As they reached their destination, there was a lone structure and standing there, as if waiting for them, was another elf. Like Ava had said, this one was young. No doubt, this had to be Droth. In appearance, he seemed to be around Damien's and Orion's age. Aiden curiously looked back at him as the younger elf approached Ava. What he did next wasn't anything Damien or Aiden expected the elf to do in greeting. Instead of shaking one's hands or simply greeting verbally, this Droth had actually kissed each of Ava's cheeks. They were simple pecks but by the way Ava reacted, this didn't seem like a normal greeting. Nothing could prepare the three for Droth's personality though.
Droth greeted Ava despite the elder elf's reaction. Despite the awkwardness, Ava had greeted the younger elf. Droth, though bizarre in his greeting toward Ava, seemed to be a cheerful sort. However, nothing would prepare Damien for just how bizarre this young male elf's personality actually was. The next thing Droth said made Damien look as though a tidal wave had suddenly passed over them all. Aiden, even, couldn't help but blink over at the elf in confusion.
"...We're uh...not edible!" Aiden said but no one seemed to hear him. It seemed like the young Wilder believed that this elf was considering actually eating them like a Bon Bon.
Damien was definitely confused by what Droth had said. It wasn't long though before he caught on. Droth, apparently, found them attractive or something. If the look he gave Orion hadn't helped his nerves, the look Droth gave him as well certainly didn't help. Damien wasn't sure how to react. He was used to women fawning over him. Never before had he encountered a male seemingly fawning over him. Whatever the case, he knew that it caught him offguard. If anyone had been looking at Damien, they would have seen a dumbfounded expression appearing then on his face with a furrowing of his brows and brief widening of the eyes. Needless to say, Damien wasn't feeling very comfortable right about now.
It was to Damien's great relief that Ava took Droth's attention off of them briefly by informing him that Natalia had brought them here. The way the young elf reacted though was confusing. It seemed like he over reacted to things like Aiden to an extent. Maybe more dramatic than Aiden. Aiden, being the kid that he was, looked up at Droth confusedly as he scratched the top of his head in his bafflement. Droth went on about how he couldn't do it living outside of the realm of the elves. What was so bad about it? Well, maybe the dangers but humans weren't pure evil. It didn't take long before Droth had finally asked Ava why she had brought them to him. It was then that Ava explained that Orion had been poisoned.
Droth's attention returning to them made the uneasiness in Damien rise again. It's not that this elf meant them harm but the way he acted was unsettling. As he spoke to Orion, Damien hoped that he would be too focused on the issue with Orion for now. No offense to Orion but Damien would rather not have that kind of attention directed upon himself. Unfortunately, as if something sensed this, Droth had directed his attention onto Damien. Mentally, Damien cursed at the way the elf spoke to him. Yes, Damien was officially nervous even though he didn't show it. His posture was a bit rigid though.
"No...I'm fine..." Damien said, refraining from insulting the elf. Droth was probably the only one that could help Orion out. He didn't want to ruin that for Orion. Not only that but Droth didn't appear to be evil, he was just...fawning over the two of them which Damien was not accustomed to and neither did it make him feel comfortable. Hopefully, Droth would not become one of those crazy fangirls, in this case fanboy, that chased after them lustily. After what Damien had said, Droth seemed to ignore the fact Aiden was there and ushered them to follow him inside.
"...Gee, don't ask me if I'm hurt or unwell!" Aiden muttered as he followed the group inside.

As they followed Droth inside, Orion caught wind of Aiden's comment. If Droth's ears were as tuned as Ava's there was no doubt he hadn't heard Aiden. He hadn't said anything in response however, which was probably better for him anyway. The doctor led them into his home, and Orion had never seen such a home in his life!
The first thing Orion noticed was that the entire home was a single large room, approximately a fifty foot radius, that expanded the entirety of the area. The walls were nothing more than the actual inside wood of the tree. The sealing overhead was visible only for about twenty feet before it disappeared as the trunk of the tree rose straight up.
What Orion also noticed was the fact that every piece of furniture that he could see: table, chairs, dresser, bed, and even a couch, actually grew right out of the ground. It was almost as if the elfs had carved out the inside of the tree and decided to live in it! There were no fabrics, even the bed was covered in straw and wool. The inside of the tree was lit by hundreds of small glowing orbs of lights that sort of just hung overhead, giving off small spots of light. They continued to rise up through the inside of the tree until all that could be seen of them was a small little dot of light. Looking up at it made Orion think he was looking at a starry sky.
All this wonder and amazement was ruined fairly quickly by Droth's personality. "Why don't you take a seat on the bed. Normally I'd make you take me out first, but I guess your a special case." Droth told Orion. The unsubtly of Droth's words made Orion step back.
Ava thankfully stepped between him and this crazy elf. "Droth your scaring them all! Stop playing and heal them already!"
Orion didn't expect Ava to come and save him, but he was grateful that she did. Droth's answer was to just stand there and laugh. "Oh alright! Jeez, can't have any bit of fun! Well go on then! Sit down so we can get this show on the road!"
Reluctantly, Orion took a seat on the bed about fifteen paces away. Part of him hoped that if Droth made him uncomfortable, which just by being near him was already doing, Damien or Aiden would step in. Looking towards the two of them he could see that they were reluctant to get anywhere near Droth! Even Ava had stepped back.
Following Orion, Droth stood in front of Orion. "Give me your hand please." He said, stretching out his own. Orion looked at that outstretched hand like it was poisoned!
"Probably is!" He thought. Gathering his courage, Orion pushed through the discomfort and gave Droth his hand. The elf held it on his palm, and placed his other hand on top of it. The elf shut his eyes and began speaking in another language.
"Gi Ilhar jous ussa lil menvis!" Orion felt a rush of warm energy cover his grasped hand. Unknown to him the lights that continued to stretch upwards began to move. They began to circle overhead until they formed a single circle of light. From within that light a wave of white light fell from the sky and illuminated Droth. Looking up at him, Orion too was covered by the light. Within the light he was not blinded by its brightness. However those outside the light would do best to shield their eyes from what seemed like a flash grenade.
Within the light, Orion watched a third eye appear in the forehead of the elf. Droth's other two eyes were shut close, but the third eye starred right at Orion. It was a peculiar thing and it gave Orion a feeling of unease. His first instinct was to pull away and get away from the gaze of that eye. When he tried to pull his hand away, Orion found that he could not! The elf had a tight grip on it. "Do not move! I promise you that I am not trying to harm you." There was no playfulness in Droth's tone like there was earlier. This time when he spoke it was straight and to the point!
So, despite Orion's best judgement, he waited for something to happen as the eye continued to gaze at him.

Aiden looked around the home that they had appeared in. It was just a large room that everyhting seemed to have grown right out of the tree itself. Aiden had never seen such a thing before so he gaped around them in wonder. Damien took it in briefly. It was interesting to see how the elves lived but he was more focused on keeping a careful eye on Droth. He didn't like the unsubtle hints the elf kept dropping on them and he was sure Orion didn't feel that comfortable right about now. Damien, though he was grateful that the elf's attention was off of him for now, felt a little sorry for Orion. No doubt, it didn't feel pleasant to be focused on in such a way.
After they were able to take in their scenery, which looked like a starlit night sky almost considering all the interesting lights, Droth had finally returned them harshly to the present by telling Orion to sit on the bed. The way he said it though wasn't comfortable. Damien would have stepped in if Ava hadn't. The middle aged elf seemed to have sensed the tension in the air as she took it upon herself to step in. Damien was relieved that she had since he didn't want to screw up Orion's probably only chance he had left of being cured from that poison. Hearing her vouch for them was surprising. Not that Damien wasn't grateful it was just surprising since he didn't expect her to. Droth seemed to understand and had dropped how he acted for the time being getting right down to business.
Orion had sat on the bed and then, after what Damien was sure was with great reluctance, Orion had given Droth his hand. Damien was eying them carefully but Aiden was pestering him. The youth had tugged at his shirt's sleeve, asking Damien why Droth preferred people had taken him out first. Damien had silenced him by taking his right hand and placing it over the kid's face entirely engulfing it with that one hand, motioning for him to be silent. Aiden, on the other hand, didn't catch on and had protested but his voice was muffled behind the older male's hand.
Finally, Droth had shut his eyes and began to speak in another language. As he did so, a circle of light surrounded Orion and Droth. Before Damien or Aiden could react, a sudden bright light fell from on high engulfing Orion and Droth. The light had been so bright that Damien and Aiden were forced to shield their eyes in pain. The light had been so bright that it had stung their eyes. Neither of them knew what was going on between Orion and Droth at the center of the light or what Orion was even experiencing right now.

Ava was the only one outside the circle of light that seemed prepared for what was happening. She turned away from the light just before it shone down on Orion and Droth. After the initial brightness, the piercing shine of the light became adjustable. Ava was able to look at the sphere of light and see Orion and Droth within it. Both were frozen in place. As if sensing that there might be some worry about what was happening she spoke to Damien and Aiden. "Do not fear. Droth is an excellent healer. He will do all that he can to heal your friend. It might be a while before they leave the circle of light. You are welcome to stay here and wait, or you can follow me back to the village."
Inside the circle a strange occurrence was taking place. A ray of light had shot out of the eye to pierce the middle of Orion's forehead. It left his body frozen in place while his mind drifted away from the current scene. Similar to what had happened while he had been unconscious, Orion's conscious had been brought to a new place. He found himself standing on top of a white platform. Surrounding that platform was nothing but darkness. From the looks of it, the platform was about sixty feet in circumference, and Orion had appeared in the exact center of it.
"Where am I this time?" He asked himself aloud.
Appearing in front of him, Droth seemingly fizzled into existence. One moment Orion was alone, and the next Droth had stepped out of nothing and into wherever this place was.
"Were inside your heart sugar plum." He told him with a keen smile.
Doing his best to ignore the nickname, Orion crossed his arms in discomfort. "Explain..." The last time he had appeared in a strange place he had lost control of his own body. He wasn't about to let that happen again!
Droth motioned around them. "Were inside your body. Right now were standing in your heart. It's currently white because you haven't had to choose yet." The answer was cryptic and confusing. What did he mean he hadn't chosen yet? And what were they doing in his body? As if sensing his distrust, Droth continued to explain. "It's simple really. You asked me to heal you right. Well this is how we do it! We have to find the source of the poison, and you'll have to kill it."
"Can't you just kill it?" Wasn't he the doctor? If Orion remembered correctly that was what doctors were supposed to do.
"Sorry sweet cheeks, but it doesn't work that way. Our magic is different from human medicine and curing arts. I can't do much but guide you in this place. You'll have to do all the killing and stuff. Oh and take this seriously. If you die in here, your body dies with ya!"
Well that was just great! Orion wondered if he was ever going to get a break.

Damien and Aiden eventually recovered enough to squint at the light surrounding Droth and Orion now. Aiden made to step toward it but Damien grabbed him by the shoulder, preventing the kid from heading over to the light. If they did anything, they could very well screw this one up. Damien would not risk putting Orion into more danger even though the two didn't generally see eye to eye. However, he had to feel a bit tense with this whole thing. Could it be a ruse keeping them from getting to their friend? Before the thought occurred to him to help Orion, Ava spoke up.
Droth, she claimed, would do anything he could to help Orion. Damien hoped that she was right. According to the female elf, they would be here for a while. Aiden wasn't sure what to do as Damien simply kept his gaze somewhat fixed on Droth and Orion. He didn't like the idea of just leaving them there. What if someone tried interfering or something went wrong? No, Damien would remain here for now. He didn't like Orion but he wouldn't let him get killed or hurt by someone.
"I'll remain here. Thank you, though."
Aiden frowned over at Damien. Unlike Damien, he didn't know how Droth was. The kid thought he was odd but didn't realize that Droth seemed to fawn over Orion or Damien. Aiden saw nothing wrong with leaving Orion to Droth's care for a little bit before coming back to check in on him. Glancing over at Ava, he gave her a shrug.
"What could we do anyway until then but wait?" Aiden had asked her. Maybe he could drag Damien along to get him out of his stubborn, dark, suspicious and brooding mood?

Ava glanced down at the human child. "Well the elder does want to see you. He has his reasons for allowing you into our kingdom." Even if she didn't understand what exactly those reasons were, she still respected the elder. Ava had been helping the elder ever since she was a little girl. Her entire life had been spent with the elder, as his assistant. He was the oldest elf in existence, and Ava considered it an honor to be working under him. It was one of thew few jobs in the kingdom that only one person at a time could fill. It had made her feel special at the time she had been given it, and it continued to transpire that feeling within her.
Seeing that Damien was determined to stay, Ava offered to have someone come and bring him some food. It was a common courtesy no matter what race you were. If Aiden decided to stay with Damien then she would offer to have someone come bring him some food as well. If he chose to go with her, he was more than welcome too. Either way Ava was prepared to leave for now.
Orion on the other hand wanted nothing more than to leave this forsaken place. The first sign of trouble had arrived not long after they had left the heart. Droth had shown him to a pathway that went from the platform and slowly began to spiral downward. Droth had warned Orion to be careful while moving along the pathway. There were no walls to prevent him from falling into the darkness that surrounded the path. Even when Orion had looked over the edge of the path he could see nothing but a descending darkness.
"Don't fall over. That will kill you too." Droth had warned as he continued. The elf's odd personality was in full force now. Every so often he playfully commented Orion on his looks and actions. The compliments were always over the top and uncomfortable.
"When I get out of this place I am running as far away from this elf as possible." He thought to himself.
Droth was not the biggest trouble he faced though. As Droth had also explained, "Be prepared to fight. The poison has already spread pretty far through your body. The closer we get to the source, the twisted this place will come. The poison will attack you, probably in small forms of itself." At first Orion had not understood what exactly the elf meant by small forms. But he learned.
The poison took a common form, heartless looking creatures bathed in green slime that tracked it everywhere that they moved. When Orion first encountered one, it had taken him off guard. It ran towards him faster than he would have thought! As it closed in it leaped through the air with its claw like hands extended and its mouth opened. Orion summoned his sword the moment he saw the sharp canine teeth within its jaw. Slicing it as it sailed towards him, it was defeated fairly easy. The green goo that had covered it however had splashed a little on Orion's clothes. Hearing a fizzling sound, Orion quickly threw his shirt off when it became aparent that the green go was actually eating through his shirt!
"What the hell?!" He exclaimed.
Droth simply let out a laugh in response. "Well what did you expect?! There poison. There very being is made up of harmful bacteria. I said to be careful sugar plum."
Ignoring the nickname, which was starting to become a trend now, Orion continued forward.

Aiden looked back at Ava as she peered down at him, answering his question. "Hmm..."
Aiden trailed off, looking in Damien's, Orion's and Droth's directions. Damien would be able to handle anything if need be and Orion coul too. They were older than Aiden, after all. Besides, Aiden didn't think the elves here were bad people. If anything, they weren't accustomed to seeing many humans. Maybe if Aiden met up with the elder and showed he was friendly, they would warm up a bit better toward them? Bringing his gaze back onto Ava, Aiden spoke. "Alrighty, I'll go with you then. Damien and Orion can handle themselves."While Ava prepared to leave, Aiden looked back at the others one last time. "I'm going with Ava, Damien. We'll be back later." Damien gave Aiden a nod. Let the elves deal with the crazy kid for once. Still, if anything happened to him, Damien would seek revenge on anyone that dared to do the kid harm. "Alright, just be mindful of your manners and don't make yourself a nuisance for Ava or any of the elves you meet." Aiden rolled his eyes before heading out with Ava. [/blockquote]

((OOC: Oh the elves be wary! Aiden is on the loose! xD))
Ava nodded, gesturing for the human to follow her. The immediate destination was the elder's home of course. It was the largest structure in the entire kingdom, and similar to Droth's home was built right into the nature of the place. Ava brought Aiden to the largest tree once they reached the village. There a group of elves had gathered to listen to the elder who stood in front of his home.
Nearest to the elder were the children, all varying in ages and either seated on the ground or standing near their parents. The elder was addressing those who had gathered. "Tell me, why do we choose to live only in the forest?" Ava heard the elder say as they came within earshot.
One of the elvan children near the front raised his hand. "I know Elder! Mama says its so that we can be one with Gaia."
Ava knew the answer was wrong, as surely the elder did. There was no animosity or displeasure that came from the elder however. In fact he turned to the child with a smile. "While that is true young one, that is not the reason. Who can tell me? Why do we live in the forest?"
Another child, one who appeared to be near Aiden's age, near the front rose her hand. "Is it because we have lived here all our lives."
That was the correct answer. "Precisely! We choose to live our lives a certain way because that is the only way we know. Can anyone tell me of a time where you have not lived in the forest?"
Ava's eyebrows tightened at that question. Where exactly was the elder going with this line of questioning? She didn't like it. No one answered because no one could answer. Those who left the forest were no longer a part of the Kingdom. There was only one person who could answer that question, and she had brought the humans with her.
The elder continued his questioning. "How about this. Can anyone tell me why we do not allow those who leave the Kingdom to return?"
"Because it is against the law." One of the adult elfs responded.
The elder responded right in turn. "And who made it such? Why is it the law?"
Ava by now had crossed her arms and was slowly making her way towards the elder. Just what was he doing? Didn't he know that this line of questioning would only lead to trouble?! Ava had forgotten all about Aiden's existence at the moment.
"Today I chose to break the law. And I've heard the whispers in the shadows. Many of you are wondering why I have allowed an elf to return to the kingdom. Also why have I allowed humans into our Kingdom?! Well to understand the answer to that question we must go back to before my birth. Back when the Kingdom covered the entirety of this world."
And so the elder began his story. He spoke of how the elves were the natural natives of this world. How they were a people of hunters and gathers, wanders of the earth who chose to make there home where ever they went. He explained how there were different tribes, but they all worshiped the same being, Gaia. There were times that they battled with one another, but the land was always respected and never harmed.
However everything changed when the humans appeared on the world. They appeared all at once, landing via large floating ships. At first things were peaceful. The tribes that encountered the humans spoke of their abundance and the great gifts that they had traded them in exchange for showing them how to survive off the land. One day though, the elves found the humans harming the lands and using it for their own purposes. The local tribes told the humans that if they did not cease their actions that they would have to leave.
The humans had promised their cooperation in this. The mistake the elfs made was by trusting the human's words. That night the humans grabbed their weapons and hunted and killed the entire tribe. A war between the elves and the humans soon followed. While the elves had the magic of the land to aid them, the humans had their own devastating magic and weapons. The war was bloody, grotesque, and lasting for a hundred years. Finally a peace was struck between the people. The elves would be given the enchanted forest, south of the mountains, to make their home. There both nations prospered, separate from one another.
"This is why we do not leave the forest. This forest is our home and the only place that the humans had originally sworn not to touch. The treaty of old states that so long as we stay to the forest the humans will stay to their lands."
A child near the front rose her hand. "But elder... Then why are humans here? How come we have the wall?" The elder looked to the child and a look of sadness crossed his face.
"The humans are here because of a second part of that treaty. During the days of old, the warriors of our people would leave the protection of the Kingdom. During those times we did not trust the humans to stay in their lands. For that reason it was written into law that any elf that leaves the sanctuary of the Kingdom may re-enter the Kingdom by claiming sanctuary. Further more anyone who accompanies that elf also has sanctuary. The terms of sanctuary abide to all those underneath it so long as they pose no threat to the Kingdom."
"But what about the wall?" The same child asked again.
A look of sadness overcame the elder then. "That... is a story that you must ask your parents."
---------------------
Orion slammed his sword against the poison creature that attacked him from the right. His attack stabbed right through the head of the creature, and Orion had to kick the creature's body off his weapon. The acid that it left behind began to bite into the boots he wore little by little. To his right another of the creatures attacked!
There seemed to be hundreds of the damn creatures. Everytime Orion killed one, another two took its place. The acid they left off had gotten on to his skin several times and continued to slowly eat away at his skin little by little. Thankfully the poison was slow acting, but it still hurt like hell. "Have to focus. Don't think about the pain!" Orion reminded himself. Of course that was easier thought than done.
"You can't just stay here. Keep moving or you'll get trapped!" Droth told him. They were fairly close to the source. At least Orion figured that they had to be the way that the creatures continued to show up and attack. Dodging a swiping claw, Orion brought his sword around in a vertical slash. Slicing the enemy through, he had to roll forward to dodge the majority of the goo that splashed from the creature when he killed it.
Forcing himself back up to his feet, Orion spotted two more of the poison creatures coming at him from behind. "Just run!" Droth said yet again! Orion ran! He was tired, sore, and in pain. The pathway he followed had originally seemed like it was never ending. But for the last fifteen minutes or so a secondary platform had appeared in the distance. Orion just knew that he would find the source of all this there. As he ran more poison creatures appeared in his way. Some of them, Orion simply leaped over. Others he had to strike down along the way! Still he never stopped, continuing to force his way forward. Finally, just as it seemed like the heartless behind him were about to bite his heels, Orion made it onto the second platform.
The moment he did a shield of orange light sealed his back, preventing the poison creatures from entering the platform. As Orion doubled over and fought to catch his breath he glanced at Droth. The elf was standing in front of the shield with his hands outstretched. "Did you do that?!"
The elf's answer was a smile. "Why the heck couldn't you have done that before?!" Orion asked. Droth could have saved Orion a lot of pain and effort if he had.
"Don't work that way sugar. I didn't write the magic to do all this, I just use it."
Shaking his head, Orion forced himself to stand up straight. The platform they were on was exactly like the one from before. It was white in color and about the same size too. The only difference was that in the center of the platform stood... Blinking, Orion rubbed his eyes to make sure that he wasn't seeing things. Standing in the middle of the platform looked to be a mirror.

(OOC: XD Yes, worry dear elves for Aiden is free xDDD)
Aiden followed Ava obediently, making sure to not fall behind or pester the female elf as they went. When they came upon the elder's home, Aiden's eyebrows rose considerably. It was clear to him that this was the Elder's home. His home was the largest out of all the other homes nearby. As they walked over to it, Aiden could see a group of elves listening to the elder whom stood before everyone in front of his home, children sitting nearby placed directly in front of him. There were those sometimes standing next to their parents but the point that came across to Aiden was that there were quite a number of elves here.
As Ava and Aiden happened upon them, Aiden heard the Elder asking the elves around him if they could tell him why they choose to live only in the forest. Aiden blinked, listening to what the others would say. Apparently, it was because the elves wanted to be one with Gaia but that proved to be wrong. Gaia must be some sort of being the elves considered to be their god. It was a truth but not the main reason. According to the Elder, the reason why the elves lived here in the forest was because they choose to. It was the only way the elves knew how to live. Aiden rubbed the back of his head in confusion as he furrowed an eyebrow. There were many ways of living, that he was sure, but surely it couldn't be the only way they knew how to live? If they did, that would be sad since they were missing out on what else lay out there.
The Elder then questioned the elf children around him if they could tell him of a time they hadn't lived in the forest. It didn't take long for the Elder to ask them another question. No one could answer his previous question and now he was asking them about why they did not allow those that left the kingdom to return. These were all questions Aiden wondered basically given the fact that the elves had seemed so secluded from the rest of the worlds, even this world. An adult elf answered the Elder's question saying that it was against the law. Only then did the Elder question them all as to why it was against the law. Ava said nothing but Aiden could see her slowly making her way toward the Elder, Aiden silently following her. For the time being, he permitted the Elder his moment of speech with the others without interruptions since he was just as curious about all of this.
Today, the law had been broken by the Elder. He knew everyone wondered why he had done so and thus, he chose to answer their question. Aiden remained quiet, listening as the elf went over a history about the elves. How the elves had once been the true natives to this land and that the humans had basically been aliens when they came to colonize it with their Gummi Ships. Maybe that's why they hated humans so much? According to the way of things, if the elves remained in the forest then the humans would remain in their lands. It didn't take long before someone asked the chief Elder why he permitted humans in and an elf to return to the kingdom.
There was an ancient law that stated that if an elf claimed sanctuary then they were to give them it and any humans that had accompanied them so long as they didn't pose a threat. However, he never explained why there was a wall surrounding the kingdom. In fact, when he had been asked, the old elf had told the child to ask their parents about that with a sad expression on his face then. The Elder looked so sad that Aiden finally came out of his moment of silence. Walking over a bit, paying no mind to the fact that he might scare the other elves here or the fact that they might just hate him for appearing out of nowhere, Aiden spoke to the chief elder.
"...Are you going to be alright?"
---------------------------------------------------------------- Damien had been sitting at the only table in the healer's home. As he did so, he didn't dare leave. Orion and Droth were still in place. None of them moved and for some reason, since Damien couldn't really see them directly, Orion appeared to be in a trance of some kind. It was a curious thing but whatever. As long as Orion didn't end up dead, Damien didn't care what it entailed if it meant the former prince would get rid of the poison in his system. As he sat there, Damien had to roll his shoulders to keep himself from falling asleep where he sat. Every now and then, he'd look upon the two over by the bed before checking their immediate area once more. Nothing stirred and honestly, it was boring sitting there. Still, he refused to leave Orion there by himself. Aiden had left by himself. May the heavens above help the elves with that boy on the loose! As he guarded Droth and Orion, Damien wondered what the young Wilder would be getting himself into. Trouble, no doubt. Damien inwardly grumbled at his mistake. He should've grabbed onto Aiden and made him stay. Oh well, the damage had been done now. Hopefully, the repercussions wouldn't be so bad. [/blockquote]

Ava gasped when she realized that Aiden had made his way right up to the elder! How had the kid gotten out of her sight so quickly? She could have sworn that he was right beside her a second ago. Ava had no clue as to how the elder would respond to the appearance of Aiden. The crowd and elves around the elder responded typically though. There were gasps and sudden scrambles backwards as the elvan children nearest began to run away.
The older elves in turn took a step forward. "This is going to get out of hand fast if I don't do something!" Mind racing a mile a minute, Ava started towards the front. If she got in between Aiden and the rest then maybe she could prevent whatever was going to happen from happening!
"Peace!" The elder shouted out. Holding up his hands and bellowing out the words in a booming voice made even Ava stop in her tracks. She had never heard the elder speak so loudly before! She hadn't even known the elder was capable of speaking in such a tone!
Turning to Aiden, who stood by his side, the elder forced a smile. "I am quite alright child. It has just been a long day." Having answered Aiden's question, the elder turned to the elves who were about to charge the poor boy just a few seconds ago. "I am done speaking for today. Thank you for your ears. I reiterate that the humans here are not to be harmed."
One by one the elves slowly began to wander away until all that was left in the immediate vicinity was Aiden, Ava, and the elder. Crossing her arms Ava spoke up. "That was reckless." Ava stated as a fact.
The elder simply waved Ava away with a whisk of his hand and a "Bah!" Added with it. The elder turned towards his home and slowly made his way towards it. Ava walked forward, pausing next to Aiden.
"In you go." She said, gesturing for him to follow the elder inside.
------------------
Orion slowly approached the center of the platform. "What... no wise words for that?" Orion asked Droth as they neared the mirror. Droth chose to remain silent. "The one time I want to hear the elf and he refuses to talk"
"This is different..." Droth told him. Orion waited for the elf to continue, but he didn't. With nothing else to do but face the music, Orion stepped over to the mirror. There his reflection awaited him. Looking at himself, Orion could see that he was a look for sore eyes. There was nothing pretty about his appearance. Long hair, unkempt beard, naked chest and pants and boots covered in holes from acid. Additionally Orion spotted bags under his eyes and his skin seemed somewhat paler than what he was accustom to it looking.
"What happened to me? What did I do to myself?" Orion asked aloud. Stepping closer to the mirror, Orion sought to look at the details of his appearance. As he walked forward so too did the Orion in the mirror. Mimicry was the mirror's game, and it was one that did not seem to bother most people. It bothered Orion however when his image literally stepped right out of the mirror!
And when Orion came to a stop in surprise, the image suddenly broke its mirroring quality. Orion's reflection suddenly took on a ghastly appearance, its body loosing all details as it was replaced by a liquid darkness that was covered in green poison ooze. The creature, for it barley looked like Orion anymore except for its general outline, summoned a sword that mimicked Orion's own.
"What in the hell?!" Orion barley got the words out before he was forced to leap back to dodge an over the head strike from the enemy.
"That's it! That's the source." Droth stated the obvious. Orion just shook his head. Honestly what else could this thing be but the source!

Aiden, if he had been expecting a reaction, hadn't expected the one he got. The way the elves acted to the very sight of him had surprised even Aiden. Blinking in confusion, he saw elves scrambling away from him like he had an infectious disease and then saw others taking a step forward as if to protect the younger elves. Giving them a very confused expression, since Aiden was used to be not reacted to in this kind of way, Aiden tilted his head to the side as he furrowed a brow. Rubbing the back of his head, Aiden spoke.
"Uh...did I say something wrong? Why are you guys so scared of me?"
Ava and the Elder chief had intercepted the crowd though. Well, more so Ava. The Elder was the one whose voice thundered over all of the commotion. The Elder's voice had been so loud that it had even startled Aiden into looking over at him. Gaping, eyes wide, Aiden watched as the elderly elf turned to him then and smiled, answering his question. Before Aiden could respond, the Elder then spoke to the elves all around them. Hearing the Elder tell them that he was done speaking to them, thanking them for their ears, Aiden heard him reiterate that the humans weren't to be harmed.
While the elves were dispersing, Aiden couldn't help but watch as they went. Some passed him a few glares or fleeting, frightened glances before turning and leaving. There was an elf child that appeared to be curious of Aiden but their parents had ushered them along, keeping them away from Aiden. Aiden watched them, especially leave, with a slightly pained expression on his face. What had he done to deserve this? It wasn't easy for Aiden to realize that he had frightened the elves and in reaction, make the adults want to hurt him because they were trying to protect themselves.
"Not all humans are that bad..." It had been barely a murmur though but the tone in his voice sounded a bit hurt. Ava then stated that what Aiden had done was reckless. Aiden had lowered his head a bit with regret for what he had done. He honestly didn't meant to scare anyone. He was just a very sociable little thing and couldn't help that he had such a personality.
"I'm...sorry..." Aiden stated but the Elder seemed to have waved off the whole thing before turning toward his home and walking in the direction of it. Ava then walked forward before pausing next to Aiden, Aiden lifted his gaze to look over at her as she spoke. She was telling him to follow the Elder. Aiden gave a slow nod before speaking again.
"I didn't mean to scare them...or anger them...thank you for bringing me here, Ava." With that, Aiden had walked in step behind the Elder as they made it to his home and then inside. It was startling how massive the place was. Aiden couldn't help but look around in awe. By the time they came to a stop, Aiden almost collided with the back of the Elder but just managed to catch himself before he did. There was a long table centered in the area and the Elder was motioning for Aiden to sit, which he obediently did. Just what things did the Elder wish to speak to him about?

Ava actually hadn't been talking to Aiden when she had called him reckless. It might have come off that way when she spoke, but in reality her words had been directed at the elder. The teen just happened to be unfortunate in misinterpreting her body language. With the elder heading inside first, Ava brought up the rear after Aiden. THe inside of the elder's home was similar to Droth's except it was on a larger scale. The single room was easily twice as large as Droth's if not more.
Additionally there were other differences that stood out. The large bookshelf off to the side was one such thing. Being the elder meant that the oldest elf was also responsible for the huge library that the village owned. And that was exactly what the single bookshelf held: thousands of books. The bookshelf itself was a single structure that climbed up from the ground and rose all the way till it disappeared towards the top. With no ladder or stairs to reach the top, one might wonder just how they managed to get the books from the higher parts of the bookshelf that were out of reach.
Another interesting difference was the green horse like creature that approached them upon entering. The best stood on four legs and was easily seven feet tall. Alike in shape, but different in many other ways (for example green scales covered the body of the creature and its eyes were a mustard yellow in color) the creature shook its black mane in greeting as the elder came in.
"Make yourself at home, young human. Tell me how fares your friend?"
---------------------
Orion battled the source. It was a battle that was not decided at the get go. Unlike fighting humans, there was no quick disarm and defeat. In fact Orion scored several slices and stabs against the enemy in a matter of moments. However it seemed to do little good. Actually all Orion's attacks were harmless. He'd slice into the enemy, as he did now swinging his blade in an arc after deflecting a horizontal strike from his opponent. He would land a strike, his attack slicing into the enemy's shoulder. And it would go right through it like it was butter!
After the hit was scored the enemy would either reform a limb or reattach the part that Orion had left to hang. There were no cries of pain. No evidence of any sort of victory at all! All the while Orion had to do his best to not only defend against the attacks that the enemy made, but also dodge the oozing slime that sprayed after it. There were already a couple of times that Orion had to roll all the way back to dodge the spraying ooze.
"Isn't there something more I can do?!" Orion called to Droth in desperation! He deflected a swing at his neck, but this time did not manage to dodge the ooze that sprayed with it. The acid bit into his skin like a savage animal, feeling like boiling oil had just been poured on his skin. It also caused the skin to redden and scorch.
Droth appeared at his side, as Orion back peddled and simply dodged the enemy's attacks instead of blocking them. "Well I'd imagine that any abilities you have in the physical world you'd have here as well."
"Now ya tell me!" Orion exclaimed. That knowledge would have come in handy a long time ago. "If I can summon my armor, then this battle is going to change." Orion remembered the rush of power he received when he summoned his new armor. However he was hesitant to call upon it as he remembered what he did to Damien and even the people back in the Land of Dragons. He had lost control of all of his senses with his new armor.
Realizing Orion had backed up to the edge, he knew he couldn't back peddle anymore otherwise risk falling off. As if his opponent understood this, it came at Orion with a new found ferocity. It's attack came harder and faster! It took all of Orion's concentration to simply defend the attacks, let alone dodge the ooze."I have no choice!" Orion said to himself aloud. Grasping his sword and preparing for the darkness to overcome him, Orion called for his armor!

Aiden hadn't realized that Ava had been speaking to the Chief Elder. Quietly, he followed the elder elf into his home. It was astounding how much larger it was in here. There were a ton of books, Aiden noticed. As he wandered a little to look over at the shelf, he noticed that it extended upward, all the way up. The first thing that had popped into Aiden's head was just how in the world the elves got to those books. He saw no ladders or stepping stools of any kind. Then, there was the creature inside the home.
As Aiden took his curious and youthful eyes off of the large bookcase, he found a four legged creature that looked remarkably like a very scaly horse with yellow eyes. It looked like some sort of pet the way it was acting. It was even much taller than a normal horse! "Wow, I've never seen one of these before!" Aiden stated before the Elder had ushered him to sit down. Aiden wandered over to the table and placed himself down respectfully. As the Chief Elder asked him how his friend fared, Aiden's smile faltered a bit. He glanced over at Ava before looking back toward the Elder.
"I'm...not sure but I hope he will be cured. We brought Orion to Droth and it looks like he was healing him. I heard it's going to take a while so decided to come here. Damien's watching them."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On the outside, nothing seemed to appear on Orion to indicate what inner struggles he was going through. All the while, Damien kept an eye on Droth and Orion. What would happen when Orion was cured? Would they try to look at what truth had been behind what Orion had seen in his dream? Would they all go their separate ways? Damien didn't mind the idea of splitting apart. The only problem with their group was Aiden. The kid seemed to be the one that kept the group together. Well, at least where Damien was concerned since he had a weak spot for kids and hated to disappoint them regardless of how he felt about the idea. Aiden was annoying but deep down, Damien cared for the kid. He wouldn't let him get hurt.
As Orion adorned his armor, nothing on the outside had exhibited anything wierd to indicated to Damien that right now, he should probably be alarmed. If or when Orion came back to the waking, outside world, only then will Damien probably realize what was going on. It seemed like a lot of time had passed since Orion and Droth became like that. All the while, surprisingly, Damien found it harder and harder to stay awake. It were as if the fresh air that this area was wafted with just overcame Damien's senses.
Eyelids growing gradually heavy, Damien eventually fell asleep without meaning to. If any of them came out of the state they were in they would most likely find Damien with his arms surrounding each side of his face on the table, out like a light.

The elder nodded in understanding to Aiden's response. "Well if there is anyone who can heal him it will be Droth. Even when he was just a child he had a natural gift with healing." The elder informed him. "Of course back then he was quite the handful."
"He's still a handful!" Ava added, rolling her eyes as she spoke. The elder shook his head and smiled as well sharing in on the joke.
Turning to Ava, "Why don't you go and prepare some food for young Aiden here, and perhaps bring a plate to his friends back at Droth's." Ava bowed respectfully than took her exit, going to prepare the food. That left just Aiden, the elder, and the horse like creature.
"I was wondering young man. What could you tell me about the outside world? Have you been to the other worlds?"
--------------------
The darkness overcame him then. Here, in this place, the moment he donned the armor a feeling of pure rage and fury. Similar to before, he lost all care for pain and discomfort. He felt nothing but pure rage, and for once it aided him in battle. He attacked the poisoned creature with new found strength. His attacks though still did not stop the creature from regeneration. It didn't matter how many times Orion slashed through the creature, it regenerated all the same!
This just caused Orion's anger to rise even higher! Orion might have been lost in rage and anger, but that didn't mean he couldn't see what was right in front of him. His attacks were doing nothing! In frustration Orion threw his sword at the only actual physical thing in the room, the mirror. The sword struck the mirror like a lightning bolt struck a tree. The sound of it hitting the glass echoed throughout the room, and the poison creature in front of him howled in sudden pain.
Seeing an opportunity, Orion threw out his hand and a chain made of darkness shot out towards the poison creature. It slithered around it like a snake, and with a pull came flying towards Orion. Thrusting his sword, Orion struck it right into the chest of the creature! And for once it did not regenerate! And like the mirror it suddenly shattered into a thousand pieces, leaving Orion in a puddle of poison goo. But for once Orion did not care.
"You've done it!" Droth responded. Orion let the armor disperse, even though it was like trying to stop himself from taking another sip of spirits while being intoxicated. Breathing heavily, Orion couldn't help but smile. Finally! It was over! Droth appeared at his side and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Congratulations. The poison is gone. Now let's get out of here. Though I have to say, there's only one way out and it's the way we came. We have to go back to the heart."
Even though Orion was dead tired, for once he didn't care. There wouldn't be any poison creatures to stop him this time. Leaving the floating platform and heading back the way he came, Orion had no clue as to the creature that rose from the broken shards of glass. The dark armor, the very same that Orion had just worn, slowly rose from the platform out of the glass and watched him go. The creature of darkness was not the poison that Orion had just defeated. That poison was gone. Still it was a creature that would very well kill the being known as Orion, just in a different way.
From somewhere far off, in a distant world, Lakari looked through that presence. He watched Orion leave, feeling somewhat impressed that the teen had managed to defeat the poison he had planted inside him. "No matter." Lakari thought. "So long as he continues to use the darkness, slowly it will devour him whole. And then, I will own both of these so called gods."

Aiden was silent as the Elder spoke to him about Droth. He wasn't sure what to make of the elf healer. His ways were strange and the way he talked and acted was strange. Aiden didn't understand the implications Droth had been giving to Damien and Orion. All he knew was that the other two seemed strangely uneasy around the elf. As the Elder mentioned how Droth had been a handful, Ava piped in stating that he still was. The Elder just shook his head, smiling at what the female elf had said. Aiden, on the other hand, just looked between them in confusion.
It wasn't long before the Elder had suggested that Ava bring food for Aiden and then Orion and Damien at Droth's. As Ava bowed respectfully, she set out to go and prepare the food. Now that Aiden thought of it, he was pretty hungry. Today and the journey and dangers they encountered had been taxing. Once Ava left, the Elder turned his attention onto Aiden once more as he asked if there was anything Aiden could tell him of the outside world and if he had been to the others.
"Well, I come from a different world. I'm not sure how widely known the blue hair is out this way but I'm a Wilder. I come from the Land of Dragons. People there are either Asian or foreigners like my family's bloodline. See, the Wilders were never a native family to the world. My family had settled there around maybe...four hundred years ago. Since then, we have branched out and now there's nearly a hundred or so of us today. I'm one of them. We used to have dragons in the world there but they're rare now. There's even a dojo that the Wilders own and there's an Emperor that lives in a palace. We have five seasons. Winter, autumn, fall, spring and summer. As for the other worlds, well I've not been to many of them before. In fact, this is the only other world I've been to. Orion and Damien would know more about them than I would. I do know of say...Twilight Town, this one and well, as for the others my memory's foggy on the names but I have heard that there's uh...only five worlds left?"
--------------------------------------------------------
Damien remained asleep, unaware that Orion and Droth were done and had yet to come back.

As Aiden began to answer the elder, the old man took the time to straighten up some things in his room. He picked up some stray books that had been left scattered in various places in the apartment. The way he moved it might have seemed like the elder wasn't paying much attention to what Aiden was saying. However this was definitely not so. In fact the elder was listening intently to what Aiden was saying.
"I had figured as much." The elder said in response to Aiden's introduction as a Wilder. "I had the honor of meeting one of your ancestors before the start of the war. He was a young man at the time, a little older than yourself."
Bringing the stack of books over to the tall bookshelf the elder watched as one by one the top book sprouted wings and flew to an open place on the bookshelf. This continued until the last book landed safely on the bookshelf. "Twilight Town, the Keyblade Graveyard, the Land of Dragons, the Enchanted Domain, and of course this world. Those are the five remaining worlds."
Returning to Aiden, the elder took a seat next to him. "Can you tell me of what is happening in the other worlds? Natalia has told me all that she has experienced in the other Kingdom. She speaks of an evil organization on the rise, something called the Order of the Destroyer. Tell me have you heard of such an organization before?"
--------------------
Orion's waking up was sudden. The light around Droth and himself suddenly vanished, and Orion crashed to the floor. Feeling like he had just been awoken from a long slumber, Orion rubbed his eyes. His vision was hazy, as if he had stood up to quickly after sitting down for a great while. As the room came into focus, Orion spotted Droth slowly getting off of the floor as well.
"It's finally over?" Orion asked. He remembered everything about what had happened inside his mind.
Droth smiled. "Yes it is over. The poison is gone! Congratulations." Orion forced himself to smile. Yet it was a forced smile. It wasn't a real happiness.
"I'm not dying... Why don't I feel happy?" Orion felt like he should be happy. He had every right to be. He wasn't going to die anymore. He could now return to... "Well I guess I can return to the hole of shit I dug myself into." Orion might have fixed one problem, but there were still quite of list of mistakes that he needed to rectify.
Standing up, Orion wondered where everyone was. He didn't hear any voices or anything like that. In fact the only thing he heard was snoring. Glancing back he spotted a sleeping Damien. "How much time has passed?" Orion asked, wondering if it was the middle or night or something.
Droth had an answer for him. "Well here, not too much time. Maybe a few hours or so. However once you enter the Kingdom the time passes much slower in comparison to the outside world. It's probably been a few days since you entered the Kingdom..." Orion nodded, slightly surprised to hear this information.
---------------------
As Droth had said a few days had passed. Three to be exact. Standing outside the gates of the Kingdom of Elfenhiem, a hooded figure stood within the mists. He stood at the edge of the mists starring directly ahead as if he knew what was beyond them. The elfs at the watchtower had watched this figure with increasing alarm. They had no clue as to his or her identity, but the way the figure navigated through the mists one thing was obvious: the figure was an elf. The question was who? And why?
The figure stepped forward, and out of the mists. At the same time a hooded figure in each of the other four populated worlds stepped forward into the area that they stood in front of. In Twilight Town, the figure stepped in front of the watchtower. In the Enchanted Domain, the figure started up the pathway to the castle. In the Land of Dragons, the figure started towards the main gates to the Wilder estate. Finally in the Keyblade Graveyard, the figure started up towards the abandoned castle that sat on the top of the plateau.
At the watchtower, the elfs filed out through the side doors in routine fashion. With bows in their hands and arrows knocked they took their place along the several open spots along the wall. The last to leave the watchtower was the Captain. He held his own bow knocked. "Llie! Tuk i' doltelme!"(You! Pull the hood!) He shouted in the elvan language.
"Nesh eller nae na iva, eller que na nevae. Desha ta que na tanya i' nevae enna rom au. Ro palu ho bell, ent gurtha shesh. Desha i' andram en' i' palurin rusv." (For the light to thrive, there must also be darkness. So it must be that the dark one will rise again. He shall spread his hand, and death will follow. So to will the walls of the worlds break.)
As he said this, the figure waved his hand. What happened next could be heard all the way back in Droth's house. The walls surrounding the entirety of the Kingdom began to quake as they started to crumble down. Similarly across the worlds the figures were waving there hands, and destruction followed. In the Land of Dragons the walls that surrounded the estate began to crumble. On the Keyblade Graveyard, the door that had long been sealed shut began to crumble down. In Twilight Town the Watch Tower began to crumble. Finally in the Enchanted Domain the gates and walls surrounding the entirety of the castle began to crumble.

Aiden didn't seem to notice the elderly elf busying himself around the place. He was so absorbed in answering the questions, and talking, that he didn't seem to realize what the elder was even doing. It was clear that youth ran away with Aiden a lot of the time. His mind had yet to fully mature even though he was only sixteen years of age. Life, where it hit him in certain areas, did not hit him entirely enough to douse that childish behavior in him. Then again, he just seemed to be a cheerful spirit.
When the elder spoke, Aiden took pause then to look over at where he had gone. Apparently the elder had met one of the Wilders. How long ago had that been and who was it that the elder knew? "Oh, you have?! Which one? What was he like?" Aiden asked curiously. It wasn't every day you heard someone knew your ancestor since most beings by now were dead. It was interesting to hear even a Wilder before him had met the Chief elder elf here.
Aiden could see the Chief Elder carrying books over to that bookshelf. As he did so, one by one, the top most book would suddenly sprout wings and fly up onto the shelf where there were open spots and plant themselves there. Aiden couldn't help but gape in wonder. "Whoa!" he stated. As the books did this, the Chief Elder mentioned the names of the other worlds. It was sad how few there were.
Then, the Chief Elder returned and took a seat right next to Aiden, which surprised him a bit since the elves seemed so distant with them. As he sat down, he had asked Aiden if he could tell him of what was happening in the other worlds. "Well, in my world, there was an attack on an orphanage...then, the whole city went up in flames in the market area." When the Elder Chief asked him about the Organization of the Destroyer, Aiden's face contorted a little. It was between worry and confusion on how to tell the elder.
"I won't lie to you. My friends, Orion and Damien, were once a part of that organization. My friends aren't bad people. They left the organization after a nasty fight with Ivan, Damien's father...I think. I'm not sure if he really is or not, they don't look like one another...and they don't seem to like each other. Sounds like Damien's father is causing trouble then. There was a guy with pointy ears that stopped Orion from killing Damien's father though." Oh boy, were Damien and Orion going to be upset with Aiden. Well, more so Damien than anyone, really. Now there was no telling how they would be treated here learning of that truth.
--------------------------------------------------------
As Dorth and Orion returned to their normal selves, exiting the inner self of Orion, Damien was still fast asleep. In fact, he was so deeply in sleep that he had been snoring. He hadn't realized just how tired his body was. Even with the rest they got back at the doctor's hospital wing back in Land of Dragons, Damien hadn't gotten enough rest. He had simply kept pushing himself. As he had stubbornly tried to wait for Orion and Droth to come out of that state, Damien didn't realize that exhaustion had caught up with him.
Yes, Damien was so deep in sleep that he had been snoring. He didn't normally snore but when people were really tired, they snored. As he slept, he didn't realize the noise he was making nor the fact that Droth and Orion chose that opportune moment to happen upon him. If he did, he wouldn't have been all that happy to know he had been snoring.
If the two ever planned on waking Damien, neither of them got the chance when the sound of things crumbling sounded. As if on autopilot, Damien awoke with a start. In a split second he ahd summoned his sword and looked around in his surprise. Maybe it was a good thing neither Orion or Droth had tried to wake him?
"What...what the hell is going on?" Damien stated. It was clear by his voice that he had only just come out of slumber and was a bit hoarse. Even now, he was blinking to try and see Droth and Orion more clearly. Just what was going on? It sounded like something was falling. Lowering his sword, realizing where he was, Damien looked around trying to figure out the source of the noise and headed outside to look.
In the meanwhile, Aiden was hearing the same thing. "Wh-What's that?" Aiden said, sounding surprisingly scared. Even if he claimed to be a Wilder, Aiden was clearly still a child.

The elder's interest rose when Aiden revealed that he had knowledge about what he asked about. The elf listened intently to what the human boy was saying. "Ah. Perhaps they could tell me more about this organization." The elder said to himself aloud in response to Aiden. Everything that the elder heard about this organization troubled him. It would be good to get information from someone who was formerly a part of the order.
As Aiden continued though, the mention of pointy ears perked his interest. "Do you mean an elf helped your friend?" The elder went to continue to ask what exactly Aiden meant when the rumbling started. Was it an earthquake? That was the elder's first thought. That thought didn't last long though. There were no signs in the earth of the plates moving. The elder felt no sadness from mother gaia, as he would if there was an earthquake.
The patter of the horse, drew the elder's attention to it. The animal looked frightened, shifting back and forth. The elder rose! There was only one thing that would frighten the animal in such a way. "We must hurry!" He told Aiden, heading towards the front door.
----------
Orion had no clue as to what was going on! He had just gotten his feet in place and now things were rumbling! "I have no clue!" Orion told Damien. Noticing that Damien had summoned his weapon, Orion wondered if he should summon his own. After what had happened lately with the darkness, he was reluctant to do so.
Droth seemed worried as well. "I think it's an earthquake!" If it was really an earthquake that would be just their luck!
"Honestly, are things ever going to get better for me?!" He thought to himself.
The rumbling lasted for about a minute before it finally ceased. "D...do you think it's safe?" Droth asked. He had hit the floor and was hiding under one of his tables.
-----------
The figure walked through the dust that had been created by the destroyed wall. The mists that had once hung around the outside of the wall were now gone. The mythical barrier that had protected the Kingdom was now destroyed. The groans, cries, and screams from trapped elves did not go unheard by the figure. Instead the figure just didn't care.

Aiden heard the Elder speaking as if to himself. "Well, I don't see the harm in them answering any questions you might have." He had been sure to tell the Chief Elder that Orion and Damien were good men. Really, they were. He just hoped that no one would try to harm them because of their former ties with the organization. The mention of pointy ears seemed to pique the Chief Elder's interest.
Before Aiden could better answer the Elder's question on the pointy ears, that strange noise had taken place. It felt like an Earthquake maybe but that didn't seem right. Aiden had experienced some Earthquakes before but this didn't feel like one and it didn't sound like one. The horse-like creature in the Elder's home began to make a pattering noise, it looked frightened. Without further to do, the Chief Elder had scurried out of the home after saying that they had to hurry.
"What's wrong?""Aiden asked as he exited the home behind the Chief Elder.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Damien had snorted loudly when he woke up in his surprise. He didn't seem to notice this fact before he heard Orion's response about not having a clue what was happening. Without waiting for the other two, Damien had headed out. What met his eyes worried him greatly. The walls surrounding the elven kingdom had all gone down! Despite having out his sword, Damien wasn't sure he felt that much safer with it out. On top of it, where was Aiden in all of this? Their younger companion had set out with Ava to meet with the Cheif Elder of this place. Was he in any danger?
"Damn it all!" Damien cursed before heading back inside. The rumble had ceased as soon as he had stepped back in, the whole thing only lasting for a minute. He had barely heard Droth's claim that it was an Earthquake before he had set out previously.
When he got back inside, Damien's expression had turned grim. "The wall surrounding the city, this very kingdom, has gone down!" Damien informed Orion and the hiding Droth. He didn't seem to hear Droth's question if it were safe. "Orion...since you've been in that state er...healing, I presume, Aiden had gone with Ava to meet the Chief Elder. I've not seen him since then so he's probably in the middle of all that." Sighing with exasperation, Damien headed back out. It was up to Orion whether or not he chose to follow him. Droth could stay hidden for all he cared right now.

The elder's heart stopped upon sight of the crumbled walls. "How?" He barley managed to say aloud. The walls that had stood for a millennium had been reduced to nothing! Those walls were riddled with history and ancient magic. No natural disaster could cause such destruction! "Has Mother Gaia abandoned us?" The elder was fr in place by the destruction. It took the sound of Aiden behind him to get him moving.
"Stay close child." The elder warned Aiden to stay near him as he headed directly towards the destruction around them. Ava on the other hand appeared right by Aiden's side. She had left prior to the rumbling, but now she had returned. Taking the rear she followed.
Orion on the other hand did not know what to do. Damien had left at some point in the confusion caused by the rumbling only to return once it stopped. Hearing what he was saying, it sounded like the walls around the city had fallen down. Droth seemed relieved by the news. "Ah! Not an earthquake than... Wait the walls have what?!" The elf asked, wanting to make sure that he had heard correctly.
"Could an earthquake have caused the walls to fall?" Orion asked Droth. Before the elf could answer, Damien informed them that he was going after Aiden. Not sure if he should go with or stay, Orion just nodded and watched him go for the time being.
Droth glanced over at Orion and shook his head. "Not possible. The walls are protected with ancient magic that would make them unaffected by any natural disaster, including earthquakes."
From what Droth was saying, things didn't sound good. "I'm heading over there." Orion proclaimed. Gathering his wits he headed out the door and after Aiden.

The hooded figure headed towards the group of gathered people, breaking out of the cloud of stone dust. The elfs that had gathered were all reluctant to enter the destruction, unsure of what to do. The hooded figure came to a stop in front of the gathered group of people. At about the same time an elderly elf, a young human, and a young elvan woman broke through the gathered group of people to stand in front of them. The chief elder had made it through the crowd and turned his attention on the hooded figure.
"What is going on? Who are you? What happened to the walls?" The elf spoke in plain english, unsure of the race of this hooded figure.
In response the hooded figure slowly rose his stretched out arm with his index finger pointed at the chief elder. A bright blue light suddenly shot out from the pointed finger and headed right towards the chief elder. The form the light took was a single long blue rectangle that only had a five inch diameter. Despite its small size it shot towards the elder like a bullet, continuing to race towards the elder. Seeing the danger, Ava broke out from behind the elder and pulled him aside in order to dodge the speedy attack. However doing so left the attack open to the next person in the way of the attack, which just so happened to be Aiden.
((OOC: Hope its alright that I set Aiden up to be in harm's way. Up to you if it hits him or not. If you want me to change it though let me know.))
