought them here, Damien could see the elf raise their arms too in surrender. Bringing his gaze back onto what appeared to be the lead elf, Damien slowly rose his arms as he watched the elves carefully. Aiden, seeing the others do the same, rose his arms too.
"Whoa! We didn't mean any harm!" Aiden said. Damien wished he could shut the kid up. There was no telling what the elves would do hearing them talking to them in English.

The elves did not respond to Orion or Aiden. Their bows did not move an inch, nor did the head elf even look to have registered the words that Orion or Aiden said. All of this was just so darn confusing.
"Sina naa n' forya! Ron cael il' forya nae coi vee' lye uum." The elf in front of them responded in a muffled voice. The elf brought his arm up to the mask, grasped it, and pulled it off.
The eye's of the elf on the wall squinted as he shouted, "Llie!" Pointing an accusing finger at the elf down below he continued. "Llie naa enna en' i' Tanar'ri! Ndengin he, re naa hakar!" At the end of that sentence the elves drew their bows back and every bow clearly turned to the elf in front of them.
The elf in front of them was a woman. Well a young woman. Orion guessed that she was probably the same age as Aiden, at least she appeared to be. Emerald eyes, white skin, and the beauty of a youthful elf gazed up at the angry elf up above. "Ndengin amin manka llie que, leha Amin lav i' yaara gela en' vara nesh los gwaith!"
Their rescuer stood firm before the deadly arrows pointed at her and responded back in the unknown language. The complexion of the elf upon the wall changed fairly quickly after that. There was no hiding the surprise on his face. Raising his hand, Orion wondered if this was the signal for their end. If they killed this elf there was no doubt they'd kill them too!
However it was Orion's turned to be surprised. Instead of loosing their arrows, the elfs lowered their weapons. "It is alright. They will not harm you. I have invoked the ancient rite of hospitality. According to the Laws they must grant us access to the land now." The elf in front of them spoke in english!

Damien noticed that neither of the elves seemed to respond to anything Orion or Aiden had said. It was either they didn't recognize their language or they simply chose to ignore them for the time being. Their eyes were all fixed on the elf in front of them it seemed. Judging by the way the other elves were acting it were as if they didn't like what this elf had done. The elf had been done something they were probably not suppose to do. At least, that's all Damien could grasp which was most likely no better than what the others had to be thinking right now. At least they managed to make contact with the elves. However, it wasn't clear how things would get here. There was no telling if these elves would even want to help them aside from simply killing them on the spot. Even Damien couldn't move fast enough to avoid arrows shot at them from elves. Elves were known to be the most agile beings in the worlds.
Aiden looked confusedly between the elves trying to understand a thing of what was being said but he wasn't getting anywhere. None of them spoke elven tongue so none of them knew what any of them were saying. All he did was remained rooted to the spot with his arms raised in surrender to show he meant no hostility toward the elves. If he dared to move, Aiden feared he would be shot or something. So, he remained in place and simply watched finally understanding that quiet would do them good in this.
The elf before them exchanged a series of words with the head elf of the ones that came at them with bows. It looked like some kind of heated discussion before the elf in front of them removed their mask. It was a female elf and she didn't look much older than Aiden in appearance. Of course, she could very well be far older than she looked for all they knew. It looked like they were going to be shot down. Damien braced himself for the worse but it never came. Instead, the elves around them after a brief exchange and obvious surprise shown on the head elf's face, had lowered their bows. It was to their surprise next that the elf whom had lead them here was now speaking in fluent, plain English.
Aiden lowered his arms, relieved to be finally doing so since they had been getting tired being up in the air for a moment. "Whew! That was a close one, thank you!" Aiden said. Damien really could never understand how Aiden could seem to speak to others as if he were talking to some close friend of his. Since there was no need to be raising his arms anymore, Damien had lowered them.
"...You have our thanks. We did not come here to raise any alarms or cause any harm. In fact, we were here in search of this land to find a cure to the poison in which our friend here is ailed with." Damien didn't want to dare lie to these elves. He had a feeling they might be able to see the true nature in someone's heart if one wasn't careful. Damien would rather not be in conflict with elves, especially such a large number of them. For once, he actually found himself more wary than he ever had when in Ivan's presence. It was probably because these elves were pretty alien to him compared to what appeared to be human.
"Yeah, our friend Orion here's infected with it. We were told that the poison might have a cure found only here that only you would probably know since you live here. Of course...we don't expect it to be for free or anything, we're willing to do what we must if it means saving our friend's life." Damien, at this, turned his head to look over at Aiden and furrowed his brows at him. Once again, the kid had an annoying habit of volunteering him into doing something without asking Damien first. It's not like he wouldn't but it would have been nice to have been asked first.

With things happening so quickly, Orion shot a look at both Damien and Aiden when they revealed the reason for their coming here. "Um... this is my ailment. Why does everyone keep spitting out the information without asking me first?" In the back of his mind Orion knew that Damien and Aiden were just trying to help, but every time they approached someone new it seemed the two were giving out the information as if Orion couldn't speak for himself.
It was slightly annoying, but there wasn't anything Orion could do about it. His frustration did come out in a sigh as he let his arms down as well. The elfs on the wall had lowered their bows, but they continued to gaze down at the strangers from their current position. The female elf who had saved them glanced over at Orion. With her eyes on him, Orion glanced down because it made him feel awkward.
"I see... You need to see a medicine man from one of the villages. He might have the answers and the means that you seek." Turning back to the head elf she said, "Let us in Jorildyn! They are my guests!"
Jorildyn, whom Orion guessed was the name of the angry elf, crossed his arms. "Amin teshuel neh imb aul sina. Ta naa arta llie coia,Sheera tinu en Tethir. Let them in."
The moment Jorildyn finished his sentence a portion of the wall suddenly vanished. One moment the wall was whole and the next there was a fifteen foot by fifteen foot gap in it. The spectacle made Orion wonder where it went. The wall looked very solid and stable a second ago and now part of it just vanished. "Elfan magic..." That was the only credible explanation he could think of.
Still all of this worried Orion. Why was this elf helping them, when it was clear that the elves above were angry at her for doing so. What did she gain out of all of this? And were they really safe? Could they really trust her? Orion didn't know, and he had no way of knowing either. He could ask, but now didn't feel like the right time. Especially when they were still in firing range of those bows. "People do things for a reason. Everything has a motive." Orion was reminded of his master's words as the female elf in front of them began to walk towards the opening in the gate. "I really hope this isn't a trap." He said softly to Damien and Aiden in hopes that only they could hear.

Damien figured that cutting right to the chase would merit swifter results. The sooner they got what they needed to get done, the better. After all, judging by the reaction of the elves with the bows, Damien was certain that they didn't like the company of humans. At least, that's how it seemed to be. If anything, Damien just wanted to get things done so they could go about their merry way and look into what Orion had said he had seen. The dream Orion had seemed too vivid to be a mere dream. As the elf girl looked in Orion's direction, she finally mentioned that they should meet with a medicine man in one of the villages. Hopefully, the medicine man would have what Orion needed and he would be cured of his ailment.
Once the elf maiden was done speaking to them, she turned toward the elves above and requested that they open the door to permit them entry, claiming the three humans were her guests. Damien wasn't sure why this she elf would want to help them. It did seem sort of fishy that she would wish to aid them. He couldn't be sure of her motives. If she had wanted to kill them, she could have easily left them behind in that barrier or killed them herself considering her speed. Maybe there was something more that somehow involved them? What, Damien couldn't figure out. Maybe it really was her being charitable but that was difficult to see it as that.
After the female elf had spoken, the lead elf complied and permitted them entry. Damien blinked at what had occurred. At first, there was a wall and the next, it was gone leaving a gap in the wall large enough to allow them entry. "Whoa! That's cool!" Aiden suddenly said from behind them all. Damien let out a light sigh at the kid's reaction.
The female elf didn't seem to hear as she simply started to walk ahead of them through the hole in the wall. Damien started to follow her as he heard Orion's voice. Orion could be right. This could be some sort of trap but for what? They could have just killed them out there. Why capture them? What would be the point? If anyone knew Damien's former organization, he could see why they would be captured. Before they were to be killed, they would be tortured and interrogated for information. Damien hoped his history hadn't chased them all the way here. Aiden and Orion were technically innocent.
What met their eyes when they entered the elven realm for the first time was startling. Structures were very much like how human towns or cities were but then there were things about the realm of the elves that were definitely superior or alien. Damien had to wonder just how the elves had made some of their structures because of how bizarre some of them even were.
"Wow, this place is awesome!" Aiden piped up as he got a good look around while they were walking in.

The elf by their side smiled at Aiden's comment. "This is the heart of our home. The central village in the entirety of the Kingdom. From here there are several roads that lead to a variety of other small villages. You are seeing what very few humans ever have." Orion had to say that this place was truly a wonder. It was exactly like a city, with structures, homes, and elfs going about their business. That is, until they noticed. Upon the sight of the humans, the elfs literally balked then scurried away like frightened dear. The elf at their side was given many a look of horror and distrust.
There was definitely no feelings of welcome. Orion would have liked to spend some more time just gazing at the different structures and gawking at them like a child. But with the variety of stares and elfs he just didn't feel comfortable doing that.
Magic was used in the build of every structure of this place. The structures were all combined with the earth in some way. For example their crew passed by a simple elf's home that had been made out of one of the trees. Instead of using the wood, the actual tree had expanded and grown in a way that the base formed a house. All of these structures held a beauty that Orion had never seen before, yet nonetheless admired.
"Where can we find the medicine man that you spoke of?" Orion asked. He was still weary of the elfs around them.
"Mani naa sina?! Humans in the Kingdom?!" A voice called from their right. It belonged to a middle aged elvan female with strawberry blond hair, green eyes, and dressed in a plain white dress. Her hair was tied in a braid that stretched down to her back. She was accompanied by an elderly elf dressed in an extravagant robe of red and purple. His face and body was wrinkled, with medium cut gray hair, sagging brown eyes, and holding a staff as he walked.
The elf stopped as she turned to the newcomers. "Zhuanth Uss!" Their guide bent down onto one knee and bowed her head in obvious respect. It made Orion feel out of place, wondering who these people were and if he should bow as well.
"Peace, Natalia." The elderly elf told the female elf by his side, resting his arm on her shoulder. "Rise child. Welcome back to the Kingdom. Might you introduce your guests?"
The elf glanced back at Damien, Aiden, and Orion, a look of worry crossing her face. She must have just realized that she did not know any of their names.

Damien and Aiden listened as the elf girl explained that the village before them was the center of the elven realm. From this one central village roads branched out to smaller ones. They were being given quite an honor to see such a sight since not many humans ever tread here before. Still, why give them such an honor? Could it be because the elves had wanted to finally come out of their sanctuary? That was highly doubtful given the fact how the common elves were reacting to them. A lot of them seemed to have ran and hid upon spotting them. Damien remained calm. No need to draw his sword unless he had to. Hopefully, there would be no need for him to do so.
Aiden didn't seem to take notice of all the stares. Instead, he remained seemingly oblivious to the unwelcome gazes they were being given. "Wow, it's really beautiful." His eyes fell on the interesting structures of homes at the base of trees as if the home had simply grown from the tree itself. That was rather an interesting thing. Aiden had never seen anything like it. He couldn't help but gape in awe. While they went, he heard Orion just in front of him question the elf as to where the medicine man was. Bringing his attention back toward Orion. No sooner had he said this when another voice was heard, no doubt elvish.
Damien heard a woman's voice and looked over at the sound of it. There was what looked to be a middle aged elf woman and an elderly one. Exactly how old, well one could only guess. Like all the other elves, they were surprised to find humans in their kingdom. The elf whom had helped them had bowed before the elderly elf and the middle aged one. As she did so, the elderly elf had told the middle aged one to settle down before speaking to the elf who brought them here. No sooner had the elder instructed the one bowing to rise when he finally asked her if she could introduce them. It was the perfect time for Aiden to step in once more. Damien wasn't sure how they were going to look as if the elf girl here knew them enough to bring them all in as guests.
"Pardon me, sir, my name's Aiden Wilder. A pleasure to meet you!" Damien stepped in next, bowing to the elves despite being uncertain about their situation. A sign of respect none the less as he had placed a hand over his heart for added respect.
"And I would be Damien...Stark." It was difficult for him to remember his last name wasn't Quentin when he had been going by that for years. It felt almost alien to be referring to himself as a Stark but he knew that he couldn't claim to be a Quentin when he didn't descend directly from Darious Quentin. No, Ivory Quentin was whom Damien had descended from including Marcus Stark. Damien was a Stark and he had to keep reminding himself that. Now was Orion's chance to introduce himself.

Orion was the only one left to still introduce himself. He felt all the attention turn to him, and immediately Orion wondered just how should he introduce himself. Truthfully he didn't feel like he had a right to his last name anymore. Especially since he was outcast. Than how should he introduce himself? "You can't just stand here like an idiot. Your drawing unnecessary attention to yourself."
Stepping forward Orion just said the first thing that came to his mind. "And I am Orion, former Prince of the Enchanted Domain." Surprisingly there was no questioning looks from the elder elf or his companion. The elf had smiled at each of them in kind when they had introduced themselves.
He stepped forward and spoke. "Be welcome Aiden Wilder, Damien Stark, and Prince Orion. I am the Chief Elder, and this is Ava, she is my Tua, my helper."
Ava, the elf standing next to them, crossed her arms and leaned in to speak to the elderly elf. "Elder. Humans are not supposed to be allowed in the Domain. Please! Let us just sent Natalia and her guests back into the wild."
The Elder very simply rested his hand on Ava. "Peace Ava. This is a time for celebration. One who was lost is now able to return. It is thanks to her guests that this is possible. I thank you Damien, Aiden and Orion. You have returned our Natalia to the kingdom."
"But the law!.." Ava interjected once more.
Irritation crossed the elder's face for the briefest moment before it disappeared into a cool demeanor. "My Tua. I was alive when the laws were first written. Laws are written to one day be changed. Rise Natalia. And be welcome. Tell me... What is the nature of your bringing the humans?"

Damien found it curious that the elder elf didn't seem to be questioning about their names or origin. As Orion had finished introducing himself, Damien and Aiden listened as the elder welcomed them before introducing himself. He was the Chief elder and the middle aged female elf next to him was his helper, Ava. Natalia, it turned out, was the name of the elf that had helped them get into the realm of the elves. Ava, whom had leaned in to tell the elder they should send them away, had been the one to really reveal Natalia's name. Not that the elder hadn't spoken Natalia's name before but it had been easy to mistake the elder for speaking to Ava first and not Natalia.
As the Chief Elder spoke, he had rested his hand on Ava's shoulder. According to the elder, this was suppose to be a time for celebration. At that, the Chief elder turned to them to thank them for returning Natalia to the kingdom. Damien and Aiden looked puzzled at this. They thought they had brought Natalia here? Natalia had been the one to bring them here, not the other way around!
"Er...no disrespect..." Aiden had made to say but the bickering between Ava and the Chief Elder had drowned out what Aiden was trying to tell them. In fact, it looked as if the argument between the elder and Ava distracted the two from the rest. All they could do was look on before the Chief Elder claimed that he had been around when the Laws had been made. According to the elder, all Laws were meant to be changed one day. Once he had said his two cents, he instructed Natalia to rise and welcomed her. Only then did the elder ask Natalia the nature of why she had brought the humans here. The humans, meaning Damien, Aiden and Orion. For the moment, Damien remained quiet. Aiden seemed to be doing the same for once as they all listened in.

Natalia glanced back and forth between the humans and the elfs. The chief elder's question was one that Orion would have like to ask her. Why had she brought them to the Enchanted Domain? "Well..." She began. "To be honest elder I just couldn't leave them to die in the mists. I've never met them before."
The elder nodded in understanding, being very careful to keep his face neutral. There was no telling how he felt about Natalia's action. "He reminds me of father." Orion's father had a talent similar to the chief's. He could be very controlled when it came to reacting to people's words. As a king one had to be able to control their expression, especially in the courts.
"Well welcome. Surely you three must have reasons for seeking out our people. What is it that brought you to our Kingdom?" Orion knew that if he didn't answer, Aiden or Damien would. For once he was going to control what people said about him. So he stepped forward and responded before Aiden and Damien could.
"Were here because of me. I've been inflicted with a poison that was uncurable by our people. We were told that the elves might help us. So we decided to come here." There. Orion had said it, and he had done so while revealing as little about himself as possible. He spoke just the bare essentials.
The elder nodded to Orion in the same manner he had to Natalia, with a controlled neutrality. "I see. Ava why don't you take our guests to Droth. He is our healer in this village. He is young, but very talented for his age." Glancing over at Ava, Orion watched her already sour expression turn spoiled. It looked like helping them was the least thing she wanted to do. The chief elder gestured to Natalia. "Why don't you and I spend some time speaking? I would like to hear of what news you bring of the outside world." Looking over his shoulder he spoke one last time to Damien, Aiden, and Orion. "Additionally I would love to hear more about yourselves after you deal with the poison."

Damien had wished to hear what Natalia would say in response to what the elder would like to hear. Aiden and Damien were both quiet, no doubt Aiden understanding that this was something they would all like to know for themselves. As Natalia replied, it was revealed that the elf girl couldn't just leave them in the mists where they could have died. Well, Damine had been right in that there was an eerie feel to that mist back there. If Natalia hadn't come along, they could have died. That would have been the end of the three of them, Orion the first out of them to go if they had been left to the mists. Damien searched the chief elder's face for a hint of a reaction but it looked controlled. It was an expression that Damien recognized well only because others of authority wore a somewhat similar expression. The four heads never had to since they alwys kept their hoods up but when faced with others, Damien had seen that kind of expression.
The Chief Elder then focused on Damien, Aiden and Orion. Orion must have gotten annoyed with Aiden always being the blabber mouth since he had been the one to step forward first to speak. Damien almost snickered as Orion took a step forward and explained their situation. Damien and Aiden both gave a nod at what Orion said, the story clearly not new with either of them. Damien had been filled in on what had happened in Dr. Shutter's office.
It wasn't clear if the Chief Elder accepted their explanation. Instead, he had Ava lead them to where the healer would be. As the Chief Elder spoke to Natalia, he then directed a set of words toward them. That he would like to get to hear more about them once the poison was dealt with. Damien wasn't sure what he should say. Instead, he merely nodded as Ava started to walk with the most sour expression on her face. Who was to say that she would even lead them to the right place? Also, what should Damien say? He didn't think revealing he was part of the Organization of the Dark God would be a good idea. It's not like he was a part of it anymore but people were trying to find them and interrogation would surely be one of the things entailed if anyone found out who he was. Elves, here, could likely do it to Damien too since he believed their magic was potent enough to prevent him from ripping open a portal to escape.

Ava stepped forward as the elder chief and Natalia took their exit. Orion couldn't help but feel slightly uncomfortable in this place. "I feel like a fly in a web of spiders." This elf clearly wanted nothing to do with them, so who knew what might happen. While Orion didn't think that she'd lead them into a trap, there was no telling with elfs. The only elfs Orion knew were the two they continuously ran into. "And they've repeatedly tried to kill us."
"Follow me then." She told them. Without even waiting for a response the female elf spun on her heels and walked off. Man was she rude or what?!
Shaking his head and wondering just what they were getting into, Orion followed her. She led them away from the more central part of the village. The strange wondrous structures began to grow more scarce as they walked away from the village center. Leaning over to Aiden, Orion tried to speak in a hush tone so that his words wouldn't be heard by the elf. "Wouldn't a healer be located in the center of town where they would be more accessible?" He asked him.
"Droth is the only healer within twenty miles. There are two more villages that are within the area that call upon his services. We are not like you humans." She snapped as soon as Orion had spoken. Orion hadn't expected her to hear and had actually come to a stop when she responded. Starting forward again, Ava continued. "I will answer any questions you have. I might not like your being here, but I will respect the elder's wisdom, may Gaia keep him with us for the years to come."
Orion had no clue as to who Gaia was, but he was glad that Ava wasn't going to cause them any trouble. Well he would follow her as she went.
((OOC: Feel free to control Ava and add things and what not. I don't have any plans besides small talk until they reach the healer.))

Damien watched as Natalia and the Chief Elder left them. Would Ava obey the elder's orders where they were concerned? As Damien brought his gaze back toward Ava, he figured that she may not disobey him. Of course, givne the fact they had run into elves more times than one while they were outside of this world, there was a chance that she might have them disposed of by some means. They would have to tread lightly. If Ava didn't show hostility toward them, another elf easily could. Hopefully, they wouldn't be around that long for someone to attack them like that.
Without saying anything else, Ava told them to follow her. Not even looking at them, she had set off walking down a certain direction. Damien, Aiden and Orion followed her as she went. While they were walking, Aiden looked over at Orion as he suddeny leaned over to him and spoke in a hushed tone. As Orion spoke, Aiden had to wonder the same thing. Yes, why would they leave the central of town when a healer should be in the center of all villages where they would be needed most?
Before Aiden could voice the question Ava spoke up. Obviously, she had heard Orion speaking to Aiden since she was answering that. Her hearing was quite keen. They would have to be careful about what they said around the elves since even if they seemed out of earshot, they could hear very well. Droth, the healer, was apparently the only one in a certain amount of space. There were only two other villages that required his services. Aiden blinked at that. Before Orion or Damien could even consider that Aiden would say anything, the kid did.
"How come there's only one healer in the area?" Aiden had asked her. Ava didn't look his way, just simply walked onward.
"We're not like you humans. Our healers are not in as much abundance as your own." She didn't say more on the subject. Her speaking to them sounded like she'd rather not talk to them even though she answered any questions they had. As Ava informed them that she would respect the elder's wisdom, Aiden wondered what she meant by Gaia.
"Uh...pardon but...what's Gaia?" Aiden had asked her. Ava had explained how it had been the name of what they considered to be a sort of sentient being or was it Earth? Aiden really didn't graps what the elf had said. Their ways were...alien. Travel was pretty much question and answering as they made their way to where Dorth was probably at. At least, that's what Damien guessed at when they happened upon a sort of building. It was like the ones seen in the village.

Arriving at their destination, Orion glanced up at the solitary structure. Similar to the buildings in the village prior, it was crafted right into a tree. Huge roots and a truck made up the majority of the structure making it seem even more in tune with nature than say the structures back in the center of the village. Orion couldn't help but wonder just how they had created these structures. Normal trees didn't grow in such a way!
Their arrival had been seen since before they arrived, and as so an elf awaited them in front of the structure. The elder had been correct in saying that the elf was younger. He looked no older than Damien or Orion, with green eyes, black medium length hair, and dressed in brown slacks, boots, an emerald green shirt, and a white coat over it. This elf walked straight up to Ava, leaned in, and pecked her twice: once on each cheek. "Ava darling! So good to see you."
From behind, Orion noticed Ava's posture immediately stiffen when the elf came forward and kissed her on the cheeks. When he pulled back, her face was flustered, and her eyes jolted to the ground in embarrassment. "Hello Droth." She responded, revealing the name of the elf.
"Oh jeez. So this is my healer. What great fortune..." Orion thought sarcastically. Droth the elf was full of smiles, even to the three of them as he glanced over them.
"And who are these mighty fine strong men? Have you brought me a treat Ava?! Oh how you know I love my treats. But how did you get them through the barrier? You know humans are not allowed in the Kingdom, you naughty girl!" Droth's smile continued to grow as he playfully teased Ava.
Orion watched this all with a slight apprehension. Just what was this man talking about? Treats? Did he plan on eating them or something. Droth made eye contact with Orion and a smile creased the elf's lips that sent chills down Orion's spine! That was no ordinary smile! There was longing behind the elf's eyes, and it made Orion completely uncomfortable. That sort of look wasn't just given to Orion either. If Damien was caught looking at the elf, Droth would give him the same look too!
Thankfully though, Ava saved them after not long. "No silly boy. They were actually brought in by Natalia of White Oak. She proclaimed them guests, and the chief has decided to let them stay."
Droth reacted in a big way, bringing his hands up to his face in what Orion thought was an over exaggerated surprise. "Oh my!"
"I can't tell if this elf is just seriously like this, or if he's putting on a show!" Orion would have liked to get Aiden's opinion on this one, but now was not the time to ask. Meanwhile Droth was continuing on.
"Natalia of White Oak has returned! It's been two summer's since she left, the poor darling! It is good that she has returned to us. We are not meant to live outside of our home. I can't imagine what it must have been like to live in the outside world. While it might be exciting, just what would I do without my wonderful things?! Oh I could not do it Ava! i just couldn't. So why is it that you brought them to me darling?"
Ava pointed directly at Orion. "That one has been poisoned apparently. The elder asked me to take you to him and see what you can do."
"Ah they need me help do they!" Droth looked past Ava and back over to Orion. His eyes didn't stay on Orion for long though, they went over to Damien. "And what about you hunny? You sure you don't have a cold or something. I can take away all of your troubles." The way that the elf blinked after he said those words revealed that there was a secret message behind the simple statement. After Damien's reply, if he did choose to reply, the elf would give a sigh. "Ah well why don't you all come in. We'll get started on healing that poison."
