((OOC: Ahhhs! Okie Dokies. Let's forward this just slightly shall we.))
Getting to Hangman's Square wasn't as difficult as Amber would have thought. The trio had managed to exit the castle fairly quickly. From there, the journey to the square was pretty straight forward. Having Bartimaeus, who knew the layout of the city fairly well, actually aided them for once. They didn't find trouble until they arrived at the square.
Upon entering the square the trouble became fairly clear. "How are we going to get from here to there?" Amber asked. The comment was more to herself though than to someone in particular. By here she meant at the foot of a large gathered crowd. It seemed all of the city had come out to the small square. People were jam packed around a single stage made out of stone about seventy feet away.
In the center of the stage was a pile of wood packed around a single raised pole. Strapped to that pole was a naked Infusca with her eyes blind folded and a gag in her mouth. Amber couldn't tell the state of her body from here but she guessed that it was probably beat up. Also on the stage were a number of guards. Closest to the unlit pyre was the wrapped Inspector. Amber could clearly make him out from here. Currently he was reading from a large parchment of paper. The chatter of the crowd though easily blocked his voice from reaching all the way to where they stood.
"Twelve guards... Damn! Make that Ten guards, the Head Jailer, and the Captain of the Blue Guards. This just got a whole lot worse." Bartimaeus said. "We need to move guys. He's reading her crimes and last rites. There's no easy way to get through this crowd. Stick to the plan. Rekka your best bet is to cut right through the middle. The stage is ten feet off the ground. You'll have to figure some way to get up there from the middle. We won't have a chance to get through all the guards to allow you an opening. Wait till we attack and then do what you can. Lara... I mean Amber let's go. We'll head to the staircase on the right. I'm going to have my hands full with the two big boys. You'll have to take any other guards."
Amber had loads of questions. Like who were the big boys, what was a Blue Guard, and just how were they supposed to make it through the crowd? But there was no time to ask. Bartimaeus didn't wait he started walking. Amber barley managed a, "Good luck Rekka." Before running after him.
------------------------
Lakari smiled. He knew why the heartless were gathering. He also knew why they had yet to attack. Additionally he also brought Ivan here for a specific purpose. The goal was simple. Lakari needed Ivan's help. Not so much his powers, though that would be a nice plus if he would give it to them. Lakari needed Ivan's resources: mainly his soldier and his organization.
"You need me Ivan. Perhaps you do not realize it, but you do. I am the only person alive who can truly help you and your organization. I know you want the destruction of the worlds. I don't know what you need for your dark god to make his appearance, but I know that he will never succeed unless he has me. And now I will show you why."
Lakari stretched out his hands and a strange item appeared in it. The item was wrapped in a sheath that was black as night. Any magic user who had the ability to read magic would be able to tell that the sheath was made out of a huge amount of spiritual energy. The sheath was wrapped in a thick layer around the item, making it look like nothing more than a big black dark cocoon.
"This sheath is called the eternal night. It was created by a warlock over five hundred years ago. It has the ability to conceal anything that it wraps around in an energy concealment. So long as the sheath is enclosed, whatever is inside does not exist in the world. No amount of magic tracking, sensing, or scouting could ever detect what is inside. But this sheath I'm sure mean's nothing to you."
The black sheath suddenly rose from Lakari's fingers to about three feet higher in the air. "I take you as a smart individual, Ivan. Surely you know the history of the Great War that I fought. I did much of your work for you. I destroyed a number of worlds during my conquest. Only four worlds left for you and your dark god to destroy right?"
Lakari let the question hand in the air. If Ivan decided to answer it or not, that didn't mean much. Lakari began to unravel the sheath. Slowly it unwrapped around the cocoon, and as it did the heartless around them began to stir. They began to edge forward ever so slightly. As the unwrapping started to speed up, the heartless began to prepare themselves for an attack. It was a peculiar phenomenon because it left the question of why they had not?
"Midway through my conquest the heroes of light used a very handy trick. Not realizing their potential to do this cost me my war! It stole thousands of my armies! I was left with less than half of my force! They sealed away seven of the worlds Ivan! They put seven of them to sleep! They sealed them all in a state where only they could touch them or access them! The dark cannot touch what the light has surrounded in light! That is until now!"
The last layer of the dark sheath unwrapped to reveal a Kingdom Keyblade. With the dark sheath gone a small slight harmless wave of invisible energy escaped from the keyblade and traveled through the air and over them all. "This is why you need me Ivan! Only a keyblade can unlock the sleeping worlds!" Lakari had to shout now for as the keyblade was revealed, the heartless were drawn to it. They rushed towards Lakari and Ivan all to rip apart the wielder of the keyblade.
Lakari smiled. "And I am its master!" The keyblade appeared in his hand and its appearance changed.

It was amazing how easy the trip from where they had been to Hangman's Square had been. Having not run into anyone, really, only told her that people were most likely gathered somewhere else. No doubt, their issue may come once they reached their destination. It wasn't to her surprise that they found out exactly where everyone was gathered. Just how many people, however, in this kingdom though astounded her. It didn't seem like such a small place could hold this much people within its walls but it did. Rekka's eyebrows rose considerably at the sight of them all. Just how were they going to even hope to make their way through such a crowded place? Not very swiftly, that was for sure!
As Amber spoke, Rekka gave a nod at that question. She, too, was wondering the same thing. As she stood there, it didn't take her long to find where Infusca would be. She was on a platform that had to be nearly ten feet in the air. Strapped to a pole, the necromancer was gagged, blindfolded and even naked. Just seeing her like that made Rekka angry again. Realizing she was getting too angry, Rekka forced herself to breath slowly to calm the fire in her heart. It wouldn't do them any good if she flared up now in her anger. Infusca needed their help and getting mad and engulfed in flames would only alert people as to where they all were. It would ruin their plans. Reminding herself of this, Rekka just barely managed to keep herself in check. She couldn't see the state of Infusca's body but it wouldn't be a surprise to see the woman with bruising and scratches all over her. The people here really seemed to hold a grudge against someone like Infusca and none of them even realized that they were persecuting a good person. That part also fueled her anger but Rekka fought it down. She couldn't afford to let her emotions take over.
Bartimaeus's voice seemed to have grounded her to focusing on the issue at hand and what they were going to do. There were twelve people on the platform. Ten guards plus the jailer and the captain of the blue guards. Taking a better look at it, she frowned openly at the bandaged figure. Rekka hadn't forgotten what that man looked like. She also didn't forget what she had told him about the fact that he couldn't contain them. His being present though would be a troublesome thing indeed. Somehow they would need to avoid him so that he wouldn't place that accursed spell on them again. They could not afford to be captured a second time.
Sure enough, she realized what the bandaged man was doing. It looked as though he were reading a book to Infusca and the crowd. As the bard informed them that the man was reading Infusca her last rites, Rekka felt a sense of urgency. They needed to move it! When Bartimaeus spoke to her, Rekka listened intently as he told her that her best bets would be to cut through the middle and find a way to climb from the middle and up onto the raised platform. Maybe there would be a series of beams for her to climb up? Rekka hoped so or she was trucking it up those steps instead and that wouldn't be good since her goal was to cut through the middle and not the side. When the bard and Amber attacked, Rekka would have to take advantage of that distraction. At this, Rekka gave a nod of understanding. Already, the adrenaline was rushing through her veins. She was angry as she was nervous. Could they manage it?
With that, Bartimaeus informed Lara...no, Amber what they were going to do. Once it was settled, they began to head off. As Amber wished her luck, Rekka gave a nod to Amber. "Good luck to you as well, Lar-er Amber! I'll hopefully be seeing you two later." With that, their group parted ways. Rekka went down the middle alone while Bartimaeus and Amber went down another path. As she went, Rekka didn't care as she pushed and shoved people hurriedly out of her way.
By the time she reached the platform, things were already beginning to unfold. Wondering if the others had made it, Rekka looked hurriedly around for them, trying to see signs of a commotion somewhere to indicate if Bartimaeus and Amber were diverting the guards' attention to them.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ivan rose a brow as the elf continued to speak. Where the idea of working together could be beneficial, the elf did not understand why he and the other three heads were made. Their purpose was not to rule an organization. If anything, the organization was to get people to actually work under them. It was to trick people into killing themselves since the dark god found it amusing. The four did his bidding as they saw fit. Although, he did not see that his four strongest creations had yet to cooperate on a level together unlike the Four. It was their weak point; the inability to work together without problems.
Then, Lakari revealed that without his help they could not achieve what they hoped. Like he had said, the beings of light had put worlds to sleep other than the current four that people knew of. That had been another reason why they did not destroy the worlds just yet. They were hoping for a new keyblade master to be born or appear. Sure, the keyblade warriors had gone extinct but there was always the chance one would appear. That was what they were all waiting for and Lakari just revealed what he was to Ivan.
In his hand, Ivan saw a covered something appear in Lakari's hand. It was confusing though that Ivan couldn't sense anything. It wasn't long before Lakari explained why. The item was concealed by that sheathe which had magical properties that kept it from being detected by any means. No wonder Ivan couldn't sense what was within it. As Lakari began to unravel the sheathe, the Heartless around them became suddenly more lively. Something about the unraveling of the sheathe had roused them. Why was that?
Lakari then went on to speak of how during the war he took upon the worlds how he had been tricked. The beings of light had figured out a way to seal the worlds from him. In doing so, that explained why the Dark God could not access them nor the Four heads. Only light could touch those worlds but no one had been a keyblade warrior to unseal those worlds. No doubt, a keyblade warrior had done that. Now, Lakari had a keyblade and the Heartless were lunging for them intending to kill Lakari. The Heartless despised those with keyblades. They feared and hated the weapon.
"Now,things had just gotten a little more interesting." Of course, now they had a Heartless problem to deal with. Summoning his weapons, their auras dark because of what Lakari had done to Ivan, Ivan braced himself for the rushing Heartless. Once this vermin were dealt with only then could they speak more on how to work things out. Lakari was right in that they needed a keyblade warrior and he seemed intent on working along with them. The only thing was though is that this elf saw himself as the ultimate power. Eventually, he would try to confront the dark god. When that happened, well, Ivan would be interested to see how that would end.

Amber started through the crowd following behind Bartimaeus. Their pathway was slightly different in comparison to Rekka's. Bartimaeus moved diagonally pushing through people with barley an "Excuse me" escaping his lips before he shoved between people. It left Amber, who was following about three paces behind, the receiver of many harsh looks and annoyed faces. She made sure to continue to say, " Pardon me", " Sorry about this", and " Need to get through." There was no way to see how fast Rekka had managed to get through the crowd. Amber's eyes were focused on Bartimaeus's back and she kept them there. Things moved quickly though and before she knew it they were through the crowd. Bartimaeus stood before two guards at the foot of a staircase. Besides the guards, the staircase they were blocking, and a group of people around them, there wasn't too much to see of things beyond their immediate surroundings. The two guards turned their heads to look at Bartimaeus and Amber. Something on their faces must have given away something because Amber watched both of the guards grip the hilts of their sheathed weapons. "No one is allowed on the stage. Please take a step back you two." One of the guards said. Bartimaues answered. "I'm afraid I can't do that." He told them right before he snapped into action. Similar to the way he had attacked the other guards his hand shot forward to smash into the guard's face. Amber moved to attacking the other guard by knocking his feet out from under him with a swiping kick towards his legs. The head of the guard that Bartimaeus attacked ricocheted back after connecting. At the same time Amber's opponent crashed to the floor. Amber didn't want to kill the guard. But she knew that she had to incapacitate him. So she summoned her axe to her hand. Slamming the base of her axe's hilt on the man's forehead it knocked the man out while leaving a bleeding cut on his forehead. Her attacked had been slightly harder than she had wanted. No time to think about the repercussion now. Bartimaeus had done worse to his opponent. Amber spotted a broken nose and a knife in his forehead. The bard pulled out his weapon quickly and the guard fell to the floor. The people who had watched the spectacle were stunned at the sudden violence. "Let's go!" Bartimaeus said as he dashed up the marble staircase. ---------------- The change in the weapon when it appeared into Lakari's hands was much different compared to the kingdom key it had been. The blade of the keyblade was very much like a blade that had been fashioned to look like a tooth or an acute triangle. On one side was the cutting edge of the slanted portion of the blade. Connected to the other straight end was a small circle oval near the point of the blade with two six inch mini versions of the large blade projection out of the edge of the oval. That was what completed the keylike shape. The hilt of the weapon kept the original heart shape guard, but near the blade it took the shape of an animal's skull. " The Necromancy" Lakari spoke the name of the keyblade aloud. How exactly Lakari came to own a keyblade was something that Lakari would not say. It had occurred in the world of the Keyblade Graveyard. That information was not as important to keep secret as the other one. The power that wielding the keyblade gave him was just what he needed. Lakari could feel the power pumping through his veins. The dragon blood in his body stirred within him, rejuvenated by the keyblade's power. Lakari held up the keyblade as energy began to form around the weapon. Meanwhile the heartless closed the remaining distance. The moment right before they began to attack the energy that had formed around Lakari's keyblade shot out of the weapon and sped towards the castle before disappearing from view as it rose into the air.

(OOC: Hope this was alright. If not, I can fix it. I also left it for you to decide if Rekka epically fails or not xD )
Rekka couldn't help but feel tense knowing time wouldn't wait for them any longer. Above her, she could hear the voice of that man. He was, as Bartimaeus had said it, reading out to Infusca her final rites. As she grew antsy, she finally noticed a commotion taking place at the side of the stairs. Bracing herself, Rekka looked up at the raised platform. There were beams that she could use to climb but once she reached the top, well that was another matter entirely. Would they expect someone to come from the front? Most likely but it wasn't like time could permit Rekka going around from the back. She would have to cut through the middle.
Infusca needed their help above. Focusing on that fact, Rekka was able to finally take the plunge. Figuratively speaking, of course. Determined, even though she was weaponless, Rekka began to climb the wooden beams hurriedly. She didn't even think, she just did. Her eye fixed on the platform above her, Rekka used parts of her muscles that she didn't even know she had. Once this was all said and done, she may or may not be feeling it tomorrow.
How the other two were doing, Rekka wasn't sure. All she knew was to keep pushing forward and do what she could. She had to get to Infusca just before the flames started so that she could jump in, in time and stop the flames. No one in their sane mind, by the time she got into the flames, would try to get at her then. The fire alone would protect her from any harm save for that of arrows or something else that wasn't normal.
Reaching the top, Rekka wasted no time hoisting herself up onto the platform. The soldiers or guards that had been standing there were quite surprised to see a girl suddenly appear at the top. Unfortunately, a torch had already been lit. If she didn't get through them, Infusca would be cinders and their plan would fail. Sidestepping a guard whom had made a lunge for her, Rekka resorted to using her speed. Hopefully, Amber and Bartimaeus would catch up and then distract the guards. As the fire rose, the torch having just lit the wood and rising at an alarming rate, Rekka rolled out of the way as a guard tried to jab her with his sword and she found herself in the flames. Just before she had entered the flames, the kanji letter for fire had appeared on her forehead. As Rekka had hoped, she didn't feel any pain upon entering the gradually rising flames.
Getting to her feet, Rekka just barely glimpsed the looks on the faces of those nearest her that had tried to pursue her only to see her enter the flames. Knowing Infusca needed her help, Rekka was able to ignore them hoping that Amber and Bartimaeus would be able to stop who would ever try to stop her. She didn't realize her partial red armor had appeared again as she turned to Infusca whom was clearly not comfortable in the slightest knowing flames were starting to lick the pole she was strapped to.
Rekka tried to calm herself to a point where she could try to sway the flames or something. If what Bartimaeus had said when he had first suspected her affinity to flames were true, then maybe she could make it dip away from Infusca for the time being to give her time to undo the threads holding Infusca to the pole? As she did so, it was quite a struggle with concentration. Every little sound behind her made it waiver and almost risk burning Infusca in the process. Whenever she felt herself waiver, she struggled to maintain concentration again. Gradually but painstakingly, she managed to get the fire to not reach Infusca but now there was the issue of getting her off the pole. Rekka had to move but to do that, she had to let go of her concentration. Not just that but she realized she didn't have anything to cut Infusca off the pole with. If only she had her-!
Rekka's concentration had nearly broken when she suddenly felt something in her right hand. It was the hilt of something and it felt awfully familiar. With a thrill, Rekka just barely caught herself before the flames got Infusca. Even still, with the close proximity of the fire, Infusca would most likely feel hot despite not being touched by the fire. Now came the hard part. Moving and concentrating. Whether or not Bartimaeus and Amber were doing good behind her, Rekka struggled to move slowly and carefully. Each time she moved, the flames moved dangerously but she just narrowly managed to keep it from hurting Infusca.
It was slow so she could be easily interrupted if someone had something to stop her with. Step by step, Rekka did her best to concentrate on Infusca. Her emotions were running high with the intent of protecting her friend from the flames and getting her out of here. Well, not a well known friend at that but Rekka wanted to help Infusca and that was ruling over her right now. Step by step, she was making her way closer to Infusca and would be slowly bringing the sword up to the ropes to try and cut Infusca free.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ivan watched with interest as the keyblade changed form. The weapons were said to change shape to fit its master's personality and heart. As the elf spoke, Ivan turned back toward the Heartless. The threat of the things was becoming more clear as the creatures charged toward them. Thankfully, Ivan didn't have to fight the things off for Lakari had produced some sort of wave of energy. The Heartless had been knocked back just before they could attack.
Taking a look around them, Ivan was surprised to see that a large number of them had been taken down.
"Impressive...most impressive."

Ascending the stair case right behind Bartimaeus, the two found themselves in a battle pretty quickly. The commotion they had created from down below had not gone unheard. Two of the ten regular guards were coming at them the moment they reached the top of the staircase. "Enemies!" They cried as their pole arms descended from above. Amber deflected the one aimed at her head with a swing of her axe. The good thing about an axe is its unique shape. She easily hooked the pole arm and brought it down with the swing of her axe. With her free hand she shoved the guard to the side, throwing him off the stage.
Bartimaeus had quickly disposed of his enemy as well, leaving him knocked out on the stage. Amber stepped over him as they continued forward. More guards were rushing towards them! "Stop them!" A voice came from behind the rushing guards. Looking past them, Amber spotted the two that Bartimaeus spoke of. The head jailer was rushing towards them while the other had spotted Rekka jump onto the platform. He had taken steps towards her but had stopped when she suddenly leaped into the flames.
"Amber your going to have to deal with these guards. I'm going to have to take on the big honchos." Amber had no problem with that. But she wondered just how Bartimaeus planned on getting past the eight guards that were rushing towards them. They formed a mighty wall that Amber wondered just how Bartimaeus was going to get past.
The bard rushed forward, his hunting dagger in his hand. Amber couldn't see it but his mouth was moving as he hummed a particular tune. As the wall of soldiers came within swinging distance with their pole arms, the bard jumped. Amber watched in slight awe as Bartimaeus leaped fifteen feet in the air. He easily scaled past the line of guards and landed in a run behind them.
Seeing an advantage as the guards gawked, Amber ran to meet them. She let out a battle cry just before she was upon the nearest guard. A powerful aimed swing at the man's plated armor prevented the axe from piercing through the armor. But it did knock him to the side, which was exactly what Amber wanted! The poor fellow fell right off the stage into the gathered crowd.
The stage was only big enough for four people to stand side by side. It was narrow until one reached the main part of the stage where the funeral pyre sat. There were seven guards, and three of them quickly rushed past her and forced her back to the edge. She had all seven guards surrounding her and a crowd of angry people at her back!
--------------------
Bartimaeus, having leaped past the wall of guards, had his eyes solely set on his target. Sir Edward! The knight, whose focus was on the funeral pyre, was staring at how the fire seemed to keep away from Infusca. Bartimaeus could tell that the Captain of the Blue Guard knew that something was not right. No one just jumped into a fire as Rekka had done. He had one guard next to him. The knight said something and pointed at Infusca.
Seeing the guard raise a crossbow, the bard swore to himself. He would not reach the two in time to prevent that crossbow. Bartimaeus had no choice but to throw his weapon. With all his might he threw the hunting dagger. His aim was the narrow opening between the guard's open helm. Bartimaeus watched the guard go down. "Well now I'm going to face an opponent weaponless." He thought to himself.
Seeing the guard next to him fall with a knife in his face, Sir Edward spun around. His eyes locked on Bartimaeus. There was no sign that the Captain recognized him. "Good thing I shaved that grizzly beard and let my hair grow. No one seems to recognize me." Back then Bartimaeus had a very different look. As he came within the swinging distance of Sir Edward's blade, Bartimaeus's anticipation of the strike saved him his neck. He managed to dodge the attack by pivoting on his foot. Then he did the only susceptible thing one could do in this situation. He went for a tackle.
-------------------
Lakari's attack wasn't actually aimed at just creating the shockwave that forced the group of heartless back. That was simply the drawback of sending that powerful amount of energy. The real aim began when a giant tremor traveled across the entire area around them. Glancing at the dark castle on the mountain, Lakari watched the ancient structure explode from within. The arches and towers that had made Infusca's home began to fall as something rose from within.
As the name of the keyblade might suggest, Lakari's weapon increased his necromancy abilities by threefold. What he had just done by himself would have taken the concentration of three of his necromancy generals. Rising from the castle was the animated skeleton of a large dragon. The beast was an ancient creature, killing long ago during ancient times by a charming prince. It flew through the air as it came racing towards the heartless.
"Feast my pet!" Lakari commanded it. There really was no need for Ivan to draw his weapons. They were in no real danger. The dragon landed on top of them, leaving them to stand in between the bones of its rib cage. It's skeleton head let out a large roar as it began to attack the heartless. Needless to say they didn't stand a chance.

(OOC: I like the avatar. Lakari! lol Nicely done! Also, now a sense of nostalgia came over me seeing your old displayname now combined with your new xD Metallic, it has been a while since I last called you that, eh?)
Rekka's attention on the outside of the flames was gone. Her entire focus was to fight the way the flames moved and to try and break Infusca free of her bonds. She really couldn't focus on anything else. If she did, she'd lose the edge she had in the flames and Infusca would be burned. So, she didn't see Sir Edward urging one of his men to fire a crossbow from somewhere behind her. Her eye was too centered on Infusca and keeping the flames at bay. The whole process of reaching where Infusca had been was painstakingly slow to her. She couldn't help feeling antsy with the whole thing. Noticeably, her hand was shaking as she finally neared the pole where Infusca was tied to it.
Afraid that she would accidentally cut Infusca instead of accidentally burning her, Rekka fought with herself again as she struggled to calm her heart a bit. Taking in a deep breath, she slowly reached out to the necromancer. "I-I'm...going to get you out of here, Infusca!" Rekka said to her but it was unclear if Rekka's voice could even reach her. The flames, after all, had reached a level high enough now to make a loud roaring noise around them. Still, no flame touched Infusca so long as Rekka was standing in it and maintaining somewhat of a control on it.
Slowly, she looked down at the rope and reached out with her sword. Carefully, she cut at the threads of the rope, watching each thread give way immediately to not just being cut but to the gravity of weight it had been holding up earlier that was Infusca. First, Rekka had cut free Infusca's hands and then the rest of her. The state of her friend's injuries she had sustained from those guards and that man had been startling. They really didn't like her kind. Rekka fought hard to not get angry at this as she did her best to get Infusca off the pole next, supporting her weight as she forced the flames out and away from them now. Only a little though, the fire wouldn't reach Amber, the guards, Bartimaeus or Sir Edward when she did this since she had only forced the flames away from them by at least a foot to keep Infusca from getting burnt.
Now, how to get out of the flames? Rekka wasn't sure how anyone else had been but she figured someone had to have been doing something. She hadn't been shot at by anything strange that she knew of. No arrows, nothing. Maybe Amber and Bartimaeus were taking care of things? Through the flames, on the other side, she did believe she saw movement. No doubt, a scuffle was taking place still as far as she could see. Now, how to get through the flames without harming Infusca? She had managed to get her off the pole but now how to get out? As she stood there, her mind flashed to something. She saw people, three of them other than herself. All of them were lying on the ground, crumpled and there were flames surrounding them. Suddenly holding out her sword, Rekka echoed what she saw in the sudden vision. It had actually been an old distant memory of a previous time than this one but she couldn't know that yet. She heard a man's voice and as if he were controlling her in this vision, she felt her own arm raise as if she had been the man saying something. When she said it, the outside world would probably hear her saying this "Part ways!" In the present time, the flames had split apart as they had done for the man in Rekka's vision. When the flames did so, the vision immediately dropped away and Rekka saw the flames having opened a pathway before her somehow.
Not sure how she had managed this, Rekka stepped through the pathway carrying Infusca. With the added weight, it wasn't easy for her to move. She only had one arm to help her fend any attackers off if there were any as she reached the other side. Amber was off to the side tending to a number of guards and Bartimaeus...had tackled the bandaged man. They appeared to be rolling about on the platform's floor in a sort of scuffle it seemed.
"I-I have her! Lara! Er...Amber! I have her!" Now what were they going to do? There were people everywhere! Were they just going to dive through the crowd? Rekka didn't think that'd be a wise idea.

((OOC: HAHA Thanks. I think your the only one who remembers that name though. At least no one else has pointed it out. Also Bartimaeus attacked Sir Edward, *Captain of the Blue Guard. Fancy long blond hair guy. Inspector Crudont is bandage man.))
Bartimaeus tackled Sir Edward. Given that the Captain of the Blue Guard was in full armor Bartimaeus didn't bother to attack with punches or kicks. Instead he aimed to get the man's helmet off. If he wanted any chance of winning against Sir Edward he'd have to play dirty. Still the Captain of the Blue Guard was a strong man. His armor helped to hold him down, but not so much so that he didn't throw some very strong punches at Bartimaeus's side.
The first punch brought a great deal of pain to Bartimaeus. He had been busy trying to hold the guard's limbs down when he let go of him to clutch his side. A second carefully aimed fist at his ribs was all it took for the Captain to have enough to throw Bartimaeus off of him. The Captain's pace was slow to get back up though.
Taking a few deep breaths, Bartimaeus forced himself to a stand. He was quite sure that the Captain had broken one of his ribs! Spotting the guard's blade on the ground between him and the guard he knew that if he was going to have a chance he'd have to get that heavy blade. Bartimaeus lunged for the weapon the same time that the Captain did. The two of them began to scramble for the blade.

Inspector Crudont, who actually had been on the other side of the funeral pyre had been sealed in a state of shock. He watched the flames stay away from Infusca as if the woman could control them. His eyes opened wider when he spotted Rekka within the flames. The witch was controlling them!
Normally Inspector Crudont would have attacked. He would have used his own magic on the two to attack. But as one might imagine, Inspector Crudont had one main fear: fire. A funeral pyre had ruined his life before, and he was not going to enter a fray where it might ruin it even further. So Inspector Crudont took the cowards way out. When he watched Rekka part the fire he turned tail and started heading towards the back exit on this side of the stage away from all the fighting and the potential danger.
-------------------
Amber found herself facing eight guards and the head jailer commanding them. She had no time to see how her friends were faring in their battles. With her back to the edge of the stage it took all of her being to just stay on it while attacking and deflecting. The guards were well trained. As well trained as her own soldiers back in Cornelia. "That was a different time though." She reminded herself.
Flowing with the battle she nor the guards made any headway. They fought with pole arms, a weapon that should have given them an edge. However Amber's own skills had been honed for years with using an axe. She was clearly the better fighter. Still she was fighting eight soldiers who had surrounded her. She had to let her senses only focus on the battle.
She drowned out the commands of the Head Jailer. "Attack from the side you bastards! No! Yes like that! What are you doing men! Gah she's one woman! Move aside!" In the corner of her eye Amber spotted the head jailer pull one of his men out of the circle and enter it himself. At the same time she deflected a strike from her left to her side with an upper swing.
"You can't be afraid of getting in the range of her weapon like this!" A voice said. Amber spun about and found herself deflecting a rapier, a thing sword like weapon made for speed and precision. Perhaps the head jailer was a former duelist. Usually only duelist used rapiers. If Lara was facing an expert duelist then her luck might have just run out.
A quick flurry of an attack from the jailer proved that Amber's fear was not misplaced. She barley managed to deflect the attack! It seemed that even though Rekka had succeeded, her friends were still in the heat of battle.
----------------
The battle did not last long. The dragon made quick work of the heartless allowing Lakari to sit back and just watch his creature work. This was how much of the Great War had been fought. In truth their actual forces had not been many. In fact Lakari's force had started with only twenty individuals. Twenty necromancers was all it had taken to destroy the majority of the worlds. Currently there was only one necromancer and that was Lakari. Even if he did have the power of three necromancers currently, he was still only one man. "But that will change."
Smiling Lakari turned to Ivan. "So what say you Ivan? I believe you have had plenty of time to consider my proposal."

(OOC: I don't think anyone knew you as metallic in the past. Not many anyway xD Of course I remember you as metallic, you were one of the first real rp partners I had back then lol. And yer welcome and...you know, idk what it is but somehow I get the bandaged guy and Edward mixed up xDDDD How idk but lmfao I will remember xDDD)
Rekka realized her mistake. As soon as she had gotten out of the flames, the real person that the bard had tackled was actually an armored guy of some kind and not the bandaged guy. She hadn't seen the man since she had exited the flames and blamed herself imagining things only because she was afraid of dealing with the man. Why did she fear with dealing with him? Well, for one, she had Infusca and two, the man was more adequate with his magical abilities than she was. Rekka had a lot to learn about her fire abilities. Only just now she realized she had somehow managed to get Infusca out alive. She was happy that she was able to and hadn't failed the poor woman.
Glancing to the side, after calling out, she noticed that Amber was engaged in battle and to the other side, so was Bartimaeus. What was Rekka to do? If she just remained standing there her friends would get hurt and even she would too. After all, carrying Infusca around would slow her down considerably. However, she couldn't just leave Infusca there either. Wait, Infusca! The necromancer hadn't been able to respond to her since Rekka hadn't been able to remove the gag on her or the woman's blindfolding since she didn't have much time. If the Necromancer were able to move and was conscious, they would have a better chance maybe.
Gently, Rekka settled Infusca down once they had made it through the fire safely. They couldn't waste too much time here on this funeral pyre because of the flames. Pulling out Infusca's gag and removing the blindfold from the necromancer's eyes, Rekka glanced around before looking at the woman to see if she was awake or if she were still out of it. "Infusca? Are you alright? No burns?" Rekka spoke to her. Infusca hadn't tried moving since Rekka pulled her out of the flames. She had guessed Infusca didn't want to risk getting hurt so she had simply allowed Rekka to move her as she saw fit. Now, Infusca was free. It was a pity that Rekka didn't have anything to cover her with but it wasn't like they could right now.
"Infusca, if you're okay enough, we've gotta get out of here. Amber and Bartimaeus are distracting the guards for us but it's only a matter of time before any of them turn to us. Do you think you can get up or move? I can still support you. It's just carrying you would leave us open for attack."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Ivan watched as the bone dragon removed the Heartless with ease. Its massive ribcage was all they were standing in as the dragon finished the creatures off. As Lakari had turned to him after defeating the Heartless with ease, Ivan heard him speak to him about what he would say.
"I am only but one of the four heads. However, I can propose to them the alliance and see how that goes and then speak to the Dark God about it. From there, things will be decided for I cannot speak for their decision since I am not the leader nor are the other three heads. However, from what I have seen here, I am certain there will be an alliance here made. Will this suffice?"

((OOC: Oh it's ok. There are a lot of characters I'm throwing at you lol. Sir Edward was the one who told Orion that he'd kill him if he stepped into the Enchanted Domain. He's that guy from before. Inspector Crudont is bandage man who ran away)).
Bartimaeus, even with no armor to hold him back, lost. The two had dived for the blade at the same time. Bartimaeus got a hand on the hilt of the weapon first, but received a quick punch to the back from his opponent. In result he fell to the ground, pain searing from where the punch had hit. Sir Edward grabbed the hilt of the blade and whipped his arm around to point the tip at the back of Bartimaeus's neck.
"Do not move!" He declared. Bartimaeus swore aloud. "Hands out where I can see them!" Reluctantly Bartimaeus obeyed. "Now get up slowly." With his back turned Bartimaeus did as he was told. His mind was racing for a way out of this. If only he had a weapon!
"I could really use my hunting knife right about now." He thought. Standing with his back to the Captain he was instructed to turn around and face him. "I wonder if he'll recognize me now."
While Bartimaeus turned around, Amber found herself in a very similar situation as the bard. Fighting with the head jailer didn't last long. His quick strikes easily got past her guard and she now stood still with the edge of the blade resting on her neck. "You move and you die. I should have known you guys would have tried to rescue her. It would have been smart to stay away. Now you will all die."
Back with Rekka, Infusca finally got her barrings. Her entire body felt like one big bruise. The slightest touch to her skin drove pain down her spine. But as Rekka removed her blindfold and gag, she was finally able to spot her surroundings. "I... I can stand." She managed to say. Glancing over at Rekka she was really surprised that the woman had come to save her. Infusca had no reason to think that anyone would. "Thank you for coming to help me." She told Rekka. Without Rekka there was no way that Infusca would have survived the fire.
Looking over to the battle Infusca watched the battle quickly turn way to the enemy. Infusca wanted to help them but she was to weak to use any magic. Her body wouldn't be able to take the repercussion from using it.
"The necromancer!" Someone from the crowd screamed at seeing Infusca unbound standing on the stage. The crowd then began to go into a panic. They scrambled, pushed, and toppled over others in their attempt to exit the square ruled by fear. At that moment everyone's heads turned towards the thousand screams that shrilled through the air.
---------------------
Lakari listened to Ivan's response. It wasn't the exact reaction he wanted to hear, but it would do. "Go. Return to your Dark God and your leader. Return to me with your answer." Lakari waited for Ivan to leave. Once he did he let out a sigh. Things were going as planned. Currently his force only numbered five including himself. That was still to low. Picking up the night sheath from where it had fallen, Lakari slugged it over his shoulder.
"I want your heart." The voice brought a smile to Lakari. Being forced down by the skeleton arm of the dragon, the last remaining heartless was someone that Lakari knew very well. He walked out of the rib cage of the dragon and over to where the old woman heartless lay on the ground. Lakari raised the keyblade and pointed it at the old woman. The same spirit energy that Lakari had created before gathered around the keyblade. But this time with it came a swirl of a different sort of energy that was pure white.
The energy shot out of the edge of the keyblade in the form of a beam. It struck the old woman and when it did she burst into white flames. A sharp shrill echoed through the air as the flames burned the heartless. Lakari simply watched them burn revealing to satisfaction or hesitation in his demeanor. The flames burned for about five minutes before they finally went out all at once.
"Wh... What is going on? Your excellence? You're alive?!" Where the heartless had been, now stood Anicula. The heartless had been killed, freeing the heart that it had made up. Lakari had then used the power of necromancy to bring Anicula back to life, but not with the body she had before. Lakari spun about to face the large dragon, now with black flesh and dark green eyes.
"Hello Anicula. Many things have changed since we last saw each other." He said to the dragon.
A chuckle appeared in Lakari's mind that made him slightly recoil. That was the one thing about dragons that he didn't like. They didn't have the ability to speak in human tongues, instead choosing to speak telepathically. "I'd assume so. Somehow I'm a dragon now apparently... But where is my daughter? She should be here, yet I don't sense her. She is just a child Lakari. You better not lay your hands on her."
This time it was Lakari's turn to chuckle. "She is a child no longer Anicula. But yes, your daughter is not here. She is actually in a bit of trouble I believe." The dragon's muscles suddenly tensed up and her eyes tightened. Lakari watched the dragon lower its head fairly quickly and look Lakari straight in the eye.
"No games! Where is she?! I must go help her!"
Lakari just smiled. "Do not worry Anicula. I do not play games. Your daughter will be fine. My son should be arriving there now. You have nothing to worry about. Now come. It's time to go meet the new Thirteen... Well there are only six of us at the moment. But that will change fairly quickly."
-----------------
The Prince of Ravens slowly walked through the running crowd. Dressed in his black robes with his hands never leaving the hilts of the blades at his side, he walked as if he had all the time in the world. And indeed he did. It didn't seem to matter that people all around him were pushing one another and even running over eachother in their attempt to get away from the stage. For those unlucky to get to close to him... Well the result was the trail of bleeding dead bodies that were being left behind. No one saw his blade or arms move, but as soon as someone got to close they ended up sliced and on the ground bleeding. His eyes traveled across the stage that stood before them. He spotted Amber, surrounded by a group of guards and caught with a blade to her neck. He spotted Rekka and even Infusca standing to the side, not quite sure it seemed what to do or where to start. And then his eyes fell on the two in the middle. The one with the blonde hair and the other with brown hair, brown eyes, and that snot nosed smile. The Prince of Ravens drew his blades as the memory of those two swirled through his head. What luck to have the Shinning Knight and the Singing Knight right before him, two of the forces of light that had killed many of his friends during the great war. The Prince of Ravens drew his blades, not caring if anyone had yet to notice his arrival.

(OOC: It's not your fault xD My sister had rushed me and I did mistake Crudont for Edward, suspected I mistook the wrong character but didn't have time to think it over and yeah xD Not your fault at all. I very much recall Edward xDDD I just idk xD)
As Rekka had focused her attention on Infusca, she didn't realize just how bad their situation had become then. She wanted to make sure that Infusca was alright first. If the necromancer could fight or even just stand and walk that would be enough. As she had removed the blindfold and the gag, Rekka waited for the woman to respond. It was clear that there was a look of surprise on Infusca's face. She hadn't expected anyone to come and save her. Rekka figured that would be the case for Infusca since all she probably knew was isolation and hatred. Infusca never really got to experience friendship or kindness it seemed. That was another reason why Rekka wanted to help Infusca.
"Alright, good to hear that you can stand. If you need support, don't hesitate to say so. We're all here."
Rekka's tone had been reassuring and gentle. She was no leader nor was she a heroine as far as she could tell but she knew that she was a good person. Rekka knew that Infusca, though she was different, wasn't a bad person. She didn't deserve to die here like this. If she didn't throw a fit, the others would have just given up on the idea. Rekka was too stubborn to let it go and permit Infusca to die by the hands of those she had feared would kill her. As Infusca had thanked her, clearly surprised by everything, Rekka just gave her a smile.
"It was no problem, really. You needn't thank me. I was just helping someone who deserved my help. You helped us all in our time of need and it would only be right that we return the favor. It wouldn't be right to just let them do this to you, Infusca. You don't deserve any of this! I'm sorry though that they had hurt you. I wish we could have prevented all of this. If it hadn't been for us, you wouldn't have ended up like this. For that, I am truly sorry. I hope that you can forgive us."
As Infusca stood up, Rekka was alerted to the fact that everyone was still around. Looking around, hearing the sudden scream from someone below, Rekka looked down to see people running away in a panic. They were so frightened of her! Rekka frowned at them as they went. Infusca wasn't an evil person. It just went to show people tended to judge on appearance rather than on character.
Now that Rekka was back to the present, she turned to Amber and Bartimaeus. While Infusca and Rekka had conversed, the others had gotten into a spot of trouble. It really looked like the end as a soldier stated how it had been foolish of them to come since now they would all be killed right here and now. Rekka's gaze darkened on the speaker. "Foolish, maybe but as far as I see it we have very good reason to fight back. You attacked us first by capturing us without any justifiable reason other than one of us was suspected to be a necromancer. Where necromancy is against the law, I don't see why someone should be put to death over it if they never hurt anyone before. You might think we're monsters but as far as I can see it, you're the real monsters here judging a book by its cover and not looking into the pages to see if what you're harming is actually an innocent person and not a villain like you turn them out to be!" Rekka snarled back. Hey, if she was going to die here, she might as well let them all know it. Even now, she flared up a bit, fire surging around close to her body as her anger radiated from her.
"So go ahead, try and hurt my friends, you monsters! I'll just make sure each and every one of you follow us into the void! So go ahead, kill us all because I'll be taking you all with us!" Even now, she made the flames dangerously flare up next to her because it was reacting to her emotions. "Of course, I'd rather not kill anyone today or have anyone killed. So it's your choice. Kill any of my friends, I kill us all. Leave us alone and no one gets killed." Rekka waited since no guards had dared to come near her or Infusca yet. Of course, she didn't want to die. No one wanted to die. However, if she was going to die she might as well take them all with her if they killed her friends. She didn't notice the danger coming their way or well, danger for the guards and not them or both. That remained yet to be seen.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ivan waited for a response. It was most likely not the reaction that Lakari was hoping for since the elf seemed to think beforehand that Ivan had been the leader when he was not. Still, it would potentially achieve what the elf was looking for anyway. Besides, it was easier to associate with someone that was focused on the same goals. Once Lakari seemed to agree to what he had to do, Ivan gave a nod and wordlessly made his leave by simply seeming to disappear in the blink of an eye.

Sir Edward nor Bartimaeus hadn't realized that Rekka had gotten Infusca free of the pyre. Further he hadn't realized how close she was to Sir Edward and he. Her sudden speech brought both of their attentions to her. Sir Edward seemed puzzled. As Rekka went on about how the guards and all were the true villains, Bartimaeus knew that a chance for him to get out of this stick situation with the sword at his neck was coming. Sir Edward was eating up Infusca's words. He was getting angry, which was good for Bartimaeus. It meant he'd get a chance to perhaps dodge death once more.
With his head slightly turned to Rekka he meant to respond to her before she continued with giving them an ultimatum. What made him pause and actually listen to her words was the way the fire responded with her increase anger. It flared higher, slightly even leaning towards her. Sir Edward was not an idiot. There was enough fire there to burn him and everyone else around them. Bartimaeus knew it too. Perhaps the fire wouldn't reach all the way down to where Amber currently was, but it would engulf them all if Rekka could control it with that much ability.
Once Rekka gave pause for Sir Edward to answer, Bartimaeus attacked. He stepped away and ducked. Sir Edward reacted exactly as Bartimaeus thought he would, he attacked vertically where Bartimaeus's head had been. The duck saved his life! Once again Bartimaeus tackled Sir Edward and drove him to the floor. He knocked the blade right out from Sir Edward's hands. "Rekka grab that!" He shouted as he struggled to keep Sir Edward on the floor.
During all of this the head jailer could have cared less about what Rekka was saying. They were all close enough that they could hear her response. He hadn't moved to attack Amber just yet, being slightly cautious since the necromancer was free. He did not realize that Rekka was speaking about her ability to control fire. He thought she spoke about the powers of the necromancer. The Head Jailer had been a foot soldier in the great war. He had seen firsthand what a necromancer could do.
"We cannot just let you go." He shouted. It was at that time that Bartimaeus chose to attack and tackle Sir Edward. Seeing an opportunity, Amber swiped upward with her axe, pushing the rapier up into the air. Having created an opening she quickly followed up with a swipe at the man's shoulder. The powerful axe sank right between the man's shoulder plate as he let out a scream.
Additionally Infusca also let out a scream. Why did she let out a scream? Well perhaps it was because there was a kantana stabbed through her stomach from behind. As the weapon quickly retreated out of her body a second blade cut off her head with a horizontal slash. Standing behind them all and closest to the fire was the Prince of Ravens.

Rekka didn't think these men were insane enough to risk all of their own lives. Honestly, she would rather she not have to kill them all in one final inferno. It was startling how the fire reacted to her. Rekka could only wonder what it meant. She hadn't known how to control the flames very well and yet she seemed to be adapting rapidly. If she wasn't careful she could actually hurt someone without meaning to since she was able to make the flames grow so much. If they ever got back home, Rekka would be looking for someone to help her learn control so that she wasn't usually running wild with her ability. She was careful to keep the flames from touching anyone right now but it wasn't easy. Each time, she almost wavered.
It was easy to see that she had angered the guards around her. At this point, considering their circumstance, this was their last chance of getting out of this alive. Careful to stick close to Infusca while she said all of this, Rekka didn't notice the Prince of Ravens sneaking up from behind them. As she gave the ultimatum, Rekka waited to hear the response from the guards. Her single eye turned toward one of the men that appeared to be decked out compared to the rest of the men here. Her eye had fallen upon Sir Edward. He seemed to be a man of high authority and it looked as though he were angry until he took notice of the fire. Rekka probably could set this whole platform aflame but she'd rather hope these guards were sensible enough to not let themselves get burnt over something like this. Where her gaze was firm, it was clear in Rekka's eye that if pushed into it she would do it if any harm befell her friends from these men.
Bartimaeus took advantage of Sir Edward's distraction and had tackled him. Somehow, the bard had knocked the man's blade out of his hands and they were both trying to make a grab for it now that it was some distance away from them. Rekka had only just heard Bartimaeus telling her to grab hold of the sword. As briskly as she could, Rekka grabbed hold of the sword and lifted it off the platform. She didn't hold it in a threatening manner though. Her own sword was poised to fight if she had to but other than that the real threat came from the flames that swayed with her emotions. Anger had risen within her but not as dangerously as it had back in the cell from earlier. Still, anything could easily increase it depending on the responses of those around her. Sure enough, it didn't take long for one to state that they couldn't just simply let them go.
Allowing herself to look in the direction of the one who spoke to her, Rekka's brow furrowed, her gaze firm. "Do you really want to die over something like this when you're being offered to live freely instead of going through with this?" Rekka replied. As if for added measure, she made the flames increase slightly but noticeably to show she wasn't playing around.
Then, one of the men had gotten attacked but not killed and as he screamed, Rekka nearly leapt out of her skin hearing another one sound right next to her. In surprise, Rekka had lost control of the flames she had been increasing for amoment to find that Infusca had just been stabbed from behind! Eye widening, Rekka didn't even have time to try and stop the person from slicing off Infusca's head. All she could do was watch as Infusca's head rolled right off of the platform onto the cobble stoned street below.
"N-NOOO!" Rekka barely managed to say in her moment of despair at what had just happened. Her mind only just able to process that as she took a short moment to watch what happened. It all happened so fast! Rekka didn't even see the guy coming from behind. 'I failed her,' she thought. Remorse swept over her knowing that after all of this that she had failed Infusca and now the necromancer was dead. Tears burned at her eye as she turned toward the one responsible for Infusca's death. A renewed anger rose within her as she settled her gaze upon the Prince of Ravens. She was frightened of him but the anger within for what he had caused had overwhelmed that fear as she held up the sword, not realizing the flames had gotten much wilder now because of her anger which were behind the prince. Of course, she had no idea who he even was but judging by the pointed ears and angular looking face, a face too perfect to be human, she guessed this guy was an elf. It explained the speed at which he had moved. Rekka, being human, couldn't possibly have expected something like this to happen and neither could she even hope to move nearly as fast as this elf.
As the renewed anger had welled up inside her, the flames got more wild. Rekka didn't intend to hurt anyone but when she was upset it was hard for her to not. "Y-YOU-!" Rekka had growled unable to think of anything else to say except that. Considering all of the emotional things happening today, Rekka was going to be a very tired girl indeed. The emotion anger accompanied with despair was very draining. Where Rekka didn't lunge for the elf just yet it was clear she was disadvantaged from the beginning. It wasn't just because she was human and wasn't as fast as an elf but also because of the lack of an eye. No way was she as experienced as the elf that had just killed her friend.

The Prince of Ravens stood calmly with both swords resting in the palms of his hands. He held them at his side, not in a threatening manner per say. But with the speed he had just used to kill the necromancer, any position with his swords drawn were a threatening manner. His eyes wandered over to Rekka, Bartimaeus and Sir Edward who were still tossing on the ground, and the ring of soldiers who seemed to just sit by and watch as their commander received an axe in his shoulder.
Rekka's scream had been heard by Bartimaeus and Amber. In the toss that he was doing with Sir Edward, there was no time for Bartimaeus to look up to see what had happened to cause Rekka to scream. He most likely thought she was in danger though from the sound of it. So with new found vigor he let fly another punch. This one connected with the Blue Captain's right side of his head. It wasn't a killing blow but it sent the ears a ringing.
Dazed, Bartimaeus looked up to see what had happened. Eyes falling on Rekka first he was glad to see that she wasn't hurt. Moving on to the headless corpse that was now Infusca though brought a sadness to him. All of this now had been for naught. Infusca was dead and her killer... Bartimaeus froze as he eyed the elf in confusion.
"If I didn't know any better I'd say..." Bartimaeus began to think as his eyes focused on the elf's face. There was no satisfaction in that face. And those eyes... They were dead of emotion. Suddenly a name clicked and Bartimaeus's heart began to beat at light speed.
"Rekka! Get away now!" He commanded.
Sir Edward was finally shaking off the daze he had received, which was unnoticed by Bartimaeus as the bard tried to warn Rekka to get away, and he shoved Bartimaeus off him. Falling back, the knight looked for his sword when his eyes fell on Rekka and then the elf behind her. His reaction mirrored Bartimaeus's in manner. Getting to his feet he forgot all about the bard as he sword, "Holy hell!"
Back a ways Amber had just succeeded in rendering her opponent. As the head jailer fell to his knees, Amber used her leg to kick at his shoulder and dislodge her axe from his body. He fell back because of this. The guards surrounding her seemed absolutely stunned that she had just defeated their boss. They seemed lost at what to do.
It was at that moment that Rekka let out a scream. Her eyes, along with the eyes of the guards, all turned towards the sound. Spotting the dead Infusca, the elf who had killed her, and Rekka, Amber's own heart began to beat in fear. She too recognized the elf. "That's..." She began to say out loud, but instead choosing to finish the thought silently. "That's the elf who I battled in the Wasteland. My brother!"
Well it was her half brother technically. She had battled him before she knew who he was, and had paid for it as a result. "Rekka run!" she tried to warn.
The Prince of Ravens, dead of emotion, glanced over back to Rekka. He took a step forward and launched into an attack. He came at her with an attack with his arms moving at twenty miles an hour. His left blade came at her first with a horizontal slash aimed at her upper chest. It was followed with a vertical slash aimed at her left shoulder by his right blade. Regardless if each attacked had hit, the Prince stepped forward again and using the left blade aimed another horizontal slash going the other way, but aimed at her mid-drift. The attack stopped after an angled slash with the right blade aimed at her right shoulder going down to the other side of her torso.
All Amber could do was watch this attack and be distracted as the Prince went after Rekka. "Now you idiots! Attack!" A voice came from below. The head jailer had pushed himself up enough so that he could issue the command. Distracted Amber didn't see the spear as it came right for her from behind.

Rekka wasn't sure what to make of this elf before her. It was clear to her though by the look in his eyes that there was no emotion there. It was the eyes of a cold blooded killer. The realization had unnerved her. Unable to do anything about Infusca, Rekka wondered if it would be wise to fight this elf. Clearly, by his stance though it wasn't intimidating in the way he stood or held his blades there was that vibe telling her to run. Since she was still just getting over the shock of what had happened with Infusca, Rekka remained rooted to the spot as her mind whirled with everything.
It wasn't until she heard Bartimaeus's and Amber's shout when she had finally moved. She wasn't sure but it sounded like the others recognized who was standing there. Not sure who he was but sensing something off about him, Rekka began to step away with her blade still poised if she had to. She had a bad feeling all of a sudden and her friends' shouting had made her retreat. The two were far more experienced than she was and most likely knew this elf. If she didn't try to escape she had a feeling that she would be in for a load of trouble. Already, she saw the elf move and the speed he moved at was startling.
Having only been trained to fight with one sword, Rekka really wasn't sure how to fight someone with two. Granted, she had Sir Edward's sword but she hadn't intended on using his weapon either. She was just trying to keep Sir Edward from killing Bartimeaus since she had been closest to them before the elf appeared. It wasn't long before Rekka wound up dropping that sword as she jumped back from the first strike aimed at her chest. She didn't have to though since she had partial armor on her chest but that still would have left a mark anyway on her. Just instinct was what had made her jump back but that wasn't going to be enough here obviously. The elf was still coming at her!
The next strike, Rekka had made to block it with her father's sword but she hadn't caught it in time. If anything, she had slowed the slash and that didn't do her any good since the elf had still gotten her left shoulder. Thankfully, it wasn't her dominant one but it still stung a hell of a lot. "A-Augh!" Was all she could manage to say before the bastard went for another attack, aiming a strike at her mid-riff. The attack could have been fatal if she hadn't already been retreating at the time when her left shoulder got hurt. Rekka still got hit though by the blade. By this time, Rekka was close to falling off the edge of the platform. It was the final strike that had sent her off the edge. It should not have been any surprise that Rekka would end up at the losing end of this as the fire suddenly returned to normal with no signs of increasing as if Rekka had suddenly released it though the flame still tilted toward where she had gone though like it had done when Bartimaeus had first met the two.
All Rekka knew was a world of pain as she landed on the hard ground below. Whatever might have happened next in that fight, she didn't know since she had instantly lost consciousness when she had hit the ground.

((OOC: Awww Poor Rekka. Stupid elf))
With Rekka knocked off the platform, the Prince of Ravens continued to walk calmly towards Bartimaeus and Sir Edward. Those were the two targets he truly wanted a piece of. His original mission had been to make sure that the necromancer did not leave here alive. That had been accomplished. Rekka had just been a foolish girl in his way. The two he truly wanted a piece of were standing before him.
Amber did not see Rekka fall because she was to busy dodging an attack from behind. A pole arm shot towards her shoulder, and it was all she could do to dodge the attack. Turning her body she just barley dodged the attack. This movement came with a cost: it brought her into the swing of another opponent's pole arm. On one hand she ended up dodging the pointed end of the weapon, which would have caused severe harm without any armor. On the other she stepped further into the attack and was hit by the steel of the pole.
It was like a pro-baseball player had swung a steel bat at her right hip with all his might. Falling to the down and screaming in pain came only after the crunching sound of her bones breaking. "Finish the bitch!" Amber heard from somewhere through the tears and searing pain she now felt. She had to get up! Otherwise she was going to die!
Back at the battle Bartimaues and Sir Edward had seemed to forget that the other person existed. Their eyes did not leave the elf. Seeing him come towards them they both reached for a weapon that wasn't there. Realizing this their eyes quickly scrambled for their weapons. Sir Edward's had gone over with Rekka. Bartimaeus's... well it wasn't here. Part of him worried for Rekka's safety, but he knew that she was better off being off the stage than on it with this enemy. The majority of the crowd had made it out of the small square, leaving only those who had been trampled or hurt.
Still void of emotion, Bartimaeus knew he had to do something. The elf was practically at them now. If they turned tail and ran he'd come after them. Having both been in the war, Bartimaeus knew firsthand that they could not outrun the Prince of Ravens. The attack came at Sir Edward first. With no weapon, Sir Edward acted with the only way he knew how. He shouted, "Light of Heaven's, Barrier!" Rising his hand at the oncoming attack a barrier of light prevented the attack from striking him.
With his attention on Sir Edward, Bartimaeus did the only other thing he could think of. He leaped off the side of the stage! Because he did it deliberately, he was somewhat better off when hitting the ground in comparison to Rekka. The bard had managed to roll into the ground, taking off some of the pain of the fall. It still took his breath away when he hit, and he was sure he would feel the pain of it in the morning. But for now his adrenaline continued to pump. Spotting Rekka knocked out on the floor he headed towards her.

Rekka wasn't sure what was to become of her. As she had been attacked, she could only think of what would happen to her friends. Was she truly destined to die here? After all they had done to get to where they were now? Somehow,it didn't feel right but it wasn't like she could do anything about it. Once that elf had attacked her, Rekka had immediately forgotten about her fire abilities. He didn't give her time to consider them anyway since he had ruthlessly barraged her with attacks, giving no room for retaliation. Then, she felt herself falling off the platform. Where she wanted to remain on the platform, the instinctive part of her told her to take the fall. The pain that he had caused her, the final attack, was what had made her finally fall off the edge. As she fell, her life flashed before her in an instant before she felt herself hit the ground. Her last thoughts were of Amber and Bartimaeus and Infusca's death. What would become of them now? What would become of her?
There was nothing that Rekka could hear or see. All she knew was instant darkness. She had lost consciousness but she didn't know it. While the elf had turned his attention onto Sir Edward and Bartimaeus, Rekka remained very still on the ground almost as if she had just been killed. Yet, nothing stuck out at awkward angles. Plus, there was a faint pulse signifying that she was still alive if only barely. The injuries she had received were pretty nasty. It was almost like the time she had permanently lost her eye.
The memory of her father had come to her at that moment. During the moment where Amber had gotten hit so hard that bones had broken in her hip. Rekka didn't hear the scream, she couldn't hear or see anything in her state right now. All she knew was the darkness and then the memory of her father coming to her then. Just like times before, Rekka sat next to her father as she listened to the stories he would tell her of a time when he was as young as she. About how he served the kingdom and how he had met her mother. Rekka would always sit there and listen even if some of them she had heard numbers of times. It was always a wonder to hear about a past she had never taken part in where her parents were mere teenagers or even kids. She had never met her grandparents so it was even more interesting to her to hear what they had been like. It had made her wish that she at least had a chance to meet them before they had passed away. Even though Rekka's parents had married young, they didn't have her until later in life. She had no siblings or cousins, no aunts or uncles that she knew of. It had just been her, the single child. It had been boring for a while being the only child but she eventually got used to it.
The last memory she had of her father was with her walking home. Along the way, she had bumped into her father, headed out for something to bring back home that they needed. He had told her what he was getting and that he would be back soon. Her mother would be waiting for her at home. Not even aware that this could be the last time she got to enjoy a peaceful moment with her father, Rekka remembered smiling up at him and nodding as she bid him farewell. That comforting, loving smile reflected on her father's face before they had parted ways. Then...her world got turned upside down.
Getting home, Rekka did not notice the fact that one of the windows was open and broken with a glass window pane hanging haphazardly on its hinges. If she had, she would have never entered the house first like she did turning the doorknob. Walking in, she found a dark figure standing in the hallway looking back at her with an obvious look of surprise written all over their face. Rekka's face reflected the same surprise to find someone standing there with a bag in their hands. No doubt, he was a burglar. Considering how crowded the worlds were now it was no wonder that people fought and killed over things more often because of it. However, it never occurred to Rekka that this could ever happen to her or her family. Where her mother was, Rekka couldn't be sure but as she made to call out for help, the intruder had struck.
Closing the distance between himself and Rekka, the man she believed to be a burglar then had lunged for her with a dagger. It had been a strange looking dagger. One with intricate design running along the blade, inscribed upon it were letters of which she could not understand. Where she may have been part of the race that lived in the Land of Dragons, Rekka did not understand the true language of the locals there. Where it should have been a swift strike, ending her life, the sicko had pinned her to the floor and sunk his dagger into her eye socket instead. Twisting it slowly and painfully, the man grinned down at her lecherously as she cried out in pain, begging him to stop.
Then, she heard the angry voice of her father whom had just returned and much sooner than Rekka had expected. Out was his sword and the man gave a cry in pain when he had slashed him with it. Then, there had been a series of clashing and clanging. Rekka couldn't focus on the chaos that took place all around her then since she was busy focusing on the excruciating pain of her injured and lost eye. After all, in order to fight her father, he had pulled his dagger out and with it...well, one can guess what had become of the eye then. Her eye socket had become too scarred for her to wear a glass eye there instead of an eye patch. That very day had been the day where her normal life had become abnormal and depressing.
Rekka remembered her father winning the fight...but not quite. Truth be told, he had been winning but something had happened that Rekka didn't see and didn't know. Instead of there just being one man, there had been two. The first had been a lackey of the second one whom had crept up behind them while they fought. He had stabbed her father in the center of the spine and had made sure that what organs he had hit were vital in the process. Rekka remembered the choking sound her father had made as he had coughed up blood. Only then had Rekka barely managed to look toward her father.
As she did so, she only caught the lackey in her line of sight with her uninjured eye. He had been watching them, smirking at her with a twisted relish but Rekka didn't have time to feel angry as she looked to her father whom was now on his knees, a hand clutched at his wound as he looked at her. Rekka looking back at him. Tears had welled up in her eye, her only good eye now. Although he was badly injured, her father had closed the distance between himself and his daughter. All Rekka knew was there had been blood all over him and there was blood all around them. Yet she could not focus on it but her father's face. Though he was greatly pained, she saw him smiling weakly at her. Unlike the time where he really had died, his bloodied figure had changed then. No longer was he hurt and there seemed to be a strange light behind him as he gazed down at her, smiling as he had before.
"Rekka!"
Rekka wanted to reply back but he had cut her before she could say anything. "I'm so proud of you, Rekka. You've taken good care of your mother in my absence and yourself. You've learned to use my sword even though you didn't have any training with it. You've become a soldier and accomplished a good deal of things for someone still new to the sword and fighting..I'm so very proud of you." Rekka was beside herself seeing her father now. She wasn't even sure if this were a dream or reality as she looked back at him, a loss for words. Where she felt great joy seeing him and hearing his voice again there was also a great pain and longing. She wanted her father so much to be alive again but he could never be. They both knew it.
"You've gone through so much and yet you still have so much ahead of you now. You cannot stay here, Rekka." Before she could object, Rekka's father began to fade away. In the real world, Rekka was starting to become conscious again though how long that would be for, no one would know. All she knew was that her father was fading, his smiling face being the last thing she saw before returning to that darkness again. Slowly, Rekka could feel herself breathing shallowly and pain. There was pain on both of her arms and one of her sides. Her back was even pained. Why was she feeling so much pain?
At around this time, Rekka's consciousness was returning to her slowly as Bartimaeus made his way to her. By the time he would reach her, if he did, he would probably catch one word. "F...Father..." It had barely been a whisper considering her state but she had said it. No doubt, remembering her father at a time like this, her mind clearly having been somewhere else before now but at least she was showing some signs of life if only barely. Blood was seeping from the wounds she had obtained from the elf before her fall. The slashes on her shoulders or arms were more dreadful than they appeared to be but as for her side, well it was the more serious of the injuries. If she hadn't fallen that elf would have most likely killed her.

Bartimaeus did reach Rekka at about the same time she said the word father. The comment made Bartimaeus's eyebrow raise for a moment, thinking that she was talking about him. "Sorry gal. I ain't your daddy. At least not biologically anyway. But you can call me daddy if you want.." He said with a smile. That was Bartimaeus for you. Even in the middle of a battle he was cracking jokes and making awkward advances on a knocked out woman.
"But we can talk about that later. Up we go." Regardless of if Rekka managed to wake up or not, Bartimaeus picked her up and threw her over his shoulder in a fireman carry. They needed to get out of here before the Prince of Ravens turned his attention back on them. Up above Bartimaeus could hear the banging sound of a sword hitting something like a wall, or in this case Sir Edward's barrier.
The bard knew nothing of Amber's trouble. As he searched for her his eyes spotted the group of guards still in a circle, but he saw no sign of a fight or Amber. "That can't be good either." Bartimaeus spoke to himself. He didn't know what to do. He couldn't just leave Amber if she was in danger. "Sorry Rekka. You're going to have to wait here for a moment." Lowering Rekka back down he leaned her against the wall of the stage. She seemed to be regaining consciousness. Spotting Rekka's sword on the ground near her, Bartimaeus picked it up. He had no clue as to what happened to Sir Edward's heavy blade, but he needed some type of weapon.
"I'm borrowing this love. Don't go anywhere, I'll be right back. I've had enough of this."
Slugging the samurai's sword over his right shoulder, Bartimaeues began to walk towards the battle. He did not run. He didn't have too. He did however begin to hum. It was an ominous tune that seemed very unlike the bard. It started off slow with a sort of lullaby like tone to it before it began to speed up to a faster pace. Then the bard began to sing. And when he sang real music actually accompanied the bard's notes, sounds of a violins, trumpets, symbols, and synthesizers. There of course was no visible instruments being played, but all in the area could hear it.
"These, in the day when heaven was falling, The hour when earth's foundations fled, Followed their mercenary calling, And took their wages, and are dead.
Their shoulders held the sky suspended; They stood, and earth's foundations stay; What God abandoned, these defended, And saved the sum of things for pay."*
As he sang a red glow engulfed the bard. All eyes had fallen on the singing magic of the bard preventing all battles from continuing. It brought the Prince of Ravens's attacks to a halt as he was mesmerized by the display of strange magic. Sir Edward was left agape at knowing just whose magic it was. Amber, who had been about to be attacked, was saved by the music. The guards all turned towards the bard in surprise. Even the head jailer was mesmerized by the music.
With the lyrics coming to an end, Bartimaeus smiled. It had been so long since he allowed himself to sing these words. "Told myself I'd never go back to these days... But desperate times call for desperate measures." And so they did. Bartimaeus leaped from his current spot on the ground. His enhanced strength allowed him easily to jump up higher than the stage.
As he reached thirty feet high he landed about ten feet on the other side of the gathered guards. "Whoops!" Bartimaeus said. He had overshot that by just a tad. At least he managed to jump onto the stage though. The guards, along with the Prince of Ravens and Sir Edward, were quickly getting back to their senses. But not before Bartimaeus came at them at forty miles an hour.
Running he let out a grunt as he ran right into the gathered guards. Weapon swinging, each time he swung Rekka's blade he sent a guard flying off the stage. It was a matter of moments before only the head jailer, a hurt looking Amber, and Bartimaeus were the only three left besides the Prince of Ravens and Sir Edward. Glancing down at the head jailer, Bartimaeus squinted in disgust.
"J... just take her and go! Please don't hurt me!" The jailer pleaded. The captain had done a work on the man's shoulder with her axe. Bartimaeus simply walked right up to Amber.
Even though she was in pain she looked up at the bard. "Show off!" She mocked. It brought a smile to the bard.
"Up we go captain." Picking up Amber, Bartimaeus threw her over his shoulder. With another leap he jumped over to where he had placed Rekka.

Rekka did not expect to hear a response and not in a fashion she believed to be her real father's. Her brows furrowed, though her eye was still shut, in confusion. That voice wasn't her father's. Slowly, she opened her eye and blinked at the suddenly bright light around her blearily. There was someone standing over her but she couldn't make them out as they went on to say something lecherous. "...Wha?" had been her only response as she tried to open her eye and peer over at the owner of the voice. As she did so, she couldn't make out the bard's figure but she knew the voice. She knew it didn't belong to her actual father but recognized soon enough who's voice it was. It was Bartimaeus's voice and he sounded like he was hitting on her. Rekka, though she wasn't actually doing well right now frowned up at him in response but it was a weak response. If she hadn't been injured she would have probably given him an earful. Of all the things!
'Well, that was awkward if he had heard me talking about my dad moments ago!' Rekka thought with a grumble. Before she could do anything, Rekka had been forced to close her eye again since her vision just wouldn't clear no matter how many times she blinked. Then, the bard picked her up. Her injuries screamed with pain as he did so, Rekka gritting her teeth when he did.
When the bard paused, Rekka felt herself drifting out of consciousness again as he started to apologize to her about something. What he was apologizing for though she never knew since she had dropped out of consciousness again or rather, drifted for a short moment at that. The events that took place afterward, she hadn't noticed until close to the end where Bartimaeus was quite literally kicking ass. Rekka, having drifted out of that darkness with no event in her head, blinked blearily at the platform, her vision clearing for a moment as she saw Bartimaeus using her father's sword. He now had Amber over his shoulder and his jumping to where she was almost gave her a heart attack since she hadn't expected him to suddenly appear. That was quite a jump!
Vision hazy, Rekka moved her head a little to peer up at the others but it was no good. Her vision had kept going from clear to blurry and her head kept spinning. "Ugh," Rekka grunted before passing out again. Amber and Rekka really had a number done on them. The only one not hurt as much as them was Bartimaeus. Once again, the two were being saved by the bard. A bard that clearly wasn't a mere bard.

Bartimaeus had done it. He rescued Amber. Now all he had to do was get them all out of here. Returning to Rekka he gave her the greatest smile he could. "Don't look like you'll be able to stand on your own. Neither will she..."
"Can you not move so much... I'm in a... lot of pain here." Amber spoke through clutched teeth. With a broken hip every movement sent a thrill of pain up her spine. Her and Rekka weren't in the greatest of conditions.
"Sorry ladies. You'll have to put up with me. That man wants my life and he won't be too busy with Sir Knight up there for much longer."
They could all hear the hum the barrier made of a blade hitting it with strike after strike. Bartimaeus glanced up at the battle not to far from them. The elf was still expressionless as he hammered strike after strike against the bright barrier that surrounded Sir Edward. The knight on the other hand looked to be tiring. His face was red as he struggled to keep the barrier up against the knight.
"I'm going to carry both of you over my shoulder and run. It's the best option I have. It's going to cause both of you pain but I don't want to risk taking just one of you, leaving, and coming back."
Amber didn't like the sound of more pain but she didn't like staying here either. She'd deal with the pain.
"You would leave a fellow knight, Lord Bartimaeus!" Sir Edward shouted from the stage. Amber looked at Bartimaeus, mentally taking a note to ask him about being a knight and apparently lord later. The bard had a sudden look of sadness on his face. She saw it only for a second because it turned to a look of determination as he glanced up at Sir Edward.
Bartimaeus shouted back, "I am neither knight nor lord any longer." That was all he said as without further ado he went ahead and threw Rekka and Amber over each of his adjacent shoulders. Honestly Amber was surprised that he had enough strength to do so. "And off we go." Leaping again, he began a series of jumps away from the square. Where they were going, well Amber had no clue.

Before Rekka had lost consciousness, as Bartimaeus had returned to where she had been left, Rekka took one look at him as her vision momentarily cleared. There was a very big smile on the bard's face. She wasn't sure if she liked that smile on his face. It gave her a sense of foreboding as Bartimaeus proclaimed that it looked like she wasn't going to be able to stand on her own nor...she? Whom did he mean by she? Then, she heard Amber's voice. Amber was apparently hurt too by the sound of her voice. Rekka started at the sound of Amber's voice but then she soon lost consciousness.
As the bard spoke, Rekka felt as if she were hearing him from underwater. His words were muffled and distant sounding to her. A wave of dizziness overwhelmed her senses and soon, Rekka was out for the count without able to really register what was happening. At least no one would have to worry about Rekka getting worked up for the time being. She was out of it and wouldn't be able to hear what was happening anytime soon or the exchanges between Sir Edward and Bartimaeus.
All she would know was when she woke up at wherever they had ended up. Where that may be, well neither of them knew and were about to find out. It would be a while yet before Rekka would finally gain consciousness again. When she had, she heard nothing as she slowly began to stir. She furrowed her brows as she moved her head, her neck stiff.
"Awe, man!" Rekka mumbled before she opened her eye to look around. At first everything was blurry. There was no telling where she was even now and with her vision not clear, she had no idea who or what was even nearby.
